lol you are ignorant. Stop pretending to know anything about the sport.
brown bomber you’re an idiot… How many times was Ali beaten??? 5 times… Once by 196-pound Leon Stinks who was 6-0-1 at the time… Ali took too many head shots.
Look for Khan to take too many as well… Brook will murder Khan if they ever fight… Khan is scared stiff of Brook.Posted March 9, 2014 6:43 pm
khan and brook are c level if that.Posted March 9, 2014 2:13 pm
Khan another Ali…….like I suspected you are on crack lol
Hopefully this year we will see how much “skills” your man brook has.Posted March 9, 2014 7:32 am
Khan has speed… Khan doesn’t have championship caliber skills — especially on defense… Left hooks rip his head off.
He’s another Muhammad Ali and will end up the same way.Posted March 9, 2014 2:55 am
If you don’t prove you are good how the hell will you know you are good, ward done the business in the ring, brook ain’t done nothing.
Brook could be good Il give you that but till now he has fought bums and proven nothing, he went life and death with Carson, if khan had brooks résumé you would say he is a bum.Posted March 9, 2014 12:40 am
You don’t have to prove you are good to be good… That’s what I said and I used Ward-Kessler as a good example.
Ward had never beaten anybody. Neither did Kessler but the assumption was made that he did so he was a big fav.
Ward won easily because he was the better boxer. He wouldn’t have gotten the shot if there hadn’t been a “Super Six.” … Brook doesn’t have a Super Six but Khan could easily make 5 million dollars by fighting Brook.
He won’t because he knows he’d get knocked cold.Posted March 8, 2014 9:41 pm
no fighter is scared of brook, khan ain’t world class or anything but he sure as hell ain’t scared of brook. Brook turned down a fight with Bradley, and the $5 million was no official offer it was just talk and hype. Brook is just another protected British fighter.Posted March 8, 2014 7:06 pm
Who has Brook beat??? Who did Ward beat before he fought Mikkel Kessler and beat the trash out of him???
You don’t have to fight anybody to prove you’re good. The proof is the guys running from you. Brook has skills. He stopped a former world champion in his last fight. The guy who took Hatton out with a liver shot … a couple dominating rounds and the fight was over.
Hearn offered Khan 5 million to fight Brook… Not happening.Posted March 8, 2014 6:13 pm
And Slim Just Left Town
Man, that Virgel Hunter is a mean, malevolent looking dude!Posted March 8, 2014 3:57 pm
ok then who has brook beat? You cant use one logic for collazo and another for someone you fancy. Keep it real.Posted March 8, 2014 3:53 pm
nobody is awarding defenses. and bred “thats why they call it self defense” lol. that line was a bit dense. how about thats why they call it “fighting”.
i think i described everything nicely below. floyd essentially fights the clock and runs the clock out. i also note that for most of the history of boxing or any fighting there was no time limit/ round limit. floyd simply could not run out the clock have low action and win if there was not a time limit. thats what fighting is about action and stoppages and thats why at ultimate “fight” club they get paid bonuses for best fight and best ko etc. floyd specializes in NON FIGHTING, non engaging, low action, riding a clock out ti a decision. generally its against weaker comp as wellPosted March 8, 2014 3:48 pm
What makes Floyd so great is his speed counter punching and his defense. The sweet science people who don’t know boxing call it running but he has proved he can stand right in the pocket and still not let landed on and slip combinations like he did with Cotto and Canelo. His best offense is defense and he is able to make adjustments on the fly to neutralize what the other guy is doing he hates a good jabber because it offsets his rhythm like Oscar was doing him so he goes to the body and made him stop throwing it Floyd is a master tactician and he knows what you going to do before hand. In order to beat a chess player you have to be one. Sugar Ray Robinson would have beat him but no one else from this era not even Manny he wouldn’t stand a chance all the power and speed in the world means nothing if you not landing all night and getting countered.Posted March 8, 2014 1:10 pm
Miadana is much more impressive than Kahn, He just came off a big win over Broner no this was the better logical fight for Floyd. Kahn needs to prove he is worthy fatten the calf for the kill so to speak. Fight on the undercard win impressively and get your shot. Floyd will fight Danny Garcia in the near future as well All of his next bouts would be big. Since egos have not been able to be pushed aside for the Manny fight. Floyd is still the one calling all the shots in boxing…Posted March 8, 2014 12:06 pm
Simple solution for Khan to qualify for a shot at Floyd or Bradley. Why ddoes he not call out and face the No.1 ranked contender in the WBC at 147 or WBO or the No. 1 in the IBF?
This way he will force through a fight like that whining b8tch Groves did, with Showtime Porter or have greater leverage against the big boys, Mayweather, Bradley or Pac.
In face, why not Khan face Marquez. I remeber how a few years ago Khan called out Marquez and said he would give him a real bad boy whooping.
Khan vs Marquez.
Make it happen!Posted March 8, 2014 8:31 am
“Brook would knock Collazo or Khan out cold.”
Brook won’t knock Khan out.Posted March 8, 2014 3:29 am
brown bomber…. You’re nuts… Collazo hasn’t beaten anybody except a bum who been stopped 3 times in a row … Brook would knock Collazo or Khan out cold.
I’ll put my money down anytime those fights are made.
Same thing with Thurman or Porter… If those guys are ever matched with Khan or Collazo they will score devastating KO wins over the pair.
Collazo and Khan should fight… That’s the 2nd tier bracket.Posted March 8, 2014 3:05 am
“His chances of beating that caliber of fighter are between slim and zero.” & slim just left town…”

