lol Brother R0b0-H@mster.. This mod who keeps deleting my posts is in for a very rude awakening by dawn. My spies have discovered his identity and location and I’ve sent a venue of 150 lappet faced vultures to peck out his eyes and vomit in the empty sockets and a pair of my most fearsome king vultures to go to work on his genitalia. lol

Let’s see how many millions Deontay Wilder makes as a professional boxer.

Compared to some of those clowns who beat him in the amateurs.

Posted November 1, 2013 7:39 pm

Yep Asian Barry Gibb, these mods are an absolute bunch of (censored) licking (censored) felching (censored).

Posted November 1, 2013 4:56 pm

This will be an interesting challenge for Deontay. He is finally fighting someone who can take a punch, and deliver one. His boxing skills will definitely be tested here. Next: the tub of lard called arreola.

Posted October 31, 2013 12:02 pm

Nice point Tark. Still Deontay has not went against many punchers be interesting to see what happens when he goes against one who has decent defense and can take a few on the chin.

Lil Wayne’s soggy wet patch

Wilder ain’t nothin. All legs and arms and head. Sheeet I could take him.

dustin nichols is a fat bartender than put wilder down like the sick animal that he is. stiverne will put this yard ape into a coma.

Posted October 31, 2013 1:23 am

I think you are being a little harsh on paper mache there – that stuff can set pretty hard.

Of all the types of paper I`d have to compare Wilders chin most closely with the used tissue paper under a teenagers bed.

Posted October 30, 2013 11:30 pm

The Asian Barry Gibb

Deonotonay got rocked to his boots everytime that Russian leprechaun landed a half decent cuffing shot anywhere near his paper mache mandible. Even the breeze of his punches had Deonotonay’s brain sending signals to his legs telling them to prepare themselves for some impending chicken dancing. He was dropped on his ass by a boxer with the Christian name Harold earlier on in his career too for goodness sake! When was the last time you ever heard of a boxer named Harold who could fight a lick? That’s like getting beaten up by your grandfather. lol

He also got floored by a 400 lb jumbo sized bag of whale blubber named Dustin Nichols a few fights before that fight too. Nichols looked like something out freak show. He was literally a walking blob. His record is 4-9, all of his loses coming via way of early KO, and every single one of the four stiffs they somehow managed to find that he was capable of beating never won a single fight either. Two of them were making their debuts and wisely enough decided to ever fight again, and the other two were 0-6 at the time, all their loses coming by way of early KO too. Yet the fat sack of useless blubber managed to drop Deonotonay. lol.

Wlad dropped and hurt Deonotonay in sparring too, no shame in that though. Still doesn’t change the fact that Denontonay is an uncoordinated lantern-jawed bumbling buffoon who possess the grace and athletic finesse and fluidity of Herman Munster with a severe case of rheumatoid arthritis and a mandible that’s made out of the most brittle substance found on planet Earth.

But the take home message from that video is : Wilder has a woopsie chin.

Headguard on, vs a midget, and he is doing the spaz giraffe ever single time he gets hit..

There is the reason he is being held back by GBP.

They want to cash that out in a title shot.

The reporters weren`t there for that fight, they were there for the headline fight.

Posted October 30, 2013 10:26 pm

Right.., That’s why there were so many reporters and camera operators present.. because it was a subnovice fight in the losers’ bracket.

The guy WIlder gets KO’ed by in that video had only had 5 amateur fights and he`d lost 3 of them.

Interesting some talk about Wilder having a go at Magoo. No way, he’d get KTFO. Mago should have way more hype than he’s got. A better fight is Wilder vs Chisora, which was already scheduled before. Or Jenkins who is the real top US heavyweight prospect.

After watching Vlad Clinchko fight his last fight, I don’t know why anyone would welcome a a fighter who can actually connect to his face. I was so surprisingly underwhelmed with his last fight and his opponent gained a ton of respect from actually bringing the fight.

heavyweight boxing today is like the clap, slow and painful.

