In an evening that could have been billed as a comic tragedy rather than a fight, former WBO cruiserweight champion Lawrence Okolie (20-1, 14 KOs) turned what was supposed to be a championship bout into a farcical sideshow, effortlessly demolishing the untested and comically overhyped WBC Bridgerweight champion Lukasz Rozanski (15-1, 14 KOs).
Lawrence Okolie made a dominant display of power on Friday night, winning the WBC briderweight title with a first round knockout over the hapless champion Lukasz Rozanski at the Podpromie Arena in Rzeszow, Poland.

Lawrence Okolie travels to Poland on Friday, to challenge WBC bridgerweight champ Lukasz Rozanski, and the former WBO cruiserweight champion has spoken about his desire to become a three-weight world champion – at cruiserweight, at bridgerweight, and ultimately at heavyweight.
Lawrence Okolie, last seen in the ring losing his WBO cruiserweight title to Chris Billam-Smith, will attempt to become a two-weight champion in May.
Badou Jack, who was recently in the picture as far as who would be Canelo Alvarez’s next dance partner (Jack turning down the fight as he would have had to have dropped down to 180 pounds AND dealt with a rehydration clause), has now got himself a totally different fight.
Tonight in Poland, local hero Lukasz Rozanski stopped Alen Babic inside the very first round to win the WBC bridgerweight title.
