27.08.06 – Dominic Pesoli’s 8 Count Productions, HOME OF THE BEST IN CHICAGO BOXING teams up with Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions and Miller Lite along with TCF Bank to present INDEPENDENCE BRAWL on Friday, September 15th at Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom. The fully air conditioned Aragon Ballroom is located at 1106 W. Lawrence Avenue on the north side of Chicago. Doors for this event will open at 5:30pm, with the first bell scheduled for 6:30pm. Headlining the evening is the WBC’s #1 ranked super middleweight Librado Andrade, 23-0 (17KO’s) a native of Leon Guanajuato, Mexico, who will battle Richard Grant, 19-13-1 (5KO’s) of Brooklyn, NY in a scheduled ten round bout.

The hard hitting Cloud, 11-0 (10KO’s) a native of Tallahassee, Florida will appear in an eight round bout. Also on the action packed card is the return of Chicagoland favorite, super bantamweight Ivan Rodriguez, 6-3 (3KO’s) who will appear in a six round bout.
Newcomer Marcos Esquivel, 1-0 (KO) of Aurora, IL, who made his pro debut on July 21st on the 8 Count Productions SHOWDOWN event with a fantastic knockout stoppage of Tim Lindgren, will appear in a four round super lightweight bout.
Also on the undercard is Chicago female super bantamweight Nora Reyes, 1-1 who will battle in a four round bout.
Rounding out the undercard is Polish prospect Mateusz Masternak, 2-0 (2KO’s),
scheduled in a four round light heavyweight bout.
