Talking (talking being what he has been doing far more than fighting over the past few months, as he awaits his return fight with Wladimir Klitschko) with The Mail, Fury branded the unbeaten 2012 Olympic gold medallist “useless,” with “no idea how to defend himself.”

The return fight has dragged on and on, to a tiresome degree, and now, in speaking with RingTV.com, Tom Loeffler of K2 Promotions said yesterday the fight may not take place until the fall (Autumn as we call it in the UK). As fans know, it was back in November, getting on for five months ago, when Fury defeated Klitschko in an upset, and neither fighter has had the chance to either reverse or repeat the result since.

Speaking with The Mirror, Fury revealed how he was “hit in the back by Richard Towers over in the Ingles’ gym in Sheffield” eight years ago and has suffered pain ever since.

Fight fans might be getting a little bit tired of waiting for the Tyson Fury-Wladimir Klitschko rematch, and they are certainly getting tired about hearing when and where the fight may or may not take place; but still the saga continues. We’ve heard how the fight might go ahead in Austria on June 4th, or in Manchester, UK on the same date.
Then both venues and dates were confirmed as unconfirmed (!) and the wait for something concrete resumed. But today, in speaking with weekly trade paper Boxing News, or at least its website, Fury’s promoter Mick Hennessey said the latest word is that the fight will go ahead at a stadium in the UK in July.

Not too long ago, heavyweight champion Tyson Fury posted his “wish-list” on Twitter, with the big fights he wants, in order, revealed. Well, WBC heavyweight king Deontay Wilder – the fighter who, in the opinion of many, is the third best big man in the sport after Fury and Wladimir Klitschko – has listed the big fights he would like next.
Speaking with Sky Sports, “The Bronze Bomber” said he would like to fight Tyson Fury after his upcoming defence in Russia against Alexander Povetkin (a fight Wilder says he is not “foolish enough” to look past) and then after that, he wants the winner of the upcoming Charles Martin-Anthony Joshua bout.
Eddie Hearn says this November is a possibility for Fury-Joshua showdown
British promoter Eddie Hearn is working on making a number of big fights this year, and top of the list is a potential all-British blockbuster up at heavyweight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. Hearn, in his column for Mail Online, wrote how he is somewhat amused by people suggesting, via social media and on the boxing web sites, that he would not let his fighter Joshua in with Fury so soon.
Not so, writes Hearn, who feels the fight is a natural and will be worked on for as soon as this November providing both heavies win their next fight. Fury will of course fight former champ Wladimir Klitschko at a still-to-be-determined date (possibly June 4th), while Joshua will challenge IBF ruler Charles Martin next month. The would-be unification would be a “huge fight,” Hearn writes and that “all being well we might make Joshua-Fury in November.”

The Fury-Klitschko rematch has been worked on for some weeks now, but the date now being talked of is June 4th and the favorite to play host to the fascinating rematch is Austria – the country Klitschko has often used for his training base.
According to an article in The Mirror, Klagenfurt’s 32,000 capacity Woerthersee stadium is now the front-runner to host the fight.
