As soon as he PUBLICLY said he would take the test, Floyd changed terms and came up with new demands. Then he got his ass sent to jail. OST won’t be enough anyway. Look at Lance Armstrong. He passed 24 times in the span of a year and he still gets allegations. As long as there are those that don’t like you succeeding, they will always accuse you. You guys really look stupid now anyway considering Pac hasn’t even looked great in his last couple fights and the allegations are STILL there. When he passes all you’ll say is that he stopped using to pass the test.

I had Pac winning at the end by the slimmest of margins. I had JMM winning, but then it seemed he took his foot off the pedal. Plus I am somewhat influenced by their other fights. When JMM is willing to actually fight Pac has the advantage. JMM has learned to nullify Pac, but he does it by not engaging which is somewhat bad if you’re going after someone’s title. It was the same thing with the Bradley fight. I had Pac well up on the cards, but then Tim decided not to really engage anymore and it nullified Pac’s offense, but again at the expense of his own offense. IMO, if you’re going to do that you need to be like Floyd. While Floyd sacrifices offense he’s clearly VERY effective defensively. JMM sacrificed offense, but Pac’s landing percentage stayed the same, he just was forced to punch less times. But like I said since that fight ended, it could’ve gone either way or even been a Draw. Not to get off subject, but I think it may be a good idea to show the judges scorecards during the match. In every other sport you know where you stand and can adjust accordingly, but in boxing you’re just guessing and so is the crowd.

even if every round of the Marquez v. Pacquiao* matchup was close, Marquez easily won 8/12 rounds of that fight. anything less IS a Robbery.

Pacquiao* avoided rematching Marquez; lost to a faded Morales coming off another flat performance and loss to Barrera; virtually leap-frogged over the lightweight division that Marquez later unified; proceeded to catchweight- and hydration-clause compromise every welter opponent he faced; and refused to confirm a P4P $howdown v. his primary P4P rival over a harmless testing request. unless he’s got something to hide(?). along with his presumed “ATGness”, which i’ve yet to see at ANY weight.

This is the best fight outside of Floyd for Pac no one else can compete with him his style is to dynamic for anyone that doesnt have the i.q of a Marquez or a Mayweather.

Posted August 30, 2012 2:03 pm

Mad scientist Pac winning the lineal tittle in 4 weightclasses alone is a great argument for Pac being a top 5 g.o.a.t nevermind his other accomplishments. Personally i have him # 2 behind Ray Rob the #s dont lie my friend. Oscar was drained and Mosley past his prime but Pac still destroyed the best wws of the last decade.

Posted August 30, 2012 1:55 pm

…well, not exactly;i woulnd’t “hate”if PEDquiao step up and take those blood samples and make the fight happen!!

“i’ll take any test, any time. i’ve got Nothing to hide” was Marquez’s response to questions about his muscular physique. something that Punkuiao* has NEVER dared say. not even for $50 million and P4P dominance. he must have something to hide other than a nation of Pacturds* crowded into his ass-crack.

Posted August 30, 2012 12:55 pm

The same thing will happen. Manny wins (maybe this time a stoppage) and Marquez whines.

Posted August 30, 2012 12:05 pm

What do you mean now? JMM has ALWAYS given Pac trouble. When did this become a new development in Pac? Hell none of Manny’s defeats have been by guys bigger than himself, so is this just news to you that Pac looks better against bigger taller men? Hell FLoydiots are the same as the Pactards. No matter who Manny fights the opponent is too beaten up, but Floyd can fight the same opponent after Pac has beaten them up even more and they’ll say how great Flody looked and how this opponent miraculously became his old self again (Cotto and JMM). Hell when Pac fought JMM the 3rd time Floydiots said JMM was there to make Pac look good, but then the fight was close. Floydiots said the same about the Bradley fight and Pac lost. Pactards and Floydiots are all morons, because there’s no reason to have loyalty towards a fighter. None of them represent us fans except in the olympics. RJJ is the only fighter I remember strongly representing where he grew up.

Posted August 30, 2012 11:41 am

Floyd fans will hate on EVERYTHING Pac does no matter what. Every opponent is a bad choice, washed up, an easy money fight, and aeverything Arum does and says is wrong. It’s just emotional tantings from little girls so pay it no mind. Just like there are Pac fans who hate everything FLody does. It’s stupid really since there’s no reason to be loyal to any fighter. It’s not like other sports where they represent your hometown or something. They’re just paid pugilists.

