Marks a good boxer. Got lots of high level experience as an amateur, and travelled a bit in the last few years too. Itl be interesting to see what they do with him.

Junior: Fair comment, but Ronnie’s gotta re group. The good news is that his brother Mark’s in training again & is likely to shake up the English (NOT IRISH) middleweight division up this year!

Vassel is a realy interesting prospect IMO, and i dont think he will be put in with Gavin. Although i would love to see it. Gavins craftmanship is something to behold, and he does subtle things the casual fan probably wouldnt notice, and they probably dont find him exciting. Those 2 are head and shoulders above the rest of the division in the UK, but i think it will turn into another Hatton/Witter situation. I Know Denton already blew Heffron away, but i would like to see a grudge match between Gavin and Heffron next. Brit FOTY candidate. Also i would like to see a decent trainer get hold of young welshman Tony Pace, he is a raw tallent, and he done well against Heffron in 2011

It was an interesting weekend in the UK @ 147Lb, what with Gavin Taking out Welborn & Glenn Foot winning Prizefighter. So what next? Personally I believe the BBBofC should order Gavin vs Denton Vassell with both British & Commonwealth titles on the line & Foot vs Bradley Saunders for the vacant Northern area welterweight title! Just my oppinion!.

He looked good but he’s not a big welterweight when compared to some, that might play a part.
