Vitali accused Lennox of dodging him and not giving him a rematch. Now he is doing the same thing to haye. If vitali doesn’t give haye a shot I don’t ever want to hear him or his fans complain about Lewis not giving him a rematch.

Posted December 29, 2012 6:09 am

Why would Vitali fight this f@ggot? He is a pain in the a-$$ diva who will want more than he is worth and he does not have anything the Klits want this time around. No title since Wlad took it from this f@ggot. F@ck you, Haye and your sorry a-ss fans.

Haye hasnt donre any thing to get another title fight right away this time with vitali . . When Haye fought Wlad haye brought some thing to the table . Haye had a small portion of the title Haye promoted him self and t made a ton of money . But in that fight Haye was exposed as a pretender the fight sucked Haye lost about 10 of the 12 rds youall saw what happened it doesnt need to be rehased any further . . In that unifaction Title fight which haye had promoted so well. Haye just wouldnt fight .It was a disgrace Haye was more then happy to let wladimere do what wladimere wanted in that fight. Which was win 10 of the 12 rds easy . Now you can blame wladimere if you want for such a boring fight but the bottom line in a professional fight the objective is to win the fight in front of you . the saying win this one look good the next is some times true .people say why di d wach or orr char get a shot they got their shot once same as haye did. wach and char showed more courage then haye but they lost just as decisive as Haye did .And no one is calling for wach or char to get a title shot right away at the other klitchko the one they didnt fight . can wach haye or char ever deserve to get a title shot again . even thou all three lost pretty lopside fights and were nevr really threats to win the fights against the klitchkos i say yes if they go back in the contender pool and start beating contendes until then haye or wach dont deserve title fights right away.

VK changed his mind after the Chisora fight. Vitali is 41 years old sred.. Did Ali fight Holmes when he was 36??? HELL NO…Ali fought unranked Leon Stinks when he was 36.

Ali fought Holmes when Ali was 38… No title or prestige at risk so why not?

happyboo you state to the best you have to beat the best you go on to say how ali beat frazier foreman liston. This is true and they were good wins . And it is why some people call him the greatest including himself . But you fail to mention how ali lost to tiny leon spinks 195 lbs? who had about 7 pro fights at the time and how kenny norton not a great fighter should have had 3 decisions against ali . neither spinks nor norton would have been able to do any thing with vitali. as far as vitali beating foreman frazie liston he cant beat them if there not around at his time .If vitali could some go some how back and fight them Isee frazier giving him some trouble styles makes fights but frazier was just to small. frazier had to much trouble with tough but would be smal today oscar bonavena who knocked down joe frazier twice . joe burgner fought joe frazier a very close decision with frazier. just because of bugners size . As far a Foreman ,if Ron Lyle could hurt foreman so bad early vitali would hurt foreman late also look how jimmy young out boxed foreman. and knocked foreman down . iron jawed vitali could take foreman early power. and keep out boxing foreman tired and reverted almost back to being a strong but very tired amature . Liston to much is unknow about him supposedly had big power koed 185lb patterson to win title . was koed by a guy named marshall did he throw the fights with ali? I dont know . that the thing dont know . but I do know this when a fighter dominates his era they have to start bringing up past guys who the say could have beat him like they used to do to joe louis, ali , lennox lewis, now the klitchko and do you know what if you can put aside all personal dislikes all of those guys are great fighter

Posted December 28, 2012 1:17 am

That’s not exactly a Mike Tyson, George Foreman, Lennox Lewis, Kubrat Pulev, Klitschko Bros, or David Haye arm… It’s not even an Austin Trout or Floyd Mayweather arm … You’ve got to work on those guns Gonzo.

Posted December 27, 2012 8:34 pm

Haye should check into a psych ward because his delusions of grandeur are becoming increasingly worrisome. But in the meantime he needs to know his place, as a mere gatekeeper for up and coming British HWs and take on the likes of Fury and Price before he’s lost all legitimacy.

Posted December 27, 2012 5:07 pm

I’m sorry…Why is this hard to believe? Haye is not a fighter who was ever really serious about being a champion. He defended his cruiserweight title exactly once. He defended his heavyweight title exactly once. He wants the big money fights. And there’s nothing wrong with that! It’s actually pretty smart. Who wants to risk serious injury three times a year when you can get the same money to get it in one shot. That said, Haye does not deserve another title shot. You can’t coast on antics and bluster for most of your career.

