“Proper strict tests this time and lets see” Pacquiao* punk-out once again. Team Punkuiao* made it abundantly clear that they would NOT comply with any test not mandated by a boxing commission. they have in fact demonstrated a preference for commissions with minimal testing requirements (e.g., Texas). by now every sane fight-fan knows it was all a ruse to protect Pacquiao* from defeat v. an equally prime and superior opponent and/or ignominy due to a dirty test. what we DO Know about Pacquiao’s* last bout is that Marquez challenged him to “proper” testing, Pacquiao* declined, and got his ass KTFO, and according to commission-mandated testing, Marquez was no dirtier or cleaner than Pacquiao*. i DARE Pacquiao’s* remaining fanboys to demand “proper strict tests” for Pacquiao*. at which point, i’ll chuckle at the predictable response: “my fans don’t make the rules. the commission does. i’m not going to change the rules of Boxing just to satisfy my fans” (LoL) . . . the rivalry is O-VER. Marquez is Greater. Viva Marquez.

Bradley is not damaged goods… He probably suffered a concussion, but that is not hard to come back from just one of those… Most guys who took those shots would be in intensive care. That Provodnikov had a great night. His defense is full of holes and needs tons of work. His offense, especially those short, popping combinations, is brilliant.

No doubt in my mind that JMM was juiced up for the last fight, look at his back for crying out loud. Proper strict tests this time and lets see pacman win and set the floyd fight up. Yachemash

$3 mill guaranteed for Pacquiao*. the entire balance of a bout held at Estadio Azteca before 100,000 of Marquez’s fans goes to Marquez. Marquez made the same sacrifice several times to compel Pacquiao* to stop stalling and face him every 4 years. Pacquiao* needs to prove that he wants to face Marquez just as much as Arum does. however, Pacquiao* has never been eager to face Marquez. particularly not after “the best training camp he’s ever had” resulted in him being victimized by the Greatest KO in Boxing History. No More bogus scorecard “Ws” for Pacquiao*. Marquez knows that Pacquiao* can’t avoid his powerpunches for 12 rounds and that all it takes is for him to land one to take it out of the judges hands.

These guys will always be competitive and entertaining when they fight each other, but that doesnt mean that they should keep fighting each other.

If MP wins and beats Bradley then maybe we will see FM MP. But at this point, does it even matter?

JMM and MP is always a great fight!

Fight i wish to see regardless of weight lines: Broner vs Marquez; Manny vs canelo, Mayweather vs Martinez

Posted April 3, 2013 9:36 am

it’s just another payday for marquez, he’s way past his prime and weight……won’t be around much longer

MNboxingFAN – Sean

The fact that Arum wants this fight to be closer to Pac’s home tells me his career is almost over. It all smells of a farewell fights for his countryman.

Posted April 3, 2013 9:08 am

How does pac need Marquez. No matter how you look at it pac will always be the A side of things. Let Marquez fight for less money and get beaten. He only has pac style down and it took 4 times and a timely shot while getting beat up to get his victory. This is still the same guy who wouldn’t fight khan for his title when offered.

Posted April 3, 2013 6:26 am

Marquez isn’t scared to sign no contract with Pacman. He wants more MONEY; and RIGHTFULLY SO.

Ghetto Thug

Hecdoc keeps dreaming, u forgot to mention that ur “8 divison champion” have been won against lame oposition, cathchweight BS in his favor, washed and drained guys, vacant titles, and gifted decisions, everybody fears him?? LMAO… Its hard for u butthurt pactards to accept ur hero is nothing but a hypejob, JMM shown once more why his is Punkcquiao´s PAPI

Posted April 3, 2013 2:16 am

Will someone please get that scared Ped user Marquez to sign a contract with Manny. He sure seems fearful of the man that beat him 3 times, and he beat once. Hmm…wonder why he’s so reluctant, and it’s not about money either. If Marquez decides to fight Bradley or Broner, he’s going to get beat, and his story ends. I’m sure the testing process in any of Marquez fight will be as strict as ever. Now, someone tell me why he’s so scared to fight Manny. IMO, he doesn’t want to lose as he was in all 4 fights until the ped punch happened. He was taking a beating, and deep down he doesn’t want to take any chances on losing to Manny, which he will. Manny can’t fight Marquez or Mayweather due o their fears of facing him. He needs to fight Martinez or Ward. He has the power, athleticism and skill level to beat both guys. Don’t ever doubt the best fighter of all time. 8 division champion. The only one to have ever accomplished such a feat

Posted April 3, 2013 1:56 am

Eleanor the Hag…. I get that Pacquiao vs Marquez V will happen.

