@furor the way u brits blindly follow whatever sky sports tells u im sure Floyd Khan could sell out Wembley a few times . They made u believe carl froch George groves was a superfight rofl

IF Brook beats Porter then he will have defied MY GREAT prediction. That means that he’s on his way to GOATNESS. I doubt that.

Posted August 15, 2014 11:27 am

“PBF has stated that he would like to fight in London so another Wembley mega fight could well be on the cards if he were to decide to take on Khan.”

Mick, if Brook beats Porter, maybe we’ll get to see a Mayweather/Brook matchup.

“PBF has stated that he would like to fight in London so another Wembley mega fight could well be on the cards if he were to decide to take on Khan.”

The general British public, even those who follow boxing, isn’t much interested in that fight, nor any other Khan fight. I seriously doubt it would sell out Wembley, though it’s possible that a lot of British Pakistanis would buy tickets.

Guerrero just had a super tough fight against an unknown assailant… And took 3 X as much punishment as Floyd ever gave him.

He looked like he was ready for Halloween.

Posted August 15, 2014 2:43 am

“Guerrero was #10 P4P going into the Floyd Fight and Floyd beat the P4P pedigree out of him”

Guerrero had no P4P pedigree to begin with. He was artificially elevated to top 10 P4P just to make sure he got the fight with Floyd. But even God had no faith in Robert and Floyd kicked his butt as expected.

@peej he did nt dodge Alexander . He signed a contract locking him In to a mayweatger . Haymon n mayweather told him not to take the fight n then they left him swinging in the wind . He then called out broner who hid behind his daddys haymon n Schaefer who said both fighters were moving in differant directions (that was it that was theyre expkanation for the fight not happening. Khan may have a porous defence but Khan doesn’t duck

Posted August 14, 2014 10:56 pm

NICE try on trying to keep UP with Boxing Auzbox but you fell short. Guerrero was #10 P4P going into the Floyd Fight and Floyd beat the P4P pedigree out of him. That can happen sometimes when you get baptized in TOO MUCH SKILLS.

How comes no mention of the Porter vs Brook winner? The Brook fight would be a big UK fight.

Posted August 14, 2014 7:38 pm

Fight Aficionado

Neither of these potential match ups is exciting other than you never know when Khan’s chin will implode. Alex would run around like a headless chicken and Guerrero would run face first into his punches.

Posted August 14, 2014 7:12 pm

Guerrero was never top 10 p4p in his life. Ring mag is where it’s at and he isn’t even rated in the top 25 on other orgs. Nice try boxtra he is a bum and Ortiz is worse

The only one that took a dive was Delahoya who fought a weight drained 157lb Hopkins and then went down from a little tummy tap squeeling like a stuck pick calling out for his mommy… it was shameful.. LOL

I always wondered why Tito took a dive against Hopkins? That was WACK!! He let his peeps down for money. Now he’s bum like the rest of them.. Word!

Furor – it was too obvious, Collazo has never had a fight where he did not throw counter shots.. yet vs Khan he decided to not punch back and then just stick out his Chin for Khan to hit.. you could tell Collazo was not happy doing this but it had to be done to please hayman..

@DaTruth Hurtzzz

Yeah man, true dat, but most peeps here is fraid of da truth.

Collazo took a dive just like Pacman did against Marquez and like Groves did against Froch.

Some biatches don’t even believe Tyson took a dive against Douglas man, so don’t waist your time on these dumasses!

Posted August 14, 2014 2:22 pm

Everyone knows Collazo took a dive vs Khan, once he signed with Hayman and then Hayman signed Khan you knew it was a matter of time before Collazo would get the word that he was not allowed beat Khan, just make him look good and then you’ll get your shot…

If Khan wants to earn his big-money fight against Mayweather he should be looking to fight the winner of Brook-Porter, Pacquiao, Bradley, Marquez, or Thurman. Even if he beats Guerrero or Alexander, he should still have to fight one of these others, and beat them, before he gets a shot at Mayweather.

Khan is an idiot, hes way down the list of deserving fights with pacquiao or floyd at this stage unless he bombs guererro or alexander out in 2/3 rounds with his speedy pitter patter combos which I very much doubt will happen.

Posted August 14, 2014 10:08 am

He glossed me!

Damn boxing is getting bad…the entire year in boxing was/is garbage…

Posted August 14, 2014 9:21 am

While I would like to see Khan avenge his loss to Garcia, it is nice to see him wanting to take on the winner of the Porter Vs. Brook match. That is a very tough fight for Amir Khan. Khan doesn’t even have to mention Floyd Mayweather. Demand for a Mayweather-Khan match will be created all by itself if Khan keeps beating the best opposition out there. Khan looked very sharp in his last fight and I am interested to see how he has continued to improve. While I don’t like his big mouh and personality, I respect him for continually be willing to fight the most dangerous opponents and always giving us entertaining fights.

The Truth.

One thing I know is, Virgil Hunter has listened to Freddie Roach and Roach’s warning is ”KEEP THAT PAKI GLASS JAW AWAY FROM HARD PUNCHERS”

Virgil Hunter has listened and will follow that script to the letter.

So boxing fans asking for a Khan v Porter, Khan v Thurman, either wants Khan to lose and be out of the scene or wants to see a chicken dance again.

Posted August 14, 2014 8:30 am

Khan could fight Tim Bradley… why isn’t that happening ?