Johnny, Wladimir has beaten plenty of tall fighters in his time. Here’s some: Thompson x 2 (and a southpaw), McCline, Bostice, Williamson, Jefferson, Austin, Pieneta, Wach.
We’re in Halloween season, I know, but Wilder needs to stop fighting zombies and take on some live bodies!

Posted October 30, 2013 10:20 am

Wilder reninds me of Michael Grant a little. He was another big, tall overly-hyped fighter too, exposed badly by Lewis. Thing is, Grant had beaten decent-to-good opposition to get a shot. Wilder has faced no-one, NO ONE.

Posted October 30, 2013 10:10 am

Well if Vitali is stepping down the successor to his throne should be the winner of the #1 and #2 contenders which are Stiverne and Arreola. If that has changed after Wilder’s recent glorious victory over Firtha then he’s the other man now. We’ve had Stiverne vs. Arreola already so I’d like to see Wilder try for it with Chris in as the next mandatory following the result.

Posted October 30, 2013 7:35 am

It worked for Tyson

Posted October 30, 2013 3:58 am

Hamster.., I don’t think Wilder is being intelligently matched.. They think they can sneak him past Stiverne and then into a match with a 38-year-old Wladimir … It’s a plan that probably won’t work.

You don’t try that without seasoning against tier 2 contenders.

Maybe they’re angling for one (1) big fat early score … and screw the future.

Actually it’s not so early if you putz around for 5 years, fighting an average of 5 minutes every 2 months.. Tyson got his ass kicked in the Olympic Trials … but they matched him 10 times better as a young pro.

Posted October 30, 2013 1:30 am

@TARK…So Mago is ranked… They can rank anyone.,, He’s ranked below Wilder…..

So what is your point – that rankings are meaningless? Then why does it matter that he is ranked below?

He won`t be if he beats Mike Perez.

I was countering the point that you say Mago is well behind Wilder – and well even with only 18 fights no he isn`t. He`s beaten a comparable level of opposition, and potentially soon a superior level. He has 100% KO ratio too. He also didn`t get put on chicken legs in the amateurs by a 5″10 nobody.

The only way in which he is behind is in not having the might of GBP pushing for him to get a title shot off of beating the shell of liakhovich and Harrison. Why should Mago AND Arreola get skipped for Wilder? Or ANYONE for that matter.

Posted October 30, 2013 12:21 am

So Mago is ranked… They can rank anyone.,, He’s ranked below Wilder

These guys are ranked more on their perceived punching power than anything else.. How many guys are reluctant to face them.

von Pugsly

I don’t know if Wilder will beat Stiverne. And maybe Wilder isn’t the best HW prospect out there. One thing I do know is that I much prefer finding out if Wilder is better than Stiverne, and if either is better than Mago or Bryan Jennings, and you can throw Tyson Fury in there if he gets by Haye. Anthony Joshua is just starting out but he looks like he’ll be up to speed sooner rather than later. My point being I’d rather watch any of these guys fight each other than ever watch Wlad clinch and lean his way to another dominant UD again. I hope Vitali takes Wlad with him into politics and retirement. They can be President and Vice-President of the Ukraine but they’ve had their dominant run at HW, both will wind up in the HOF, and it’s time for some new blood and some exciting fights in what used to be an action-packed division.

Posted October 29, 2013 7:40 pm

Brilliantly put. Huge step up in skill for Wilder. He’ll have to show some of the intangibles you mentioned to beat Stevern. I hope he has some skill afterall.

Posted October 29, 2013 6:52 pm

Wilder has no chin, so his own power is going to be offset the moment he goes in with a half-decent boxer puncher.

There isn`t a lot of craft to Wilders work from what I have seen, there is a lot of very telegraphed swinging in between some nice straighter punches, and the ability to get some good leverage in close for a big guy.