Posted December 27, 2012 2:51 pm

why doesnt haye or his fans belive that haye should earn his way back to another title fight by beating a few contenders . to be genours I even count chisora as one even thou the guy has lost 4 of his last 5 fights now beat 1 or 2 more and then he can challenge for another title shot

On even money or even favored I would take vitaly to beat lenox. In fight two lennox would never be able to close the gap and it would be ugly for lennox. Imo

Wlad Fan (The Haters are in Klit Denial!)

SREDMOND : Here’s why Vitali shouldn’t fight Haye: There’s absolutely NOTHING in it for him. If Haye wins (a distinct possibility as Vitali is clearly slowing down and past his prime)Vitali will look like a chump as Haye already lost to Wlad. If Vitali wins, he just beat a guy who already got beaten by Wlad so his stock won’t go up at all. Vitali also doesn’t need the $$$. There’s absolutley nothing in it for Vitali to fight Haye. I like Vitlai, but he should retire IMO as the only way he could improve his legacy would be to pull a prime Lewis and a prime himself out of a time machine and try to avenge the loss. (He’d have to be about 1/10th as lucky as Rahman was on his lucky night to beat Lewis) On even money, I think I’d take Lewis, but on even money I’d take Lewis over anyone from anytime.

Anonymous can’t take the truth. Your butt boy Haye is a f@ggot. Go suck his toe for him.

Posted December 26, 2012 8:10 pm

Why did Vitali fight Chisora??? In Vitali’s opinion—and most agreed—Chisora put a whipping on Robert Helenius.. Vitali’s trainer said to Haye, “Why don’t you fight Chisora and the winner will fight Vitali?” Since that suggestion Haye registered 2 smashing KO’s over Chisora. First he glassed him—then he assed him. The problem is one of timing. Haye had a fight scheduled with Wladimir and then claimed a back injury. In my view he wouldn’t have pulled out if he didn’t have a legitimate injury. Then he had a fight lined up with Vitali and pulled out. Why??? This time Haye didn’t claim injury. He lined up a Valuev fight in preference to Vitali. Then came the toe drama … All this makes it tougher to get a 41-year-old Vitali into the ring or get a rematch with Wladimir. Haye needs to do more.

The Greatest

Biceps have very little relevance to punching. Most punches, especially straight punches involve extending the arm, for which strong biceps would add zero power – biceps work to contract the arm, ie bend it). Please quit your analysis of arm size.

Posted December 26, 2012 5:55 pm

The Toe Fairy

Haye will never fight again because Vitali can just laugh in his sorry ass face and bring up what a sissy he was on July 2, 2011. And toe boy won’t prove himself against a lesser fighter because he overestimates what he is worth. Bye bye, a/$$hole….

Posted December 26, 2012 3:46 pm

The title of this article is right on the money. Haye has to prove himself worthy of a fight against either brother. Take 2-3 serious match-ups and then look at a Klitchko. And, actually, there are advantages to Haye doing so, not the least that both brothers will be a year older and Haye may have a better chance of the result you wish. But EARN it, not TALK it!

Sanders never posted pics of his “massive” arm development.

Posted December 26, 2012 2:07 pm

Nice to hear from you Enema Schnozzlenose… Lopez was hard and sinewy, but only had fair arm development for a featherweight. They’re generally pretty skinny. Cooney had fair arm development for Norton, Young, and Lyle—but poor arm development for Foreman. He was flattened early by lhw Michael Spinks in his only fight in the previous 5 years. Consistency is a key. Cooney became an alcohol and drug abuser after the Holmes fight. Sanders was more of a golfer than a boxer. Corrie had great natural size, speed, power, and ruggedness, but hated running or training—so his arms were pretty anemic along with his endurance and boxing skills. He’s a poster boy for people who fail to reach their potential for lack of effort. Austin Trout is not a “natural” in any sense, but his training regimen moved the needle. His arm strength is very good for his size and helps him control fights, even though he can’t overwhelm people with speed or power.

Why should Haye get the fight? Explain to me why? So he can pull both shoes off and say he broke two different toes from two different feet! He is looking to cash out and he should have done a better job when given the chance! Get out of here why not fight someone else!