Posted August 14, 2014 7:18 am

Freddie Roach Ate My Hamster

Guerrero isn’t a natural WW, he’s never convinced me that he’s above North American level at the weight. He got the FMJ fight because of the demographic of his fan base and achievement at lower weights, nobody thought he could win that fight. Floyd probably went to the gym afterwards to work up a sweat. If Khan can’t beat Guerrero convincingly he doesn’t stand a chance against a top WW.

Alexander is yesterday’s man too. He wouldn’t beat Porter or Thurman so Khan needs to prove he’s above Alexander if he’s to challenge any of the top guys. If Khan could take a punch he would be great, unfortunately for him he can’t, so his fights are usually just great to watch. Like Nigel Benn fights, you always got the feeling that someone was going to hit the canvas but never knew for sure who.

You sound like a frustrated angry cross dresser to me

Khan honestly called Alexander or Guerrero ‘a keep busy fight’. Illusions of grandeur indeed.

Ortiz became a CHAMP and Guerrero became Top 10 P4P. That’s what they DID. Khan has not accomplished EITHER at WW. And he’s not trying to….unless it earns him his BIGGEST Payday in his LIFE. IF he was serious about being the BEST he would first target other belt holders.

Posted August 13, 2014 11:28 pm

So sick of all this Kahn needs to beat this guy or that guy in order to prove he deserves a fight with Floyd….Besides beating Burto, what did Ortiz and Guerrero do to earn a fight….NOTHING…..ALVAREZ ?…are you saying beating Austin Trout and Cottos brother is what it takes to earn a fight with Floyd ? How about Maidana ? Oh he beat Broner…but lost to Kahn….Floyd himself picked Kahn as one of two fighters he wanted to fight so why now does everyone think Kahn needs to do more…..Floyd will never fight Kahn because Kahn is just to fast for him…period.

Posted August 13, 2014 11:21 pm

Guerrero and Alexander will both give Khan a rude awaking. Besides, the closest Khan will ever come to his dream fight against Floyd was that unsigned contract.

Posted August 13, 2014 10:07 pm

Guerrero is a former Top 10 P4Per and is a GOOD test for Khan. Guerrero is TOUGH to stop SO that means you’re getting the full 10 or 12 rounds. That’s GOOD for your Boxing SKILLS. Alexander has QUIT in him but went 12 with Porter SO that could be a GOOD litmus test to SEE where you are vs. where Porter IS. Either Fight is a NICE step UP from Collazo. Collazo was out GUNNED.

Posted August 13, 2014 10:06 pm

I find it hard to root for either Khan or Guerrero, but I’d like to see them fight. Perhaps for that very reason.

Posted August 13, 2014 9:36 pm

Are there two lighter hitting WWs out there? I’m surprised they didn’t mention Malignaggi as well

Posted August 13, 2014 8:42 pm

Ghetto Thug

This piece of sh!+ should avenge his loss to Danny Garcia instead of thinking he deserves a shot with either of the best 2 P4P

Boxing 101

Love the sport

I agree with you on Khan vs Guerrero
But I disagree on outcome.I think Guerrero would be able to connect on khans chin and rough him up through out the fight and grind out a win.

Posted August 13, 2014 7:47 pm

Khan wants a money fight against Mayweather or Manny, but he still won’t step up to the plate and fight a real threat to secure a ‘pole position’, Sorry Mr Khan but Guerrero and Alexander won’t do, not now. You should have fought them atleast 2 years ago.

Can’t fool the boxing fans for ever.

Posted August 13, 2014 7:21 pm

Khan vs. Guerrero is a good fight.

Khan vs. Alexander is a competitive fight … but not all that interesting.

I would think Khan would be favored against both guys because Guerrero will probably not be able to connect on Khan’s jaw clean and Alexander doesn’t have any power at 147.

So, I think Khan will finally get some big wins against good top fighters. Guerrero and Alexander are not great fighters — but it would be a good win for Khan against either of these guys.

I really Dislike khan.

Posted August 13, 2014 6:42 pm

KHAN would not fight Porter for all the tea in China and neither would he fight Brook…
Khan flaps his gums more than any WWE wrestle with the hyperbole that comes across as more hyper disorder.
Khan is always looking for the easiest option. He should have gatecrashed the Manny Pacquiao pressers and said he was ready, willing and able to face his former gym mate, instead of Algieri.
I doubt Khan fights any of the names on the list. They’ll wheel in a patsy with just enough name like Jan Zavec

Posted August 13, 2014 6:16 pm

Honestly I wish khan would just step up and fight Thurman . Khan defeats Thurman then he would put the whole welterweight division on notice.

Posted August 13, 2014 6:07 pm

Khan vs Guerrero would be a very good fight. Make it happen GBP

Posted August 13, 2014 6:06 pm

I think Alexander or Guerrero would be great, competitive fights for Khan, Maybe not the fights to leapfrog Porter or Thurman to the front of the Mayweather worthiness line, but nevertheless a win could still get his name in the hat. Plus Mayweather aside, it would still be his first accomplishment at 147 since he has claimed to be campaigning at the weight.

Posted August 13, 2014 6:03 pm

Jibber Jabber

Khan would beat both these guys. It seems like a treading water fight against a name in the hope of a May Day Pay Day. I’d like to see him prove himself against a Porter, Thurman. However I gues when Mayweather Jr is fighting his left overs he has plenty of reason to shout “what about me”. Unfortunately his chin can answer why he isn’t getting a shot.

if deluded self worth & importance was a championship amir khan would be the undefeated undisputed p4p no1 ever!!!
