Drx- if that’s true, does Povetkin already not have faith in himself? Is he able to predetermine that he’s going to be beaten to a pulp? Low self esteem is not going to be productive in preparing for a fight with the likes of Wladimir Klitschko.

povetking craps out . . . pulev-wlad!

Exiled Yank

Unfortunate timing for managerial problems. Poivetkin needs to focus on Wlad and not have any outside distractions.

The long process of cashing out has begun. Expect Povetkin to get KTFO then retire. Why give your manager his cut if the big payout is already set and you won’t fight beyond that?

I have no idea how Povetkin is going to beat Wlad. I have no idea how he will get past the jab. He does not have the size, jab, power, speed or style to beat wlad. Total mismatch. I would rather see pulev fight wlad, even fury.

K2 fan – same reason they continue to insist that Povetkin owns a “world title” and a “belt”. Plus, there aren’t many (any?) mega-fights out there in the HW division. The only one possible is Klit1 vs. Klit2, and that won’t happen. Sadly we live in an era where the two dominant HWs refuse to fight each other, so in these times, when one of the Ks fights an undefeated fighter, that’s a “mega-fight”

Why do they insist on hyping it as a ” megafight ” ? It’s a long delayed beat
down of a no more than an ordinary fighter by a champion , several levels ABOVE him ! Where is the ” MEGA ” ? Strange what hype can do ; people
diss Wach and Pianetta , but they consider Povetkin great !? Personally I’m convinced Povetkin couldn’t beat either one of them ! Povetkins best ” win ” , was Chambers and he hasn’t gotten any better , only older , so draw your own conclusions . I had doubts about it before , but now I’m certain that this ” megafight ” will NEVER take place . I for one will NOT miss it .

Rich has the beat..
Wonder if the writer of this article leaves out the Whole story on purpose or if he’s just a bad journalist /writer

Alonzo got the beat. The latest excuse.

probably a good decision. But I’d like to think the house was in order for him to have a chance. He cant even decide on his own team.

Team povetkin has always been a mess. Atlas in….atlas out… Roach in…Roach out…. they want to fight Klitschko then sign contracts to later pull out or just not show up to the presser…. now after new Klitschko deal… manager if fired…. what a mess

Will he use leaving his manager as an excuse to duck Klit?

Rich If thats true I agree with you, do you know the reason for this?

typical of this writer not to do his homework, hrunov wouldn’t allow THE RINGSIDE DOCTOR to stop DENIS LEDBEDEV’S FITE AGAINST JONES. DENIS took serious punishment in that fight, THE DOCTOR REVEALED THAT HRUNOV PROHIBITED HIM FROM STOPPING THE FIGHT. Ledbedev looked the elephant man after that site. DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR IF ALLEGATIONS ARE TRUE