Some guys you see their tricks -the snake and hammer, drawing a lead, using a touch jab, hooking off the jab, spinning with a check hook, mixing hooks and uppercuts to open the head as a target, sweep a left hook to move the hands for a straight right etc etc.

I just never look at Wilder and see anything all that clever, no thought, just one quite basic gameplan that he hasn`t had to test against anyone worthwhile yet.

Posted October 29, 2013 6:44 pm

I guess it all comes down to whether Stevern can stand up to his power. Stevern is pretty active, could see him outbox Wilder to a wide decision if he can take the shots.

Posted October 29, 2013 6:04 pm

Wilder versus Stiverne would be a incredible match for the interm WBC title. If Vitalli decided to retire the winner coudl be elevated to full heavyweight champion. Hopefully this fight could be made for Hatti of Quebec the fans there would love it or maybe for the Wilder fans in Alabama. If this fight happens and Vitali does retire I would love to see Tony “Tiger” Thompson get a shot at the new heavyweight champion!

You guys keep speaking of all these eliminators like there’s a heavyweight tourney going on. The heavyweight division is a free for all and you all know it. If it wasn’t then people like Rahman, Ruiz, McCline, and Holyfield wouldn’t have been getting all those shots for no reason. Anyway, how are Vlad and Vitali not each other’s #1 contender yet? How are they not each other’s mandatory yet? Shouldn’t they get stripped for not fighting each other since they are the only two heavies to be unbeaten for 8 years? Please tell me more about how the heavyweight division is not monopolized?

Mago has 18 fights 18 KO’s and Mago has already KO’ed McCLine which is about as good as any Wilder win, AND Mago is about to fight a VERY live body in Mike Perez – which actually should get him ranked ABOVE Wilder.

This Wilder trip is a joke, 30:0 and he has not been in a fight yet. Steer him to a title fight and cash out, that seems to be the plan. What happens when the other guy is still there after a wild windmill flurry? He needs to be matched against a live opponent. If this is for a HW slice of the pie vs Sriverne, is it great match making or a sign of how bad the division is?

Guys checkout that fight between Wilder and the Russian dude. It confirms what I said years ago when it became clear GBP would not put Wilder in the ring with anyone decent: They’re protecting him from anyone who can crack. That video doesn’t have Wilder’s name attached so few people have seen it.

Wladimir-Pulev 2014, yeah, but Wilder? ..Wilder needs to get a credible win or two to justify a Wlad fight. Otherwise people will just say Wlad beat an over-hyped pretender.

I agree with Brazilian. The fact that Goldenboy would effectively decide who fought for a vacant title is a joke. The WBC should award Stiverne the vacant title with the stipulation that he fight either Wilder or Arreola, but the choice should be his.

No. Bermane Stiverne beat Chris Arreola in a WBC Final Eliminator. So, Vitali Klitschko should give him (Stiverne) a shot. If Vitali retires or is stripped of the title, then, in my opinion, Stiverne whould be awarded with the vacant title, or fight Wilder for the vacant title.

I think Wilder should fight Mago to earn the title. Both are rated 3 and 4 by the WBC.

Wilder has got speed and power but lacks balance and smooth footwork. I favour Stiervne for sheer experience and better boxing skillsets but his lack of speed and reach could be his downfall as Wilder’s suspect chin and balance issues not to forget his untested stamina.

What the amount of melanin in your skin has to do with anything, let alone boxing ability, is beyond me.

Posted October 29, 2013 5:22 am

Everyone saying that the result of Stiervne and Arreola was going to be different when they fought again, seem to forget that the dynamics of the fight hasn’t change and won’t change. Arreola would’ve to catch Stiervne with some wild and lucky punch to pull it off. Since he didn’t, can’t and won’t outbox Stiervne, he’s in for another asswhooping imo. Easy fight for Stiervne for Arreola will be tentative and cautious of Stiervne’s power forcing to fight at a pace which isn’t his natural pace, putting him out of sync, creating chances for Stiervne to catch him again with another monsterous punch. I think the fight might not even go the distance.

