Looks like Chris got a few more tattoos since he fought Klitschko. I hope Stiverne is ready for the bull he’s about to lock horns with. Chris is a beast.

Who’s going to pay to watch this fat fk fight?

“Give me one fkn reason why [Mr. Cristobal Arreola] deserves a shot at Klitscko??” maybe because he’s the last opponent to actually give a Klitschko a fight. he’s no Cotto or “Chillon” Cintron. kneeling, flopping, or literally jumping out of the ring to avoid their beatdown . . . “Oyyy-Ye mi Cannn-to. Canto solo para Ti. Canto pa Ti. Canto pa Ti. Por que lo mereces P-E . . . (lol).

Posted March 27, 2013 9:10 pm

arreola did a whole lot better than haye vs klitscho at least he came to fight

Posted March 27, 2013 8:35 pm

I like Chris, and Boxing needs more like him. Yeah he isn’t top tier, but not every fighter has to be. Boxing needs 20 Arreola’s for every Klitscko. Game fighters that stay active and can occasionally make a fight interesting. The sport is losing so many potential fighters, that it needs every one it can get. Guys like Arreola keep the sport going between mega fights, and I appreciate him and others like him, for that. Besides, it looks like he’s lost about 30 lbs. Maybe some time off did him some good, lol.

“Arreola needs to fight Solis or Oquendo..”, i.e., retreads and peripheral contenders? what would that prove? that PR boxing is irrefutably and undeniably in the Crapper?

Oh-Hh?! PUBLIC ENEMA has finally crawled out of his own ass-crack and returned from fanboy exile to do what he does worst: piss on “Mexican” fighters (lol). of course, with Puerto RicaN’T boxing in the crapper it’s the only alternative to gushing over retreads or unproven and peripheral contenders . . . Oye mi canto PE, Oye mi canto. Oye mi canto mullato, Oye mi canto . . . OYyy-Ye mi canto, canto solo para ti. Canto para ti, canto para Ti, por que lo mereces PE.

Arreola lost against Adamek and V. Klit. Stiverne won against TBAs. No way to put Stiverne as a favorite in there…

Posted March 27, 2013 3:21 pm

Chris should get the win but Stiverne is a dangerous opponent.

Posted March 27, 2013 1:29 pm

arreola has hair!!! its a better look and he looks in better shape. his shape was irrelevant the guy could always fight and about had adamek outta there. if he couldve trapped adamek a little better on the ropes and corners and kept adamek from running i definetly think he couldve won that bout adamek looked the way worse of the two. im rooting for arreola in this one

I look for Arreola to come in under 235 poundsand not be weight drained. I don’t know much about Stiverne other than he can punch. I think Arreloa out works Stibrne for the decision.

Posted March 27, 2013 11:15 am

I may share a minority opinion on here but I felt that Chris would have beaten Adamek if he didn’t injure his hand. I felt that big right was working for him all night appeared to injure it late in the fight.

Arreola needs to fight Solis or Oquendo.. He’s at best a C+ fighter who has never stepped up or come through in his Must Win fights… acting like a Sobbing Shrek, usin Curse words and kissing his opponents on the lips is just too crazy for most Boxing Fans…

Posted March 27, 2013 10:04 am

Chris looks to be in shape

Posted March 27, 2013 9:15 am

top hat

Arreola has only fought two guys who are top twenty quality and lost both. Now he gets a chance to fight for the WBC title if he gets through this. Amazing how he got this opportunity, and people say haye dont deserve a shot. Perhaps if haye beats 5 taxi drivers then he will be ok as just like chris. Stiverne will have no trouble beating this clown

Well Chris Arreola have been away from the ring far to long and desspretly ducking to fight Wladimir Klitschko, what a waste. Arreola, just challange Wladimir for a fight and you are off the ducking hook.

Posted March 27, 2013 7:25 am

Gonna be over in California from Scotland when this fight is on – I really fancy this fight – should be a proper old skool slugfest allright.

Posted March 27, 2013 7:22 am

If Arreola is in top shape, i think he will prevail, the thing is he is like the Cubans, no discipline. Stiverne`s problem was he signed with the wrong pomoter, which resulted in him being idle for most of his career, he has a whole lot of power, but i think he is getting too old to compete with the best. Don King, no matter what people say, was the first promoter to start giving fighters these huge purses, but he is old and has lost his touch as a promoter, his fighters are allowed to rot instead of fighting regularly. Stiverne should have stayed with the canadian promoters.

Posted March 27, 2013 4:34 am

im telling you – this is gonna be one hell of a slugfest – you gotta love arreola, but stiverne is no slouch and when hes in the trenches, as he will be, hes gonna come back hard. Dont miss this one!

It’s your birthday, I will only knock you out once then.

Arreola should fight at about 225 pounds.

Posted March 27, 2013 2:30 am

Beat you up

Trains to do that, not one punch, several heavy punches in a row, combination.

Posted March 27, 2013 2:30 am

Beat you up

Haye would tee off, he is fast, and do his heavy combinations to finish, that’ll do you.

Posted March 27, 2013 2:27 am

Haye would not tee off on any boxer bar the Klitchkos. His heavyweight resume just sucks. And wow it is weird to see Arreola looking that skinny.

Posted March 27, 2013 1:38 am

Beat you up

Fight Haye, no thankyou, get battered, knocked all over the place, Haye will tee off on any fighter, bar the Klitschkos, facts, Boxing.

The top ones, I can remember playing football for my school team, middle school, 10 years old, we played Riders, lost 13-1, Played Front lawn lost 5-0, they had the best players, housing estate, our school was just outside, I was a good player, fast, but they were too fast, blitz you with running fast, anyway, Riders v Front lawn was 0-0, always remember taht, cancelled each other out.

a hw bout I’m actually excited for go arreola!

Posted March 26, 2013 10:24 pm

Stiverne will KO Arreloa. He has easy to take and will get hit by a massive punch with Stiverne has. Arreola may look good for 1 or 2 rounds till he gets caught.

Posted March 26, 2013 10:19 pm

I just had a thought

Haye v Arreola, good fight, big fight.

Posted March 26, 2013 10:17 pm

It’s been a YEAR since he last fought; and we are talking about a man who has had issues with the SCALES in the past. That’s not good at all. Even if he does come in light; one has to wonder if he spent the training camp working on technic or spent it losing weight. If he spent it losing weight that’s not good; because he will look good; but I’m almost certain he will fight sluggish because of the quick weight drain and the fact there has to be some ring rust there because he hasn’t been active enough. I wish him well.

Fight Scribe

Arreola has heart and is tough but no application. One thing being tough but a whole other level when you are tough with application. If Arreola could train like Hopkins, Bradley, Froch, Ward, Marquez etc. etc. he could maximize his potential but he likes to be his own man and being that man which is ill disciplined and lazy between fights is seeing him squandering the limited time any fighter has as an elite fighter…unless you’re Bernard – the exception – Hopkins.

Posted March 26, 2013 9:47 pm

He will need to be ready. Stiverne will be well up for this and chris needs to be fit and bang on to win. For me Stiverne will win and he wants it more

Posted March 26, 2013 8:05 pm

We’ll know how ready Chris is when he steps on the scale. I like Arreola, hoping he comes in lighter, again, than his last bout.
