Allen Green has no career and has made no name in boxing ever.

Big T

WHAT??? Green didn’t make weight? WHAT A SHOCK!!! Greg Leon will be all over his .com page saying how it’s not Allan “Out of Shape” Green fault again. This guy is a joke to the sport. Hope he gets KOed again after this crap.

Green was a fine prospect and has had a good career. I know he overcame some health problems and fought many of the top names in the sport, but if he doesn’t really want to box anymore, he should move on. Boxing is a hard game, and I respect anyone who fights, but it is unprofessional for Green and his camp to come in so far above contracted weight. The promoter, the network, the fans, and the opponent deserved to see Green fit and on weight.

Holy crap, that’s refusal to make weight, not inability. Light Heavyweight standard is 175lbs, so even though this was contracted for 180, Green is actually 10lbs over Light Heavyweight.
If you can’t make weight then get out of the division. Go and be a cruiserweight.

The excuse…I was heavier Alvarez, and there for slower which turned out to be a huge advantage for him.

And of course there will be some sort of excuse from Green. I don’t think Green has ever lost a fight to where there was not an excuse, or a fight that he struggled in. Always an excuse so I just wonder what that excuse will be this time.