Mago is way behind Wilder. Forget it.

I would get him: Adamek.. Banks.. Arreola.. Thompson.. Chagaev.. Helenius.. Cunningham… Charr.. Chisora.. Three guys like that would do before you fight Siverner — who is one of the tougher guys out there … It takes real money to get the right fights, but you risk the money.

Stiverne is a big jump — that seems to be what they’re doing… 1 fight 30 guys you can blow over with ease… 2 fight Stiverne… 3 fight Wladimir

Wilder ranked #3 WBC without fighting anyone in the top 50?! It so appears that Oscar has become as corrupt as Don King, and more corrupt than Arum. Stiverne got lucky when he landed a punch that broke Arreola’s nose. I think it was round eight when Arreola hurt Stiverne on the ropes and until his nose was broken he was out boxing Stiverne. Jennings deserves a title shot much more than Wilder, Pulev, so many more. Vitali said he would fight, at least one more fight (perhaps two) then retire. It appears that the plan is to make Wilder the champion without his fighting anyone, perhaps a rematch with Sconiers? I did hear some talk about Wilder being Vitali’s farewell fight, hope that is true. It appears that Oscar can make any ranking he so wants$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ If that fight were to happen, it will be in Wilder’s home turf, with crooked, criminal judges and referee……………..and if Wilder can somehow be on his feet, the criminal judges will have had him winning every round. Promoters are laughing at the fans because they have zero respect for them, they believe the boxing fans are stupid, and they are getting away with what appears to be fixed fights, one after another. Chavez/Vera, Quillin/Rosado, Pac/Bradley, etc.

Posted October 28, 2013 11:32 pm

No disrespect to these heavyweight, but an in shape arreola will run through Wilder and take out Stiverne the way he should have when they fought. Stiverne did exactly what he need to do and definitely got the best of arreola but come next time, it’s gonna be a different story.

Posted October 28, 2013 11:29 pm

Robo-Hamster – Based on that clip I can see why they are bringing Wilder up very slowly and carefully, he got wobbled by pretty much every straight right that hit him, and this with headgear on and punches thrown straight in front of him..

The Asian Barry Gibb….lead singer of the Bree-Grees should be commended for providing the world with this link of Wilder being KO’ed by what appears to be some kind of welterweight smurf ewok:

Please view this video before making any further statements regarding Wilder and world titles.

Posted October 28, 2013 11:01 pm

It’s a risky fight for Wilder to fight Stiverne right now… Stiverne has gone 12 rounds with Chris Arreola and nearly stopped him.

Stiverne went 10 rounds with Ray Austin and stopped him. He should have stopped Austin earlier—but he needed the rounds. That’s 10 good rounds with a very big and very experienced heavyweight.

Wilder doesn’t have rounds.. He never had to deal with adversity.. Never was forced to clinch in his life.. He never had to go 4 complete rounds… That won’t help him against Stiverne…

Bermane is a big jump from the guys Deontay has been fighting.

Posted October 28, 2013 10:36 pm

I thought Stiverne was a nobody going the distance I think with Ray Austin but then he fought Arreola and either he was unsure of himself against Austin or he improved a ton. But Arreola is not a push over, punches hard and has a sturdy beard. As badly as Stiverne eat him up, I’m a believer.

Posted October 28, 2013 9:35 pm

I think so too based off what I saw briefly from Firtha/Wilder. Stiverne will take him into situations that he is not prepared for.

Posted October 28, 2013 9:32 pm

And definitely there is corruption in boxing.

Posted October 28, 2013 9:30 pm

Stiverne will KO Wilder.

Posted October 28, 2013 9:20 pm

I struggle with the issue of Wilder not legitimately deserving a big opportunity like this versus my own words of saying (like many others) time to step up. I mean does he deserve this position, probably not but at least personally I’d finally get to see him in a real challenging fight that I have been calling for like most everyone else. And if he didnt deserve the position, Stiverne will prove that.