Since when is making fights the fans want to see a major consideration of promoters, managers, trainers, boxing orgs, or boxers themselves? They make fights they believe they can win… or can move them into position for a big money fight…. or are stuffed down their throats as mandatories.

The Low Blow !

hecdog you forgot to mention Mannys awesome karaoke skills !

Posted April 3, 2013 1:33 am

Of course, you have to make Marquez/ Pac 5. You have 2 entire countries as fan bases. There isn’t a bigger fight that can be made other than May/Alveraz or May/Pac. It will have more interest and make more money than May/Guerrero. Plus, its a great rivalry. Wait, its the only rivalry, right now.

The Mad Scientist

Poor hecdog, he cant seem to get over the fact Dinamita exceeded his and the rest of the pactards nightmares..where was the outcry about Angel Heredia in the 3rd fight..? I guess as long as Manny Pacquiao gets the decision it really doesn’t matter who Marquez’s strength and condioning coach is..

Hecdog, u sound like a butthurt teenager girl, wake up homie ur lame hero has been exposed and will be KTFO again at least he takes his SUPER and MAGICAL drinks again, a fight in asia would be the perfect escenario for this.

Posted April 2, 2013 10:56 pm

Yep Singapore. I guess OSDT is out of the question there. Time for team Pacquioa to included that “extra” ingredient to his water.::cough cough:: Here you go Pacquioa, a little “something” to get you feeling like new.

Posted April 2, 2013 7:37 pm

hecdog- delusional Pacquioa fan to the extreme. calm down. 3/4 of the world depressed?…lol The Philipines is hardly the entire world dude. I bet you are also suffering from demensia and occasional nightmares replaying Marquez brutally knocking out your idol.

Posted April 2, 2013 7:33 pm

…does anyone knows how many”Friday the 13th” movies were ever made??

Posted April 2, 2013 7:33 pm

IMO, why is this fight even necessary? The 4th was made because there was always controversy between the other 3. The 4th should have answered any questions from the previous fights.

Posted April 2, 2013 7:27 pm

I’m interested in seeing IF Pacquiao is CRAZY enough to RUN IN on Marquez again.

Posted April 2, 2013 7:23 pm

Nobody is interested in this;PEDman is old news and should move on to other endeavours.

Posted April 2, 2013 7:05 pm

hecdog-Sorry man but that ship has SAILED and its time that YOU realize it. Everyone now knows that there’s a difference between facing Top 10 P4P Fighters and #0 P4P Fighters. But its OK to KEEP dreaming.

Posted April 2, 2013 7:02 pm

There are only two fights left for Dinamita, Bradley and Chris John. Then he should ride off to the sunset. JMM cannot have a better conclusion to his warfare with Pac, he don’t need Pac but Pac definately needs him and everybody needs money, I see a more lucritive purse split will attract JMM for the 5th fight.

Posted April 2, 2013 5:30 pm

Manny Pacquiao is arguably the best prize fighter of all time. A stadium or any indoor arena isn’t big enough to hold the millions of die hard Manny Pacquiao fans. The only place big enough is the Atlantic Ocean. He will brutalize and badly hurt Tim Bradley or the Ped Punching cheater that is JMM. Marquez has been running from a 5th fight because he knows exactly what awaits him. Boxing isn’t the same without the legendary 8 time division champion Manny Pacquiao. He comes to fight regardless of who it is. He’s the true description of a fighter. 3/4 of the world’s population continues to be depressed after seeing this great warrior succumb to the cheating ways and treachery of Angel Hereida and Juan Manuel Marquez, but as all great warriors do, Manny Pacquiao will return with a vengeance never seen in the history of boxing. Please keep women and children away from the TV when Manny fights. The scene will be ugly. Manny’s reign of terror will return again. Everyone wants to see Manny. He is the most loved, respected, adored boxer of all time. 8 championships in 8 different divisions will never be equaled. Lets appreciate his talent before he leaves boxing.

