Gamboa did well in spite of his long lay-off. He still needs to watch those wild reckless lunges of his which leaves him wide open for the counter. Hopefully, next fight there will be improvements for him in that. He needs better strategy before fighting Broner but would do rather well for 12 rounds even if loses on decision. Can’t see Broner stopping Gamboa because Gamboa has too much fundamentals going on.

Exactly my thoughts. 50 cent needs to move on past boxing, we don’t want him

50 a cornball

Gamboa is not that good. He may have been at the lower weight classes but at 130 he looked slow and he still is unable to take a very good punch. Him wanting Broner will only get him beat down unless he runs most the night. And what what that garbage 50 was doing. You are a promoter now, meaning you promote the fight, when fight day arrives you just sit and watch the fights. Terrible

Rust is expected after such a long layoff, the next fight will tell all.

The Akbar One

Gamboa’s mediocre punch resistance is part of what makes his fights exciting. He hits hard, but is also vulnerable.

Some of you need to stop with the china chin thing though. If he starts getting KO’d repeatedly, that would be true. The man is undefeated though, never knocked out. When he goes down, he gets back up and wins.

There is a lot of fun match ups coming up around in the 140’s. Gamboa will be in the mix. Broner and Gamboa would be fun to watch.

Gamboa looked like crap dropped to much weight he needs to fight at 135 or 140 in my opinion he’s to muscular to be dropping down to 130

Afer 15 months without action, facing a good boxer and now in 130 pounds, Gamboa is again in the game…you may give a knock-down to Gamboa, but nobody can beat him…tha’s why he is one the best…
