fight on

Mariana wins Molina win colazzo wins

Posted April 24, 2014 7:40 pm

Broner needs an impressive showing in this fight to keep his credibility, I personally think he should have gone after Maidana and try to avenge his loss. If, for whatever reason, Molina wins, Broner’s career will be in deep decline. Look what happened to Austin Trout after his losses, NO ONE hears anything about him anymore… SAD .. In many ways the FIGHT game is cruel ….… The Language of the Ring”

It should have been Kahn vs Broner, Thurman vs Collazo on the under card.

Posted March 28, 2014 2:52 pm

Collazo and Khan will be a good fight, as well as Love/Periban. The fight that surprises me is Broner/Molina. I didn’t see that one coming because I can’t remember the last time Molina fought at 147, unless of course Broner moves up to 154, which I seriously doubt.

Is Ashley Theophane on this PPV? If not, why not? He is far more deserving than some I can mention. I hope they can find a spot for Treasure.

Fraud May

Should have been Broner vs Khan and Collazo vs Molina. Who set up those fights? FAIL>

“what’s up with J’Leon Love getting the payday, the dude is a proven drug cheat. GTFO”. he’s American. they’re never out of contention no matter how often they lose (Judah); they’re jail time is postponed to accommodate their fight-schedule (Mayweather); and just look at how Mosley was never held accountable by official or public opinion after having admitted before a grand jury that he juiced for his rematch v. DLH and who knows how many other bouts before and after.

guy below said this is better than canelo vs angulo.

i disagree. there is not a single fight on this card that has the anticipation canelo vs angulo had and for me personally like watching canelo and angulo fight more than anyone on this card.

canelo vs angulo had much more intrigue. canelos stamina mixed with angulos power and relentlessness which faired well against lara a potential future opponent of canelo. so canelo and lara shared common opponent angulo. to me the pre fight intrigue of canelo vs angulo blows all the pre fight intrigue of this entire card out of the water

Well this confirms it, we’re not buying the PPV. Not interested in any of these fights. And what’s up with J’Leon Love getting the payday, the dude is a proven drug cheat. GTFO.

This better than watching pac man fight the same old fighter’s over and over at least Floyd is fighting champs and guys he hasn’t fought before and Floyd can’t fight ggg to much weight stupid ggg should be fight ward come on ppl stop it

Posted March 26, 2014 1:17 pm

“Not the greatest card but still better than any Top Rank Card.”

Not “any.” Some, maybe.

“For a PPV this undercard reeks to high Heaven. This stuff is beginning to smell like rotten fish.”

Exactly my point, Kid Blast.

“in what many are calling the best top-to-bottom pay-per-view boxing event in many years”

Uh, huh. Who’s the “many?” Al Haymon, Richard Schaefer, and Steve Espinoza?

Posted March 26, 2014 11:06 am

Broners chin is suspect. Marcos exposed his chin. Look who fights when stepping up. Paulie and Carlos don’t have 10 ko’s between them. Molina will beat Adrian anyway if he does fight. He just got arrested and I think that’s why they made this fight. Carlos won’t fight and they’ll replace him with a can. That way it don’t look like broner took an easy fight

He has a title. Funny how haters are constantly complaining that Floyd has not unified the division even though it was once unified and then when he does take on a title holder he is cherry picking or fighting a C level fighter. Maidana is the 2nd best deserving fighter at 147 behind Bradley who is fighting Pac in a rematch and has resigned with Top Rank pretty much making a fight with Floyd impossible.

Posted March 26, 2014 10:30 am

GARBAGE fight. How can they keep on fooling a lot of people? Maidana-Mayweather is a circus. Zero risk. Maidana is C fighter.

Posted March 26, 2014 10:05 am

garbage card and fights. mayweather circus rolls on!

Posted March 26, 2014 9:56 am

I am certainly going for Collazo. Hoping he wins by KO

Posted March 26, 2014 9:41 am

These are all great fights.. Much better than that Canelo PPV crap.

Posted March 26, 2014 9:34 am

I would LOVE to see Maidana, Molina, Collazo and Periban ALL win but.. the truth is that I believe they’ll ALL lose. We might be giving Collazo’s too much credit for his win over “Vicious” Vic. He’s the naturally bigger man and has the pop to clock Khan any time, but he’ll have to score a KO too win, and Khan plan will be to avoid unnecessary contact and speed & box his way to win. Periban is one tough hombre but his defense, or lack of, will be too much of a liability, besides that fact that he might have to win SIX clear rounds to win anyway. Molina?? hmmm.. Well, he hasn’t proved that he has the skills to win a this level nor does he have enough power to make the difference. Maidana will have to throw about “2,000” punches to hang and make things as uncomfortable as possible to win a few rounds, but won’t win. His output, grit & power was enough to take the play from Broner but Floyd isn’t Broner. Can/will Floyd hurt Maidana like Alexander did?? After all, Maidana will ‘be there’, in Floyd’s face. And Floyd isn’t as mobile as he once was.

Posted March 26, 2014 2:15 am

Broner will be protected by GBP. His loss to Maidana was not in their plans because they thought Maidana was too slow to bother Broner. Norwalk boxer better be at his best to at least give Broner some major headaches.

Golden boy was not ready to give broner his second loss and lose out on the money that this hype job produces so instead of b fighter khan they give him the not so Molina lol my picks are mayweather, collazo, periban, and dummy

Posted March 25, 2014 11:15 pm

Floyd’s issue

My prediction, Khan will lose, Broner may lose and Mayweather may lose by KO. That sun of a butch has been ready for a while. The man Maidana, pronunciation is on man (in comparison to Mayweatherm who I do not see as a man except for his genetics), is the right guy to make it happen unless the referee interferes all the time, which might be the case in a corrupt sport. I hope Maidana wins and becomes a national hero, and Mayweather eventually disappears. L’Leon Love vs. Marco Antonio Periban, who cares…

Posted March 25, 2014 11:11 pm

The Mad Scientist

I think Periban may shock Love and Callazo is putting Khan on bambi legs..Mayweather and Broner fights are foregone conclusions

Posted March 25, 2014 9:57 pm

Molina is not an easy fight. Skill wise he is better than Maidana. Broner may be in for another surprise.