Posted August 30, 2012 11:29 am

I wouldn’t call the last fight a robbery, just that everyone didn’t agree on the decision. This is how close fights ALWAYS are which is why all three Pac vs JMM fights have sparked debate and why they are even having a 4th fight. Was Ray vs Hagler a robbery, no the people were just split over who they thought won. Just because the decision didn’t go the way you wanted is no reason to call it a robbery. Remember that calling a fight a robbery is saying that something was wrong with the sport of boxing’s integrity that night. Boxing didn’t lose any integrity in any Pac vs JMM fights, so none of them were robberies.

Posted August 30, 2012 11:24 am

Chicago guy

JMM will never win over Paquiao. If the 4th fight will does happen it favor crybaby for another good payday. It will be a good entertaining fight.

Posted August 30, 2012 9:09 am

Team pac wants a 4th a## beating?lol they just never learn do they.Pac can only get so many gift decisions & regardless of what happens it won’t make pac look any better that’s for sure.Marquez wipes the floor with Pac again even more convincingly in another major robbery.Dinamita all day.

Posted August 30, 2012 12:11 am

This is a good fight. Marquez and Pac is never a bad fight (even the third, which wasn’t as action-packed as the first two, was a good fight). Don’t people want one of these two to finally get a conclusive, decisive win over the other?
I don’t really understand the resistance to this match up… the only real worthwhile options for Pac were Bradley and Marquez (Mayweather was never going to be ready by the end of this year after his “time off”).

Arum always wins.

Posted August 29, 2012 9:13 pm

This fight is already won by Manny. JMM is gonna have to KO Manny cold in order to win. Not buying this bs.

So make up your mind, do you wanna see this fight or minute you’re saying you don’t want to see this boring ass fight and the next you’re jabbering about Manny Knocking Marquez out once and for all..typical pactards, acting like hysterical insecure little girls now that their idol is being exposed by smaller men..

Posted August 29, 2012 8:32 pm

i agree and i’ve gotta hand it to Pacquiao* in terms of his durability and resilience. after all, they don’t call Marquez “Dinamita” for nothing. he CAN Sock but while he’s been able to sting, stun, cut, and lump-up Pacquiao* pretty good, he hasn’t been able to knock him off of his feet(?!?). Marquez himself expressed respect (tinged with resignation) regarding Pacquaio’s* durability. he’s absorbed shots that would’ve at-least floored if not KO’d most other fighters. including the notoriously durable Juan Diaz and Casamayor. Marquez shouldn’t have too to earn at-least one of the scorecard nods by now but KDs have become the deciding factor in this rivalry. not necessarily fair but it does make for some fierce and desperate matchups between these two.

Posted August 29, 2012 7:24 pm

i would favor Marquez because he is simply so much more skilled and experienced when it comes to controlling the ebb and flow of a fight. however, a nagging concern about just how long he can sustain his mastery is beginning to emerge. in a spanish-language interview along with Sergio Martinez, Marquez shared his scientific belief that responsible and clean-living fighters like himself can actually peak at 38-years-old. he proved as much in his last bout v. Pacquiao* (and pretty much every bout leading up to it) but even pride and determination can go stale and those are Key elements of Marquez’s prime. again, this rivalry should’ve been concluded six years ago. just like Marquez always wanted.

Ron Levao

The verdicts were off, but no way Marquez deserved them. I thought P should have gotten the first, the second was even, and the third M should have been given the nod. As for 4 bouts–why not?? Robinson fought LaMotta 5 or 6 times, and Archie Moore fought Harold Johnson 4 times (I think). As long as they don’t just anticipate each other and nullify each other, let ’em go at it. It’s one for real fans, not for reporters who may be looking for new angles.

The Mad Scientist

I didn’t really care to see a fourth fight between these two but since it looks like it might happen I’ll watch it again..Pacquiao seems to be losing his confidence or second guessing if he still has it or not..Marquez is getting up there in age but it looks like he still has the hunger and desire to put an ass whooping on Pacquiao..I just have a feeling Juan will beat Pacquiao up this time around since he still seems to wanted really bad, Pacquiao on the other must be feeling exposed with doubt..

Posted August 29, 2012 6:33 pm

First of all manny should have lost the first not because he got man handled n busted real bad but because he hit marquez after marquez had his glove on the canvas if they did that move on Roy Jones Jr why couldn’t. They do it on cheating ass PEDquiaou

Posted August 29, 2012 6:21 pm

Marquez should get this there last fight he did win it. It wasn’t as bad as say Pac beating Bradley but it was close.

Let’s see if Marquez can do better this time or Pac.
Let’s see an end to it!

Exciting fight!

