Ben Television to carry CMX Champions of Boxing

29.09.04 – Now into its fourth full month of production, “CMX Champions of Boxing”– presented by CMXsports and promoted by Guilty Boxing — announced its first international television distribution deal today. BEN Television will be televising the English feed of the weekly series beginning this week! BEN Television is a free to air channel that covers all-over the Great Britain and Ireland markets and reaches more than seven million homes on the BSKYB platform on Channel 184 Electronic Programme Guide in the UK alone. BEN Television also reaches out to Western Europe, and North Africa collectively reaching more than 30 million satellite accessible digital homes.

Boxing fans from around the world have been catching all the action of “CMX Champions of Boxing” and its Spanish feed, “CMX Boxeo de Campeones” via a live internet stream at www.cmxsports.com. BEN Television viewers will be able to see the very same show, featuring former WBC welterweight champion and 2004 International Boxing Hall of Fame inductee, Carlos Palomino, and former NFL All-Pro kicker and veteran sports announcer Benny Ricardo providing the color commentary to newly elected World Boxing Hall of Fame inductee, Colonel Bob Sheridan’s blow-by-blow. Sheridan is a veteran of more than 750 world title fight broadcasts. CMXsports and Guilty Boxing will produce 48 two-hour shows a year over a three-year period with two cards each month emanating from Las Vegas –The Orleans Hotel & Casino and the Gold Coast Hotel & Casino.
