Steve’s da man !

Steve Smoger is a fantastic lip locker !

M. Mendoza

Salido came back after 11 losses and now has a belt. Sorry-poorly brained IQ Mexicans always picking on PR boxers just like they pick on Martinez on account of Chavez Jr. De Marco suffered a humilliating loss against the late Valero (RIP) and NONE of the media gave it more than 3 sentences if even that. Both Orlandito Del Valle and Escalera are very green and inexperienced and were way over their head skills-wise but they kept fighting anyway — like true PR warriors. Oh yeah, let me not forget that only Mexican boxers get credit win or lose. PR boxers are ostracized — business as usual — why should it be any different?

@ Luke…truth hurts don’t it mofo!! PR is done !!

I don’t know Joe. At least B-Hop is somewhat discreet, Darchiyan’s moves come across as blatantly obvious.

LUKE, ignorance is responding to a post i never made. in fact, who knows WTF you’re babbling about?!?

Posted September 30, 2012 8:42 pm

What did DiBella and Slobamba’s people think they would ever get out of Escalara?? He was so, so raw! Looked like two left feet and a PE flunky. Better work to be done on the bag. Must be they don’t have much confidence in him??

Posted September 30, 2012 7:30 pm

Te gumbo — you r so ignorant, biased and full of hatred — fighters that are good for boxing is what matters most, regardless of where they come from…Mexico, PR, or Timbucktwo — I’ve met Del Valle recently and talked to him at length, and I can assure you, you won’t find a more humble, respectful and decent young man! And, last night he was very gracious in defeat. It wasn’t his corner that was doing the fighting! Some people’s ignorance never ceases to amaze!

Rodriguez pulled a Chavez Chicken Jr. 20+lb weight Gain Dirty Trick against a kid with only 16 fights.. Rodriguez needs to take on Cruiserweights like Palacios and WZlorick.. same goes for Chicken Jr… LOL

Steve Smoger kiss me

Smoger kiss me like you kissed Escalera please !!! I need your lips on mine !!!! :)

Patrick —- Dar is dirty but no one I mean no one is as dirty as B – Hop. Hopper will go down as the dirtiest fighter of all time !

Posted September 30, 2012 7:02 pm

PR Boxing is never or even close to being over remember we have most champs than anyone and first papa mexicans just get there corny records by fighting rodeo clowns or cheat

Posted September 30, 2012 4:44 pm

Darchiyan is one dirty fighter! Running in with his head, throwing “elblows” [with his elbows], using his shoulders… I was waiting for him to start kicking with his feet. He makes B-Hop look as innocent as a choir boy. Made me feel bad for his young opponent because I think the kid could have gotten him out of there in the 11th if he hadn’t taken so much punishment with all dirty tactics being used against him.

Posted September 30, 2012 2:59 pm

Rodriguez is talented but uneven in his fighting style… In a way that’s a good thing, but I’m not sure it’s going to help him when facing the elites… Darchinyan did have some difficulty in there near the end but he did box better and used his jab more. It just doesn’t appear he has the same power he had at the lower weights.. but it’s still pretty formidable at 122.

big head

i like to see rodriquez fight thomas oosthuizen that be hell of a matchup both sign with debilla or rodriquez fight sakio bika

Posted September 30, 2012 1:43 pm

Rodriquez is talented (has a nice arsenal of punches), but he sure does get hit a lot. I think his problem is, to paraphrase Teddy Atlas, ‘he likes to stand there and admire his work, instead of sticking and moving.’ Rodriquez could have made last night’s fight much easier and he could have ended it much quicker.

it was fun watching the rest of the world and not just Mexico beat up on PR for a change. now they can also experience the satisfactiion of silencing an obnoxious and loudmouthed PR corner. i’ve been posting for at least a year now, PR boxing is DONE. there are no up-and-coming PR boxers any more. just uppity ones. PR is down to the ringworn Cotto who has been desperately avoiding Alvarez while assuming gatekeeper duties at 154lbs. the promotional “rivalry v. Mexico is just a memory and what Mexico began Canada, Armenia, and the Dominican Republic are mopping-up . . . “canta y no lloren . . . ”

Rodriquez stops Escalera and edges closer to the top; Darchiyan’s experience too much for Del Valle