To be fair, Marquez deserves the fight, and this is the biggest fight outside of Pacquiao/Mayweather. I just don’t think Marquez can win without a few knock downs or a knock out. That being said, we really can’t depend on judges these days, to call any fight right, little lone a Top Rank or GBP fight.

am i excited about this matchup? not particularly. however, if Marquez is game, he’s earned it. anyway, this fight-fan will always resent Team Pacquiao* spreading their trilogy over Eight (8) F’n Years in an attempt to dilute Marquez’s competitiveness. however, at this point, it’s Pacquiao* whose looking less and less potent or dominant.

Posted August 29, 2012 4:55 pm

“The corner of Marquez needs to stop telling him he’s winning near the end of each fight, Roach does the opposite”. based on that observation, it appears that Team Pacquiao* is just as surprised at the official outcomes as Team Marquez is dismayed. Btw, e-Nuff of the scoring error unless you also acknowledge the ref neglecting to deduct a point from Pacquiao* for hitting Marquez while he was down. besides, even without the scoring error, Pacquiao* did not win a total of 5 rounds to earn the scorecard nod. nor did he win 7/12 in their last matchup, which is probably the most flawed scorecard of them all.

I never see MP JMM as redundant. I see the decisions as such, but not the fights. They are always great and both men give it their all.

It looks like Arum wins, again.

Posted August 29, 2012 4:33 pm

Yeah.. I’m actually tired of seeing these 2 fight. He needs to re-match Bradley for real.

Spoken like a true and blind pactard…congrats

Posted August 29, 2012 4:25 pm

WHy cant you keep Floyds name out of your mouth. This is a bout Pac and Marquez. For someone who hates Floyd you sure do like to talk about him a lot. How do you know foreal is a Floydiot????

Posted August 29, 2012 4:23 pm

philly shell

Arum looked at the PPV numbers and this fight looked like it would bring in the most $$ (outside of mayweather). Simple as that. Don’t buy it on PPV – send them a message that the fans deserve better.

Posted August 29, 2012 4:13 pm

…and why Vegas of all places?;expect another terrible decision(if it comes to that) if in fact this fight happens!!

Posted August 29, 2012 3:54 pm

I don’t know why everyone is saying Marquez was robbed especially in the last fight, he wasn’t. It was very close but Manny did enough to win. I know I might be in the minority but I felt he won all three fights. He would have lost the first fight had he not knocked down Marquez three times in the first round, that’s a 10-6 round, and one judge scored it 10-7. Admitting after he didn’t realize he could score a 10-6 round. The next two fights I agreed with Harold Letterman, having Pacquio winning by a couple rounds. The corner of Marquez needs to stop telling him he’s winning near the end of each fight, Roach does the opposite. I wish Manny would fight someone else. I’ve just already seen this show plenty.

Posted August 29, 2012 3:39 pm

“forreal” Truly indeed for-real you’re an ABSOLUTE IMBECILE who still accusing someone without any proof and this someone always pass the test given everytime. Remember even the Major League Baseball able able to find users of PED’s without those OSDA testing that your Floydie been using as a lame excuse!!! Move on you FLOYDIOTS!!!

Posted August 29, 2012 3:32 pm

Now….yes…now that pacquaio has shown signs of being human….NOW..pbf and his braintrust will look at a pacquaio match up…cept….hold it…pbf didn’t exactly look spectacular either in his last effort that robbed any fight fan that paid for it

Posted August 29, 2012 3:10 pm

Posted August 29, 2012 2:59 pm

forreal….you crack me up pal…great post

Posted August 29, 2012 2:59 pm

I think …for money..due to viewership interest….the Bradley Pacquaio rematch would not only benifit both sides of the stool (nyuk) fighters and mgr/promoter/trainers…as well as fight fans. It would be a good fight too. Paquaio knows he has to win…he has to connect to get the Title back…AND extend his career……He won’t be holding anything back….he’ll be focussed and tight and trim. Face it….if he loses again…he’s like Jack Dempsey after his second loss to Gene Tunney….it’s over !!!

Now…goodolkindwarmcompassionatearum……he wants to stretch what we saw..that is…Pacquaio is losing a step…he can no longer leap tall buildings…not faster than a speeding bullet…stronger than a locomotive..he’s being bumped off the mountain top by the advancement of age and time

Posted August 29, 2012 2:57 pm

Would rather see this happen than a Bradley rematch. After his recent sub-par performances, Pac is no longer an absolute red hot favourite….so if he manages to KO a faded JMM, he may actually get some credit for it.
