16 year-old German talent Bauer ready for ring return on July 18

Germany’s youngest professional boxer, Leon Bauer (1-0, 1 KO) returns to the ring on July 18 at the Gerry Weber Stadium in Halle on the undercard of Arthur Abraham’s WBO World title defence against Robert Stieglitz.

Having got his professional career off to a flying start with the first-round destruction of Kristof Mate, the 16 year-old super middleweight can expect a tougher test in his second paid outing against Misa Nikolic (20-35-2, 9 KOs) – a 37 year-old, 57 fight-veteran, who is old enough to be Bauer’s father. Braehmer set for WBA World title defence against Konrad on September 5 in Dresden

Juergen Braehmer (46-2, 34 KOs) will defend his WBA World Light Heavyweight Championship against Konni Konrad (21-1-1, 11 KOs) on September 5 in Dresden.

Ahead of his fifth successive world title defence, the 36 year-old two-time world champion is relishing a return to the Saxon capital. ‘’I have good memories from fighting in Dresden,’’ said Braehmer. ‘’It was here that I came back from my first world title defeat to claim the European strap in 2009. Nielsen vs. Adamu weigh-in bust up – pictures and video

Things got heated when Patrick Nielsen (25-1, 12 KOs) and Charles Adamu (23-6, 17 KOs) took the scales ahead of their WBA International Super Middleweight title fight on Saturday night at the Ballerup Super Arena in Copenhagen.

WBA International Super Middleweight Championship:
Patrick Nielsen: 75.9 kg
Charles Adamu: 74.1 kg

Zeuge signs contract extension with Team Sauerland

Rising super middleweight star Tyron Zeuge has signed a contract extension with Team Sauerland, which will keep him tied to the powerhouse promoters until 2019.