So GBP believes Wilder has earned a title shot by beating Firtha and a shot Sergei? No they don’t, they’re just running a racket. Schaefer needs to send him in with a top 30 opponent before opening his mouth. The cherry picking here would be comical if it wasn’t an indication of what’s wrong with boxing.

Anonymous.., “The winner of Wilder-Stiverne will be a weak chinned circus act bum.”

Not really… They only have one (1) lonely KO loss between them … and Stiverne took some heavy shots from Arreola without even blinking.

How many KO losses do Wladimir, Lewis, Tyson, Norton, and Frazier have between them???

Sixteen (16) KO losses??? … That’s a pretty big fat number.

Posted October 28, 2013 6:51 pm

This is good news! He’s finally taking the next step in competition. Now we can see what he’s made of against a skilled fighter and what he can do beyond the 4th round. I want Stiverne to test his defense, endurance, and his chin. Then we can see what Wilder is really made of.

Posted October 28, 2013 6:00 pm

Wasn’t Stiverne meant to be fighting Vitali Klitchko so whats this stupid match up. Why is Schafer interferring with the rankings and matchup. Doesn’t add up. Seems Schafer wants the good contenders to knock themselves out for the sake of protecting the Klitchkos. Besides how long does Stiverne has to wait for his shot before he gets to fight for the belt. VITALI SHOULD VACATE THE BELT IF HE IS not ready to fight or doesn’t want to fight. Also since Wilder is now saying he is ready for the Klitchko Schafer all of sudden finds him the toughest he can find so as to derail his progress. “Goldengoose” is getting worse than Bob Arum. Same thing they tried to do with Mathysse, till Garcia insisted in fighting the guy. They were going to force Mathysse to fight Lara, yet another contender. (Keeping him waiting before he got his shot)

Posted October 28, 2013 5:53 pm

I would respect Wilder if he fought Stiverne. I think Bermaine Stiverne will knock him out cold though. After the bang up job that guy did on an always game Arreola, I think Stiverne is more than a threat especially for Wilder. This would be real interesting because Stiverne took a good bit of big shots from Arreola and was fine but he had Arreola hurt, down and leaking from every hole in his face. Doing that to Arreola is a pretty good accomplishment wether you like Arreola or not. So we will get to see a proven live, hard punching, good chinned, strong fighter who’s not on the back-end of his career. We will get to mate gauge just where that Wilder right hand stands against a seemingly solid chin. And perhaps, the biggest question of all will be answered,… What will Wilder’s reaction be when he is caught with something or even a barrage of solid punches. Will he fold like a cheap lounge chair? Personally (just my opinion) I think the last fight was very telling even though Wilder won as usual. Firtha, had what seemed to be the right recipe but he didnt have enough gas or didnt press the accelerator to the floor. I think that Wilder was out of his comfort zone when he was backed up and the punches he threw against other guys that backed them off or stopped them in their tracks didnt work. His demeanor changed noticibly from a damning look of conviction to a deer in headlights whose brain just malfunctioned. I feel pretty confident thinking that’s the reason he has been brought along very cautiously to this point. If that is te reason, I firmly believe Stiverne will ruin Wilder’s night, his perfect record and his confidence overall. Never know though, stranger things have happened, Wilder’s right may land picture perfect and Stiverne may crumble like a stale cookie. Either way, I’m finally excited and hopeful to see a Wilder fight with a real threat across the ring!!

Prof Konje

Exactly what has Wilder done to earn an elimination bout for a title? Please tell me who he has beaten? I would also like to see a list of Stiverne’s opponents. It’s very difficult to believe that these two, especially Wilder, are the two best heavyweights out there. Someone should initiate a box-off just as the super middleweight competition of a few years ago. It’s become quite clear that unless a boxer has some “weight” behind him he may never get a fair deal no matter how good he is. In fact, just by being very good (meaning dangerous) he may never get a shot unless there’s a Schaefer or an Arum behind him.