yeah that was me dude. but i make it known what i dlislike about floyd below too. boxing to me is somethig different than lack of action, goin the distance running the clock out and coasting to a decision. also for most of history in a fight game people fought til there was a winner. not til the clock runs out giving it to the judges. the objective if fighting is to not let it go to the judges. not barely fight and run the clock out. the later isfloyd. fightig has never been about defense and to a fight fan it aint about defensePosted March 8, 2014 1:42 am
Holy sheet, Bears kind of gave Floyd some props. What that realy Bears?Posted March 8, 2014 12:53 am
Seriously are you on crack bro? how the hell on gods green earth is brook a higher caliber opponent than collazo? how many quality opponents has brook ever faced? Even porter and thurman have yet to prove they are higher caliber than collazo.Posted March 7, 2014 10:48 pm

LMAO! Don’t you Mayweather haters ever get tired. SMHPosted March 7, 2014 9:20 pm
in the deffensive game mayweather is the best. and thats good for him. its worked for him and he has gotten recognition for being the best. i wish i could appreciate it more than i come off sometimes. floyd has been effective with his style against the fighters he has chosen to fight. one begins to think floyd has a strategy in who he picks to fight and calling it a “strategy” is being nice about itPosted March 7, 2014 8:05 pm
MMA is extreme combat sports and Mayweather is extreme boring boxing sport.Posted March 7, 2014 6:47 pm
Hopkins and Mayweather they have similar style. Jab hug, jab run. That’s what you call preserving oneself! A contact sports who avoid contact. It’s don’t trade and don’t get hit hard shots but make sure you tap the opponent more than he tap you. Hopkins is pass 50 years old so I’m guessing Floyd can fight for a long time. I say a good 15 years before he retire.Posted March 7, 2014 6:45 pm

Lil floyd’s has gradually lowered expectations for his opponents over the last half decade. Con just has to play the game. Con fits the bill in 2 of the 3 conditions lil floyd has. Con has some exposure & he is vulnerable. The last condition is to string together a single high profile win. Mosley did it. Cotto did it. Guerrero did it. Maidana did it. Big Red did it. Con wanted to skip the 3 step because he has a twitter account. It almost worked.Posted March 7, 2014 6:11 pm

