Tommy Fury: Jake Paul, you can fight me anytime and anywhere

Light heavyweight prospect Tommy Fury called out YouTuber Jake Paul on Tuesday in response to the American giving him a bit of a scolding for his brother Tyson Fury suggesting that the two fight.

Jake bluntly said that if Tommy Fury (5-0, 4 KO) wants to fight him, he needs to contact him on social media rather than having Tyson do the dirty work.

“If you want to fight me, don’t let your big brother do s*** for you,” said Jake Paul on social media to Tommy Fury.

Sadly, this would be a step up in class for Tommy Fury, even though he’s been for a little while longer pro ranks than Jake. Tommy’s opposition has godawful since he turned pro in 2018.

At 6’0″, Tommy doesn’t have the size of the 6’9′ Fury, and without the height, he’s just an average fighter with slow hands and very little power.

Tommy fights more like a shorter version of Hughie Fury, and it seems obvious that he’s never going to rise above the domestic level.

“I see somebody is having a little bit of something to say. Mr. Jake Paul, I don’t need anybody to do my dirty work.

“I’m calling you out myself right now,” said Tommy Fury on social media in reacting to Jake Paul’s social media post earlier today.

“You can fight me anytime, anyplace, and anywhere. All you’ve got to do is get in touch,” said Fury.

This would be a win-win for Tommy Fury if he’s able to talk his way into a fight with Jake Paul. It would be a big payday for Tommy, and likely the biggest one he’ll ever see as a professional.

It doesn’t look like will ever win a world title, so this might be as good as it gets for him.

If you’re Jake Paul, there’s absolutely no reason for you to fight Tommy Fury because it’s not a match-up that will resonate with boxing fans in the U.S or UK. There are a lot more popular people to fight for Jake than Tommy, who most boxing fans have never heard of.

“If Tyson Fury took a s***, it would be his little brother,” said Jake Paul on social media.

“He’s literally like this little kid. My point is here. You’re Tyson Fury’s little brother. If you want to fight me, don’t let your big brother do s*** for you.

Log in to Instagram or Twitter and call me out for yourself, bro. What’s going on in this boxing world?” said Jake.