Posted April 2, 2013 4:58 pm

Pacquiao won 2, Marquez won 1, why not?.

Posted April 2, 2013 4:44 pm

Eleanore the Hag

Tark, nobody wants to see a 5th fight. Don’t you get that? Let Pac slaughter a damaged Bradley and then retire with his dignity intact and a 2-1-1 record against JMM. As for JMM, how about Chris John at the right weight. Or a rematch with Mayweather? Or a fight with Cotto?

Posted April 2, 2013 4:30 pm

Eleanore the Hag

Who cares anymore. Pac is old news. Next!

mayweather vs pac………..they fight everyone wanted and no one got. The fall of boxing.

I would rather see Pac vs. Boner.

You can rest assure that all bets (and drug testing) will be out of the window if this 5th installment is made. Singapore? LOL GTFOH. Plan on Pacman going back to hercules on fight night.

Posted April 2, 2013 12:40 pm

OMG BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! No one wants to pay for this. This was the perfect conclusion to end all the controversy and end it. Can Arum stop trying to milk this bull

Posted April 2, 2013 12:34 pm

Tumbo your talking crazy. Pac could fight that guy that beat Rios as a comeback fight and it would blow out any fight Marquez put together money wise.

Posted April 2, 2013 11:58 am

Why a hotel or Casino? Why not a soccer stadium where you can jam 90,000 fans in? JMM said he wants to KO Pac again but is playing hard to get in order to fatten his end of the deal. Why wouldn’t he? I believe the fight will happen and they’ll engineer a tight win for Pacquiao one way or another. They’ll move Heaven and Earth to get him a win. Then if Floyd can beat Guerrero and Canelo the fight that everybody wants to see can be made at long last.

Of course Floyd loves to manipulate the universe. He might say something cute like, “If Pacquiao gives Bradley a rematch I’ll fight him. I think Tim deserves a rematch. It’s only right because he has a win over Pacquiao.”

Floyd loves to see Bob Arum slap his forehead and say, “What else does this kid need?”

Posted April 2, 2013 11:55 am

Eleanore the Hag

Tumbo, stop with the Pac Bashing you moron. We are sick of it. And stop with the JMM nut sac sucking. It’s become truly sickening.

Posted April 2, 2013 11:51 am

Squared-Circle (a.k.a. LionKing)

I didn’t think there was any real need for a 4th fight, let alone a 5th. IMO, Pac-Man was winning the last fight before he caught with that shot. Controversial topic on ESB, but PacMan still leads the series 2 to 1. I don’t know why Arum is so damn fixated on this match-up. Sure it has sold well, but there are so many other big-money fights that need to be made.

Posted April 2, 2013 11:47 am

Pac by KO.

Posted April 2, 2013 11:28 am

“all inhouse Top Rank staff but NO May vs Pac1, May vs Bradley1, Nonito vs Mares, Broner vs Rios/Alvarado, we missed out completely on Juanma Lopez vs Gamboa. Arum has his own matchmaking” Sad, isn’t it Happyboy? Boxing fans are getting ripped off.

Posted April 2, 2013 10:51 am

JMM dont have enough draw power to demand 55%

Manny Pacquiao has not retired. It was only a stupid April Fool´s joke.

Posted April 2, 2013 8:59 am

Manny has retired.

Posted April 2, 2013 7:55 am

Ofcourse it makes sense cause it was designed to, just like Alvarado vs Rios3, Bradley vs Pac2, even Bradley vs Provodnikov2 if you like, all inhouse Top Rank staff but NO May vs Pac1, May vs Bradley1, Nonito vs Mares, Broner vs Rios/Alvarado, we missed out completely on Juanma Lopez vs Gamboa. Arum has his own matchmaking style where he maximises his profit not our desires but his and his cronies.

Posted April 2, 2013 6:42 am

You could make the argument that this fight makes a lot of sense for everyone involved and, of course, it means more money for Arum so I’m sure it will happen.

Posted April 2, 2013 6:02 am

Dan D

I think Marquez will stop Manny again this time.

Posted April 2, 2013 5:52 am

Simple: Marquez demands a contract for 55% of the all revenue, or he doesn’t fight, and that’s what I’m hoping that Juan does.