Tard, those are some ridiculous statements regarding a boxer’s arms. They seemed more like you were describing your perfect fantasy date. Gerry Cooney didn’t have overly developed arms and he could punch obviously. Your man-crush Klitschko was FLATTENED by the late Corrie Sanders. Hell, even Danny “Little Red” Lopez would have KO’ed you, fool.

Posted December 26, 2012 10:45 am

@The Greatest…Thank you for pointing out that error.

@SREDMOND…We had all this with Haye V Wladimir and Haye failed to deliver. Yes of course Chisora is a tough lad but was tailor made for Hayes style of boxing. But ask yourself why is Haye doing all the calling out, again?. Yes Haye has been the only one to put Chisora on the canvas but the only one’s to do that to Haye have been cruiser-weights doesn’t tell you anything accept any one can get put down (yet to happen to Vitali).

As resumes go Haye hasn’t been in with any greats unless of course you accept Wladimir and he schooled Haye.I’m not suggesting Wladimir has either there ain’t too many about at the present in the heavyweight division.

You don’t like Vitali. At two loses and 47 fights with an 87% Ko rate. I thought the fight with Lewis was one of the best of a somewhat poor era.
I don’t like Haye. At Two loses and 28 fights and 85% Ko rate against on the whole mediocre opponents.Never saw him in a great fight, except the one he lost against Carl Thompson.

We both have our bias.

Vitali has the belt who care’s what Haye thinks or does, it ain’t Vitali or me.

These two fights would have the most interest for hw boxing if there was a vit v haye and wlad v haye after. Im pretty sure haye wants these fights.
Whether they will be good fights or not I doubt it . He is too worried about getting hit and not taking risks.
Only a haye that takes a few risks and lets fly will make these fights watchable.

Posted December 26, 2012 6:15 am

It IS vain and egotistical Gonzo…. Especially since your right biceps muscle is short, poorly developed, and not brutally strong or powerful looking.. It’s not even photo worthy for a professional boxer, which I assume you were. Your biceps should be thicker, longer, fuller, harder, and ditto for your triceps, which are practically non-existent. Take a look at David Haye’s arm development—Haye can do over 30 pull-ups from a dead hang and over 500 pushups without tiring—as something to shoot for. You don’t need any PED’s or overloads of protein—just do consistent strength training for 6 years and you’ll be there.

You can either do the natural method—which includes pushups, pull-ups, sit-ups, back extensions, wind sprints, jumps, and other exercises you can do without weights—or you can hit the weight room with a good program … There’s no “best” way—just tons of work.

Vitali and Wlad hate someone? They are good business men. They have no reason to hate Haye. If they hate Haye, they should hate Wach. They had Wach playing a clown by trying to create the “bad guy” image which came off comical. Wach is not a bad guy. Haye plays the villain well. Chisora played the villain well. He made some money. It is business. Vitali, Wlad and Haye are learning to do business well. Pac-man made a business of fighting everyone else except Floyd. He plays the good guy. He might have to play the bad guy in a rematch against marquez. Marquez gets to call the money next time around. Haye-Vitali should fight and hopefully, haye does his job getting as many of Vitali’s fans hating and hating until they just can’t wait to see haye on his back. Don’t think that will happen. Haye is took quick for that. Haye-Vitali 2013!

Doctor, Vitali can do whatever he wants but if he wants to fight a name that will generate some interest David Haye is the man to see… All this personal angst with Haye does NOT change business reality… Saying that Haye knocking Chisora out AFTER Chisora gave Vitali his TOUGHEST fight in years with under 20 bouts as a professional is disingenous… The manner in which you win counts for something and when an ironchinned fighter is knocked out it garners extra points… Chisora had been in with Fury, Helenius, and Vitali and never even hit the deck, 5 rounds with Haye and he is out for the count that means something…. Mosley stopping Margarito and Marquez stopping Pacquiao MEAN something because those fighters are KNOWN to take a good shot… Chisora is not on par with either man but he was considered TEAK TOUGH till Haye took him out…Vitali can line up all the nobodies he wants, its his legacy to further water down

Haye needs to beat Vitali to get his rematch as Wlad wont touch him. Wlad did not look great or keep his KO promise. He was his usually tentative self.

