I’d forgotten about this guy Fantana. Not heard from him for ages. But I was trying to remember last time I laughed so much reading a boxing article – and it was one of his his a year or so back (think it was Audley related again !).

I will have to google Oswestry.

Funnier still are some of your guys comments who just don’t get it. Good on eastside for allowing this sort of stuff – there’s no harm in it.

Of course if Audley wins Fantana will have the last laugh !

The Ricky Martin gag had me laughing out loud!

Harrison had the world at his feet after the Olympics though he was bigger than the game managed himself got 1million pounds from TV which was unheard of for a first time professional so when many fighters were in the gym learning their craft he got lazy and complacement and the rest is history.

Will he come again to a point but when its time to step up he doesnt go toe to toe and go down fighting. Wasted talent.

I guessed the author from the title. Wasn’t too hard!

Martin “EL BRUCHADOR” Honorio

Ahahahahaha! ver , very funny article. One thing with Fantana is that u know where he’s coming from— to make us laugh.. EVERYTIME!!!

Wilder stopped.

Wilder won’t attempt to knock out Harrison, he might get countered, he will know Harrison can punch, Harrison is good fighter, Wilder will find that out, Wilder hasn’t fought anyone who knows how to actually Box.

I,m Canadian by the way. No hard feelings

OLDley Harrisson !! Haha A real U.K. joke. Thanks for nothing lol

Posted April 2, 2013 8:36 pm

Very WEAK title. You suck..

Posted April 2, 2013 5:04 pm

I think Audley will win this fight easily. With a counter shot by ko

Posted April 2, 2013 4:51 pm

Is this supposed to be an example of British humor??? It must be, otherwise this article is rediculous. Comparing Harrison to Jesus, LMAO. “Singlehandedly knocked out Michael Sprott” – Singlehandedly, really, was there someone else in the ring fighting with Harrison? Do they let tag teams fight in England? Does the author even know what singlehandedly means? And since Wilder’s not British, he doesn’t have “courage and balls”? Again, LMAO. When I think of fighters with courage and balls, I think of Mexicans not the British, sorry.

Just look at this washed up circus clown.

Another corny headline,

Posted April 2, 2013 2:20 pm

jerking off in front of the mirror……hmmmmmmmmm I’m going to try that now

Posted April 2, 2013 2:04 pm

great article!
to add, i agree, this man would give Rocky Balboa a run for his money with the amount of times he has had to scrape his carcass back of the tarmac and got back in the ring.
But that is the true essence of a champion, even the true essence of a Brit; its not jut the winning, its how many times can you get back up, when EVERYONE around you is telling you to stay down?
Audley truly is one of us; a Brit until the end.

Which will probably be exactly 3 rounds into his next fight, but hey! At least he got back at it!

Posted April 2, 2013 1:58 pm

@ Brunosjab : challenging but totally worth it?

Posted April 2, 2013 1:46 pm

Writing this article must have been like beating one out in front of the mirror whilst patting yourself on the back at the same time.

Posted April 2, 2013 1:43 pm

Textbook Hayelord

If Wilder doesn’t knock Audley out within the first two rounds he should probably pack it in and call it a day, at least as far as boxing goes.

Posted April 2, 2013 1:37 pm

Does anyone know how the sparring was when these two fought?

Posted April 2, 2013 12:39 pm

Oscar Picklernie Dorkman

Audley needs to get on deck then step up to the plate and be ready to win it. Win it Audley. Make some bread for retirement, and one last hurrah.

Johnny Dutch

Nice parody article. His game is suited to the amatuers. That’s how he won the gold medal…he can score points.

Posted April 2, 2013 12:17 pm

If wilders baby sitter management want to set up safe fights for Wilder guys who were once promising but have been beaten are perfect for Wilder to progress with relative safety. Harrison, Ustinov, Dimitrenko, Chargev, Jonhson, all once potential stars who got beat. Perfect for Wilder, big step up from taxi drivers.

Posted April 2, 2013 12:12 pm

Harrison has a problem when faced with heavy hitters. He mentally breaks down. He was scared of haye and ended up getting smashed. He looked like he came to fight price but price is just too powerful. He will always do well in prize fighters, the guy does have power is 6’5 with a freaking long reach a good jab and is 250 pounds. He will give most heavies trouble but the at the elite level he just wont deliver. If he fights wilder it will be the price fight all over again. Not everyone was made to be a world champ……the painful truth.
