Kenny Craven Signs With TheDailySports.com Boxing Promotions

11.12.06 – Queensbury, NY – TheDailySports.com Boxing Promotions has signed rugged veteran Kenny “The Raven” Craven to a promotional contract. Craven, who resides in Albany, Louisiana currently, holds a 27-18 (22 KOs) record. His last fight was a first round TKO loss to Heavyweight Oliver McCall on June 30, 2006 in Florida..

“Kenny has been fighting professionally for over ten years. During that time, not only has he always been brought in as the “opponent”, he has also been forced to fight at Heavyweight. He walks around under 200 lbs! The first thing we decided was that Kenny would now be fighting in the Cruiserweight Division. I feel that his veteran leadership will help out our stable of young fighters. In his first fight with us, “The Raven” will headline River Valley Fight Night on January 20, 2007 at the Howard Johnson’s Event Center in Fort Smith Arkansas against an opponent to be named soon”, stated Bill Calogero, president of TheDailySports.com Boxing Promotions. He added, “We have retained Keith Terceira to train Kenny for his quest to become the World Cruiserweight Champion.”

“I am very excited to have the opportunity to fight at my normal weight for the rest of my career. I feel that I can beat any cruiserweight out there and hope to have the belt around my waist very soon”, Craven said from his home in Louisiana.
