Fight Aficionado

Told y’all Kovalev would win by KO. He’s crazy strong at 175 and has a great sense of timing and mixing up his punches. Now that he’s implementing body work into his portfolio I’ll take him over anyone in the division.

Kovalev makes for great match ups as well. A fight with Cloud [if we wins], Pascal, Cleverly or Dawson all would be good ones. I am not so sure they will give him the shot after what he just did.

dextraplosive, I agree. Don’t understand that at all. Stevens is a nice fighter but Alaya was kayoed by Lemieux. Good win for him but lets not forget his loss to Jesse Brinkley. Good win but what Kovalev did put the rest of the division on notice even if ESB won’t write about it.k

Stevens generates scary power in that left hook. I can’t wait to see him fight again! WOW!

Ayala should be suspended for some time because of that scuffle at the end of the bout. Behavior like that should NOT be tolerated in the sport.

Kovalev vs campillo was the main event and the much more significant fight but still almost no writing about it . Instead stevens and ayala fight gets all the attention….

kovalev is the champion in making. But what’s up with ESB?

I have been following Kovalev for some time now. He has a hell of a amateur pedigree behind him. I also thought his amateur style was well suited for the pros. The only one at light heavy that gives Sergey problems at light heavy at this point is Chad Dawson. Even then, I would pick Kovalev. Some might say that is crazy……………………….Well, just wait and see.

There are only two possible reasons why the REF let it continue after the first knockdown…1) because it was on tv and they needed rounds, or, 2) he wanted Ayala killed…in either case, the REF should have his license revoked!!! Ayala leaning like the tower of Pisa and didn’t even know his name at that point!!
