Seven bouts are scheduled, headlined by the return of undefeated featherweight Logan McGuinness (20-0-1, 9KOs) of Orangeville, Ontario, in a ten round clash with Argentina’s Luis Armando Juarez (19-8-2, 4KOs). A former North American champion, McGuinness is looking to fight his way back to a title in 2015, beginning with a win on March 28. Boxing fans had to wait for a long time to finally see the rematch between US ring veteran Tony Thompson and former Cuban amateur standout Odlanier Solis. This Friday (Feb. 27th) Thompson and Solis will finally step into the ring in Antalya, Turkey. Both fighters not only arrived on the site but also went over the scale on Thursday afternoon.
