Tark is a tool, calling fighters coward. Go back inside your box you tool

Why not??? … Fans have to keep pointing out that Floyd is out there cherry-picking non-boxers like Guerrero… Ortiz… Maidana… and Khan. When he should be fighting skilled guys like Lara… Porter… Thurman… and Pacquiao.

Stevenson is doing the same thing and why not??? If they let Floyd get away with blowing off his toughest opponents why wouldn’t everybody do it???

Tark, Kovalev has only recently became a player. Stevenson has been on the scene waiting for his chance for a long time you can’t blame him for taking his big contract. You need to get over your Mayweather obsession though because you can’t keep bringing him into every thread you comment on.

Stevenson is as big a coward as Mayweather… He won’t fight Kovalev because he thinks he has a good chance of being knocked out.

You have to blame the boxer. He has the final say on who he fights, no one else!

What City do you live in?

Bla bla bla, excuses, excuses, excuses. Adonis is sacred of Kovelev and is a girly man for hiding behind-the-scenes and his dada AL Hidemen.
It is what it is, this isn’t a MSNBC audience, where folks can be told lies and herded like low information sheep into believing what payed liars are told to say.

Adonis is avoiding Kovelev and we all know it, even thou some refuse to admitt it, even they know it’s a fact.

Fight Aficionado

Stevenson joins Hymen stable and immediately ducks out of an already-made Superfight in which he’d be the underdog, and would get his head knocked off. It would be hilarious if he lost to Fonfara but unfortunately it’s an easy night’s work.

drunk pom – your right I would. im not a fighter

Stevenson said the fans are a bunch of chumps that will pay to watch him fight anybody.

Arreola has been called a nipple by fans, so who cares?

Arreola said Stevenson was a vagina.

No fighter pleases the fans all the time. I don’t think Syevenson is a great fighter, but I won’t get down on him for his past. He’s a fighter now and one of the best, that’s all that counts today. None of us know what led him to do the wrongs he did in the past. None of us were on his shoes. As for not fighting Kolalev yet, Stevenson made the best business decision. A win against Kovalev would have been a great, but a loss could have curtailed his career. Showtime gave him a win/ win situation. Good for him.

Stevenson’s a decent fighter/brawler. Plenty of power and decent skills. He has made a name so far by winning impressively against so-so opponents, but he needs to stay relevant by taking on stiffer competition. The Al Haymon/Floyd Mayweather school of ducking, isn’t going to help Stevensons career… Or it might… look what it’s doing for Floyd…..

This fight is a “WHO-CARES” fight. A few more of these and no one will care about Stevenson.

i heard “superman” is training for this fight by sending his girls out on the street and when they comeback without much money he beats them up thats how the piece of *&!# has been training

Boxing Barlow

the Light heavy weight division is a good expample of everything thats wrong in boxing these day. We all want to see Steveson V Kovalev but I wouldnt be suprised if it never happened.

Kovalev put it right. Stevenson is a piece of sh*t. Not even the balls to mention Kovalev name after being insulted on TV.

Posted May 23, 2014 4:25 am

Agree with you all.

Posted May 23, 2014 3:44 am

it’s such a shame, I was looking forward to seeing kovalev beat the stuffing out of Stevenson. I’m not usually one to harp on about ‘ducking’, but this is such a shameless and disgraceful duck that I hope Stevenson leaves the sport soon. I just can’t even look at him without getting peeved. what a girls blouse

How people can support this horrible human being is beyond me.

Karpency was beating fonfara

Posted May 23, 2014 1:50 am

Stevenson Ko fonfara anytime before the 5th round

Posted May 23, 2014 1:49 am

Just another mismatch, don’t bother to watch it……………..Stevenson ran to Showtime because he was afraid to fight Kovalev……………..the networks and promoters make fun of boxing fans, they know they can get by with crap fights not worth watching…………

That goes to show how fickle fans are. If they don’t get exactly what they want from a fighter he’s considered a scared chump. If he does exactly as the fans wish and gets beat completely out of the sport, fans will give him praise for being a true warrior, but they’ll also judge his broke desalate arse, as he wallows in the lowest of places without a penny to his name and no skills to dig himself out of that hole. In that way boxing is one of the most thankless and unforging sports… Hopefully, Stevenson knows this and prevents that typical thing from happening to him….

Stevenson by Height and Reach negating stoppage.

Posted May 23, 2014 1:01 am

GREAT. This is yet another Fight where the AMATEURS will be taught that Height and reach are not the factors. SKILLS ARE.
