” Heavyweight destroyer ” , Tyson Fury ? Who writes this crap ? Oh, it’s just his promotion company ; Queensberry Promotions , no wonder !

FA…, “Fury has since called out Wilder repeatedly and Wilder has gone silent for months.”

Wilder immediately answered Fury’s challenge to fight, saying, “Let do it.” … Then Fury said, “I’ll never fight again.. I’m 1000% retired.”

wilder, fury scared of browne, wlad scared of pulev. HW boxing 2014, leapai is fighting wlad.

What percentage of heavyweight fights actually get to the ring as scheduled? Promoters announce these fights long in advance, but anything that can go wrong usually does and we get last minute substitutes. We’ve seen some great fights announced; Chisora-Wilder, Fury-Haye, etc., but they don’t often pan out. I know things happen, but I no longer get excited about a heavyweight fight until the day of the fight.

Fury is possibly a joke. Wilder is a joke and wlad facing mormeck, pianetta and now leapai is definitely a joke. The HW division is a comedy festival.

Tyson Fury and his cousin Hughie Fury will probably take over after the Klitschko Brothers. Hughie is only 19 years old, but he would knock Wilder out. Wilder refused to fight Chisora and Thompson. Wilder refused to fight Fury as well. Chisora knocked Scott out, so Wilder finally got up the nerve to fight Scott since Scott’s chin is not so good and Scott punches like a featherweight. Vlad beat Wilder from one side of the ring to the other, knocked Wilder down with a jab while sparring for the Wach fight. Wach is better than Wilder, Wach was 6 feet 8 inches tall, 250 lbs. and I read he was on steroids………….Haye also beat the crap out of Wilder is sparring, Wilder looked like a drunk. I am so tired of all the bias against Klitschkos, Tyson, Hughie, Pulev, etc.

This guy looks good for his age. I still remember him from Moonraker.

Harry- Take a look and who “wrote” this article. They are just doing there job. Look at something before you read it and you may save yourself some aggravation.

BoxtraDork is wrong as always. Wilder pretended to call out Fury when Haye pulled out of their fight. Fury has since called out Wilder repeatedly and Wilder has gone silent for months. Wilder’s faced nobody, Fury’s faced top 10 contenders.

This is a horrible fight… It’s like Ali fighting Jean Pierre Coopman.. It’s worse than a joke.. Fury wouldn’t hire Abell for a sparring partner if he was fighting Wladimir or Haye.. OK the guy was a late sub and got a title fight.. They needed somebody one 4 hours notice and Abell was willing to get knocked out for money.

Harry, why are you relating punching power to boxing ability? It’s possible, even normal, to be “dynamite fisted” and still suck and lose to anyone good.

a teenage boy watching her crossing and uncrossing her legs, I mean…

Posted February 5, 2014 5:49 pm

Joey’s going to be watching and re-watching Cunningham’s overhand right against Fury like a teenager who’s just discovered Sharon Stone crossing and her legs in Basic Instinct on Youtube.

Move along. Nothing to see here.

Whatever. I’m still mad we got to see Fury’s fights for free on NBC Sports and now all the sudden they’re dumping him on PPV. Hopefully that will change for his next fight once they realize only 12 drunk yanks buy it.

The “Dynamite Fisted”??? They’re doing everything they can to pump Tyson’s fight, they bigged up the Argentinean attempting to make out he was a viable opponent and now they call Joey Abell dynamite fisted. A guy that has been completely outclassed every time he’s stepped up from mediocre opposition. These writers lose all credibility when they make such statements. Pathetic.

Joey Abell is probably a little better than the original opponent Basile…but not by much. He loses to anyone good, but the likes of Joey Abell keep the sport going, so fair play to him. Fury can stop him inside 3 or 4 rounds.

Posted February 5, 2014 1:33 pm

This is actually a risky proposition…..
Abell is a LOT like Mike Mollo in that he’s going to try to punch Tyson’s head off his shoulders for 5-6 rds until he can’t raise his arms any longer.

Fury’s really gonna have to work on his defense and holding leading up to this one, or it could be lights out. Abell doesnt exactly have a solid chin himself, but he’s throwing that lead L hand from L feild……Tyson’s gonna have to stay on the balls of his feet.

John Doe

That’s the right attitude of a future heavyweight champion. Welcome all challengers and don’t cherry picked opponents. Abel is a good heavyweight who has a good resume but 2014 will be tyson fury’s impact year. Fist of fury will reign supreme!

joey abell to get ko’ed again. i’d hate to be joey abell. go tyson phoey get some joey abell.