I don’t know why Khan has this obsession with Floyd
I used to watch UFC in its early years but now I cant get myself pumped up to watch them. MMA is mostly grappling on the ground. 70%. its boring to watch them wrestling and tossing around on the floors. Boxing is standing up and fighting, even Floyd’s fights are more intresting compared to MMA. Thats why most boxers end up making MORE money than MMA fighters combined.Posted March 7, 2014 4:41 pm
im more of a boxing fan but mma is most definitely got its warriors and they incorporate boxing in mma. im a fight fan. be it boxing or mma there are a lot more entertaining mma fights than entertaining floyd fights imo
as i explain below floyd fights the clock to a decision. its not very entertaining. its lackingPosted March 7, 2014 4:32 pm
Floyd really fought in the Cotto fight.
He tried to get Miguel out of there. He couldn’t do it, but it was entertaining to see him mounting an offense and taking a few shots.Posted March 7, 2014 4:30 pm
Boxing is a science not a street fight. If you like cauliflower ears try MMA. If you like wrecked shins or knees try MMA. If you like eye pokes try MMA. If you like the fans booing for boxing a round, or for waiting for your opponent to do something, try MMA.
If you want to be fair in 5 martial arts try MMA. If you want to master one martial art try Boxing.Posted March 7, 2014 4:21 pm

Jon Jones and Anderson Silva did well. Not as well as Floyd.
MMA is not on the same level as Boxing. You don’t see major celebrities buying up tons of $8000.00 ringside tickets.Posted March 7, 2014 4:07 pm
*never be a successful mayweather TYPE in the ufcPosted March 7, 2014 3:42 pm
for example there wojld never be a successful mayweather tyoe in the ufc because them guys are fight fans. they give awards out for best fights and knockouts not best lackluster performance using up the time and coasting to a decision. the ufc kind of shows the culture of a fightfan. and embraces what a fight is about. it aint about what floyd does. a floyd type can not exist in mma. its sad the tyoe exists in boxing. its an anti warrior type im not a fan of. he calls himself the best. yeah maybe at running and anti action anti fighting behavior in the ring. the best anti warriorPosted March 7, 2014 3:41 pm
mayweather defeats the clock better than he defeats his opponents and the quality if his opponents is generally weak. instead of talking pacman, bradley, mathyse or garcia. dudes fighting ortiz, gueero, maidana, and kahn. wont consider the best fights at 154 and weighing 154 though he swears up and down he will. dudes a fraud and an eye soar in the ring. i wanna watch someone knock the clock out, and go 12 rounds to a lackluster decision. frauds my guy to watch. unfortuanetly i never let my eyes watch garbage. just a personal thing ya know? lolPosted March 7, 2014 3:27 pm
using “like” a lot is more “valley girl” than it is american. r u emulating woman? u wanna be a woman? your being “like” one. lolPosted March 7, 2014 3:22 pm
GBP fighters is being feed to Floyd the dog Mayweather. GBP will be bankrupt soon. This mega fight will flop!
Ah, NO. They have a Swiss Banker running the show who has taken GBP to the top.
however, if there is a downside the Swiss banker it is that he needs to learn how to rip off his fighters like American Promoter/Managers like Bob Arum.
*this fight is closer to ppv worthy than fraud may vs maidana if u ask me.
these people talk about deffense and not getting hit bein the objective well actually i would like to say something.
for the majority of the life of the sport of boxing fights were not limited to 12 rounds. you fought til there was a winner and running around was just gonna waste energy. now floyd makes a living in on low action, anticlimatic, running in the ring. its really not what fighting has ever been about. fighting has been about fighting. im all for going back to fighting til there is a winner. if anything mayweather has made boxing look weaker and limited and has taken full advantage of running out the time limits and goin to the judges. mayweather is not a very entertaining “fighter” to me. he does not really “fight” much in his bouts if you ask mePosted March 7, 2014 3:15 pm
Floyd will lose half of his purse in gambling. Then he will price his fights and gamble some more. I’m not supporting his vice!Posted March 7, 2014 3:04 pm
