Mayweather would out box him 100%

“I just cant get pass the fact that this guy quit against Bradley. Literally quit.” That’s because Bradley was headbutting him to death.

Khan vs Alexander, it’s on!

It’s Me, Ernie

He means Khan…

I think its a good fight, and the winner deserves a shot at floyd. Both are skillfu fighter, Alexander with better chin and Khan with bigger heart. Might give the edge to khan due to his speed and due to Alexander not being the biggest puncher.

Floyd does not fight big names because there really aren’t any at 147 yet, and he definitely will not fight anyone that can bang. That means he just may fight alexander, some one not incredibly challenging or dangerous for that matter. He’ll try to sell the fight like its the biggest thing since the thrilla in manila and a bunch of blind souls will buy into it. To see fights like these, floyd might as well retire now.

A big name but one that has proven he doesn’t perform when at the highest level. That sounds like a Mayweather opponent to me!

Don’t worry you’ll get the mayweather fight he loves easy paydays but in reality Floyd shouldn’t fight these guys we know they have no chance against him.

This fight would be ok but doesnt need to happen at the moment. Khan has unsettled business at 140. It would be nice to see Khan actually try to avenge a defeat.

and sorry for “beat”, “defeated” is more appropriate

All right I remember now, and Peterson was suspended after the bout for Illegal substance use I believe Thank you murderman

@ben hill – peterson was given a controversial hometown decision

Squared-Circle (a.k.a. LionKing)

Feather-fisted Devon should have at least 3 losses on his record. He was outboxed by Kotelnik and got beat-up by Matthysse. The ONLY reason why he got the nod in those two fights is because he was in his own backyard (St. Louis) with hometown crowd and corruptible judges. Don’t ever agree to fight Alexander in St. Louis or he’ll get the nod every time. Devon has some really good boxing skills, but he’s all flash and no smash. Personally, I just can’t stand the way he grunts when punching and how he’s been babied. Mayweather will be doing a historic dis-service of epic proportions if he chooses either Devon, Khan or Yo Paulie for one of his last few fights.

Who already beat Khan? Alexander or Peterson?

I think alexander will give mayweather a hell of a fight. He is a skilled southpaw who can box n punch. Interesting matchup! I like it

Alexander beats Khan but LOSES to Mayweather

Amir Khan vs Devon Alexander

I’ll stand firm and just say Alexander doesn’t like it when the going gets rough… Khan is fast, and has some pop, but he isn’t rough. lol

It bothers me to agree with a negative poster like hecdog but he’s right, Alexander lacks heart & he melts when the temperature gets cranked up…

Couldn’t be said better!. If we wanted a sparring match, we could be watching Floyd vs-Guerrero instead. Last night we witnessed Alexander vs- Punching bag. Nothing great about that.

Posted May 19, 2013 9:24 pm

Alexander when faced against anyone tough or skilled will fold. Last night they might s well put him in against a punching bag. Khan, Mayweather, Matthysse, Garcia or any other good fighter will beat him. Alexander is mentally weak IMO. Judah vs Alexander would be a good fight. Let’s see who break first.

Showtime has a heck of a lot of fighters lined up.

Jay Rock, I figured that, but Khan’s style of fighting and his lack of chin would bring out the best of Alexander, win or lose.

Posted May 19, 2013 8:59 pm

Haha, you gotta love the fact that last night started out with Khan and Garcia in the audience, Paulie on the mic, Alexander, Mathysse and Peterson in the ring and everyone speculating on who is gonna fight who. Now today the only consensus is that NOBODY wants any part of Lucas Mathysse. Khan shoud jump at the Alexander fight because Mathysse would finish him in 3

Squared-Circle (a.k.a. LionKing)

Of course he does. Because he’s scared to death of getting KTFO.

Jay rock

Not khan Alexander is

I would lean towards Alexander, if he’s healthy. I’m sure he has more than enough power to bother Khan. Maybe you should look at the right hook he landed on Urango. That would have put Khan away too.

Posted May 19, 2013 8:41 pm

Fence Sitter

Khan would probably beat over hyped Alexander. He doesn’t have the power to worry Khan and Khan is much faster and skillful.

I agree Tomatoe Can

I don’t think Khan/Alexander sounds boring. I haven’t seen Khan in a boring fight yet. In anycase, a better fighter could have taken advantage of Alexander’s injured hand/arm last night.

Khan vs Alexander sounds boring lol