This is wrong. #3 what a joke. If it gets him a title shot for fighting bums then great for him, he wont care. Bad for boxing though. Surley to get ranked #3 you have to fighting other contenders Surley. Am I the only oné who thinks the rankings are just made up as they go on any old how!!!

Tark , I think you better go back and watch the Mesi vs. Jirov bout again. there is no way Jirov beat the crap out of Joe for 10 rounds only to get robbed on the scorecards. I just watched the fight again just to make sure that I am not talking out of my ass. the commentary from the 8th round. Manny Stewart. I am very impressed with Joe Mesi tonight. jim Lamply. joe is tripleling up on the number of punches landed on Jirov. by the way, Mesi through 88 punches in the 8th round. the highest amount ever thrown against Jirov up until that time. as a matter of fact the only round Jirov won was the last round when he caused joe’s brain bleed.

“I just pray the fight happens.. An American is going to be Heavyweight Champion if the fight produces a winner.”

Yeah and he’ll be a weak chinned circus act bum. That’s how far heavyweight boxing has fallen in the USA, they’d even embrace a bum like Wilder as a paper thin champ. Hahahahaha!!

You had very little cred TARK now you have zero. You’re reduced to wanting a useless American bum as a world champ. Sad! Sad! Sad! LOL

why is wilder #3? Is stiverne in shape?

Posted October 28, 2013 4:52 pm

joe louis. bum of the month club, now its bum of the week club.

The wild man from Alabama has a chin problem. I feel it in my bones.

Posted October 28, 2013 4:29 pm

mr gav

Put it this way. Wilder dose not deserve a shot however if he wins then he can then only defend against the other contenders mentioned and wilder will be top draw in hw scene as wk has little excitement value. And if he wins we will soon forget he fought 30 bums to get that shot. And if he loses then we can all call him a hype job. Wilder needs to fight a live opponents boxing fans are getting frustrated at this so at least he will now? And tark stiverne is Canadian so America may have to wait a little longer for a hw champ! But I will say wilder will ko stiverne though

I belive wilder wii lose thst fight if his opponent comes in shape, but it is infact a step north. Thats a wilder fight I may even watch.

Posted October 28, 2013 4:23 pm

I like Wilder but why is he No.3?? Who has he beaten in the Top 10 to get this rating….

Posted October 28, 2013 4:16 pm

call the promotion EXPOSED not sure why this hype job is no 1 in line given he has fought any top 10, 20 or 30 fighters. once that chin is tickled we’ll see the donkey dance and the foal on his ass

Posted October 28, 2013 4:07 pm

the hw circus keeps rolling along.

flash knock down

The first time Wilder fights a live fighter he will lose. I noticed something about Wilder he lacks self confidence all he has is that big right hand no fighter worth anything will let him hit them with it. The top guys will make Wilder put that right hand in his pocket never to use it again. I guess all you want is one shot at the title make a couple of million then ride off into the sun set. Will will lose to a lot of fighters out here. There are guys you have never heard of that would beat the breaks off of Wilder. Wilder is a one trick pony throw the right hand. I noticed a guy hanging with him that I am not going to name but this fool knows nothing about boing and he has Wilders ear not good get rid of him now. His people know who I am talking about he is a nut huger and he is bad news get this clown away from Wilder before it’s too late. You can pay me later if not I will tell the next guy who fights Wilder how to beat him. My winning percentage is 95% this year I know the game inside and out. Wilder has so many flaws that I could not fix him in a year.

It HAS to be: Vladimir Klitschko vs. somebody. Let him unify the HW titles, after that he’ll give one belt or even some belts back so that the nobodies can fight for it.

Posted October 28, 2013 3:05 pm

Well that is definitely a step up

Posted October 28, 2013 2:44 pm

Whoever Wilder fights next, it will be very soon. He’s been averaging 6-7 bouts a year. It might be too early for Stiverne. I’d look for him to move up gradually, fighting guys at a lower level like: Rossy, Walker, Skelton, Harris, Sprott, Oquendo, Hanks, or Price. If Deontay keeps KOing opponents on national TV at the rate he’s going, he won’t need a title belt in the near future.

i don’t think vitali is going to retire until he fight stiverne first. that will be his swan song. i’m not posting to fast since this is my first post.