hey teflon….from the looks of your post, it appears that books on the English language don’t stick to you eitherPosted March 7, 2014 3:02 pm
Havoc you are a biiootch I understand you a hater but GBP is running boxing right now they roster beats everyone going bankrupt? Hell they had all the biggest fights for the last 5+ years and going. Who else is out there top rank? lol Hell Don King is even not existed. Floyd is the biggest star in the sport and he is signed with GB not to mention Garcia, Canelo and the rest of the up and coming fighter. Manny and Top rape is done hell the Bradley fight wont even crack 1 million ppvs. Numbers don’t lie moron…Posted March 7, 2014 2:43 pm
Fraud may: I hope so.Posted March 7, 2014 2:39 pm
Hopefully Hunter is wrong. Amir is too weak to fight welterweight as well as lacking adequate power.Posted March 7, 2014 2:31 pm
Havoc- GBP get their cut. Mayweather lays down his price to fight but GBP still gets paid and their fighters also get their biggest paychecks of their career with GBP. They have alot of good fighters in their stable. More than TopRank.Posted March 7, 2014 2:26 pm
Fraud may: with all the money Floyd is getting and fights will sell less it will not be a surprise GBP will lose money. They are the financier and producer of this fight! Watch and see!Posted March 7, 2014 2:21 pm
@ Tark- I hope Khan/Mayweather never happens.Posted March 7, 2014 2:17 pm
I don’t see Mayweather vs Khan ever happening.
Collazo is easier than Broner. Luis fought only 6 times in the last 5 years and beat nobody important. But if Hunter can get Khan a Floyd fight off of beating Collazo??? I’d be amazed.
And nobody wants to see Mayweather vs Khan
Collazo caught the super hittable Victor Ortiz with a right hook—so he might catch Khan, who is maybe 10% better at defense than VO. All you have to do is keep swinging and you WILL catch Khan if you’re any kind of a puncher.
Now Floyd wanted to fight Khan but was too embarrassed to face that caliber of fighter. I don’t see that changing—even if Khan manages to beat Collazo. What I really think is he’ll end up fighting and probably beating Malignaggi again. That’s not the kind of opponent who could get him a Floyd fight … and neither is Collazo.
Khan needs to beat Brook, Porter, Thurman, Bradley, Matthysse, or Garcia to get a Floyd fight. His chances of beating that caliber of fighter are between slim and zero.Posted March 7, 2014 2:09 pm
* You make no sense, if anything thats why many fighters are flocking to join GBP because they would get MORE opportunities to fight either Mayweather or other great fighters. Making GBP a lucrative buisness. Please, just do us a favor and shoot yourself for that comment.Posted March 7, 2014 2:09 pm
GBP fighters is being feed to Floyd the dog Mayweather. GBP will be bankrupt soon. This mega fight will flop!Posted March 7, 2014 2:01 pm
Line em up. Broner can beat Khan so Collaso with less that 50% KO wins is a sure bet to have khan not get KO. Mayweather vs. Khan next after Maidana. Who wants to watch this crap?Posted March 7, 2014 1:56 pm
Virgil looks drunk in that picturePosted March 7, 2014 1:55 pm

Khan can’t even take a tune up fight without worrying about getting knocked out. That just shows where he is. Khan was finished in 2011. He is a washed up bum trying to sneak his way into a retirement pay day against Floyd. Can everyone just forget about this clown and move on?Posted March 7, 2014 1:37 pm

Kahn is a c lever fighter at best, Virgil know good and dam well he stand no chance against Floyd. Kahn has been dropped before and his chin is suspect. Ok he has speed but it takes a hell of a lot more then speed to beat Floyd. And Kahn will be a appetizer he is not even a main course.Posted March 7, 2014 1:10 pm
Khan fighting Floyd is dumb. How can he handle a guy a division heavier at the very to of the food chain? Going into his late twenties let’s see how he handles crafty fighters a little bigger with a nice fan base – say Paulie Malignaggi in Brooklyn!Posted March 7, 2014 1:08 pm
If it comes down this way;
not really an attractive undercard. Guess fans will have to
live with it.Posted March 7, 2014 12:34 pm
Amir is in a tight spot, he can’t even take what other elite fighters would consider a warm-up fight without a severe danger of getting knocked unconscious.