Posted October 28, 2013 2:26 pm

Stiverne beat Arreola. So why wouldn’t #3 Wilder fight #2 Arreola. #1 Stiverne fights #4 Mago in WBC semi final match ups. The 2 winners face off for the title. Seems fair and simple that 3 of the 4 guys (I don’t believe Wilder has earned it) have earned a chance to grab that elusive title from the Klitschko reign.

Posted October 28, 2013 2:23 pm

Good fight. We would finally see Wilder fight someone with a pulse.

Posted October 28, 2013 2:23 pm

TARK old chum, Wladimir Klitschko is Heavyweight Champion.

Posted October 28, 2013 2:19 pm

Tark – If this fight happens and one of these two B graders wins. You know and I know and everybody knows they are still not the Heavyweight champion.

Posted October 28, 2013 2:15 pm

This pundit says.., “Stiverne will be turning 35 next month and his career has been brought a long very slowly for some reason.”

For some reason is right. Nobody wants to be 35 before he catches a break. But with Vitali retiring to politics, that’s the big break BS has waited for.

It’s very tough to get the right fights, for any fighter who can box a little and punches people out. Unless you have a manager or matchmaker who’s very experienced, talented, and very persistent in putting fights together. A dangerous hitter can go years between fights — at least between appropriate fights. So he ends up in inappropriate fights against 2nd string ham & eggers.

Everybody is so overly protective these days. Stiverne is lucky he got the Arreola fight — just dumb luck the fight happened. Getting the Wilder fight for the title is something Stiverne waited all his life for. I’m sure he’ll believe it when the contract is signed. But these days you’re only certain on the day of the weigh-in. Stiverne doesn’t have Deontay’s punching power, but he’s faced tougher opponents than DW has — and he’s gone 12 rounds. Deontay has never gone 4 full rounds.

I just pray the fight happens.. An American is going to be Heavyweight Champion if the fight produces a winner.

Deontay Wilder don’t deserve a title fight!

Posted October 28, 2013 1:46 pm

Dont know that much about Stiverne. He did beat C.A. I guess thats something but so did Adamek whos no great hvwt. by a long shot. But this guy would be a live wire therefore it would tell us who Wilder really is overall…so hope it happens. If Wilder makes a excuse not to fight…that will also tell so about the real Wilder…make it happen!!!

Posted October 28, 2013 1:34 pm

This would be a great fight, but Wilder has not yet done anything to merit a title shot at anyone. Stiverne has beaten top ten guys like Arreola and Austin, and has won eliminators, but who has Wilder fought? Wilder is a great puncher and may well be the real thing, but he has yet to prove that.

Posted October 28, 2013 1:14 pm

Wilder would KO Stiverne easy.

Posted October 28, 2013 1:04 pm

Mr Gav

First of all how is vitali still champion? He only fights hand picked opponents and has not defended at all this year. And most mandontary defences have to be completed every 90 days or so,how many fighters have lost there title this way? And if wbc have put deontay in top 2 or 3 rankings buy only beating bums what dose this show for the wbc? However I’m glad stiverne is considerd number one contender and rightly so. I don’t think deontay deserves a title shot if belt is vaccted but a stiverne wilder fight would be a win win for fans as if he wins then we have an exciting big punching young champion which then can only fight the best in the division including a fight with waldamir and if he losses then we know that wilder is over rated and he can go back to knocking out bums. Win win

Wilder’s defensive skills are non-existent. If he has an iron jaw, though, and if Wlad gives him the opportunity – no question Wilder would win inside a few rounds:

Posted October 28, 2013 1:00 pm

Stiverne will KO Wilder. Period. Done dat.