Posted December 25, 2012 2:56 pm

That is why they say the “era” is weak and shallow. Talent is lost because the sport is run so badly and too many results are just plain wrong. The chisora that fury beat was not in any sort of shape at all but vitali did not have an easy day at the office, He has admitted he wanted to quit ……….AGAIN!

Posted December 25, 2012 2:54 pm

@SREDMOND…You make very good points but what you are missing here is the Brothers are playing with Haye, this is a physiological mind game brought about by Hayes publicity stunts. The Brothers hate his guts, he had his day and he blew it, badly, he looked stupid, even to the point when the ref had had enough of his falling over and gave him a standing count, just to make a point to the crowd he wasn’t fooled by it Then the toe nonsense to the suckers who paid for the embarrassment, then the stunt with Chisora and now more shouting as loud as he can.For goodness sake Chisora was beaten by Tyson Fury months before Vitali out boxed him. Hayes fight counts for nothing. Vitali may not be able to KO Haye as he is fast but no way does Haye get to Vitali, why isn’t he calling out to Wladimir that was the one he aimed for earlier, I think you know the answer. This guy is rapidly approaching class ‘c’ celebrity statues after his sad entrance to the nonsense in the jungle which was, and still is, a failed celeb make a fool of yourself show. Haye can beat most out there but most don’t care anymore, most are moving on and passed Haye, we know he cant beat Wladimir and many believe he cant beat Vitali, Vitali is loving all this bull from Haye and will just continue to dangle the bait in his face, so what, that’s all be deserves, he embarrassed his country the night he fought Wladimir. He embarrassed his country with the Chisora stunt and he embarrasses himself now.

Posted December 25, 2012 2:41 pm

There are some legitimate knocks on the K bros – some fights are boring, they’re not as exciting as Tyson, etc…. but the “they haven’t fought anybody” excuse just gets dumber and dumber every passing year. Who have they fought? Almost everybody who was willing. At one point they’d fought like 17 of the top 20 folks, with the others being folks like Povetkin who were scared to fight.

Posted December 25, 2012 2:33 pm

Brittard that cut was NOT a fluke it was a product of the FAMOUS Lennox Lewis right hand which produced 4 other lacerations on Klitschko in UNDER 6 rounds… What happened is Vitali got bailed out because his ship was SINKING and he lost the 6th and was eating some MONSTER shots… The Dr allowed him and his fans to cling to a fantasy narrative where Lewis made no more contact with that damaged eye and Vitali safely boxed his way to a points win LMAO!! Even thought that bit of fiction is in stark contradiction to the action which saw Klits body breaking down under the shots Lewis landed… We all know Vits is an accumulation puncher who could not even get rid of Adamek quickly… Lews though OLD was a Big man and bigger one punch fighter who inflicted his damage and made a MESS of Vitalis grill… AGAIN biggest moment of Klits career was a LOSS and thats just sad.

Posted December 25, 2012 2:21 pm

Haye needs to fight big fights, he is a big fight fighter bring on Vitali even though Haye will probably lose.

Posted December 25, 2012 2:10 pm

Vitali should fight Haye or retire. Who is in Vitali’s line up? Arreola? What would be interesting? Vitali-Fury 2013 Would Fury take the fight? Vitali-Price 2013 Would Price take the fight? Vitali-Pulev 2013 Pulev would take the fight. Probably, the most dangerous fight for Vitali. Vitali-Haye 2013 and get that revenge thing all going again.

Posted December 25, 2012 1:50 pm

The Greatest

Vitali got busted up so badly, he looked like he’d received facial surgery from a completely inept plastic surgeon. His career defining fight is an ass whooping from a fat, old, over the hill Lennox Lewis on a PRIME Vitali! Just ask yourself what the end result would be if the Vitali of today had fought a PRIME Lewis? The end result would be a barbaric, one sided beatdown. Vitali is a level below all time great an that career defining loss against an out of shape Lewis shows that.

Posted December 25, 2012 10:28 am

This notion that all fights have to be pretty and orderly is more NONSENSE “he was never outboxed” BUT he still lost… I though Pac Man was doing a very good job getting to Marquez aside from that KD in round 3 but everything is NULL and VOID when your opponent knocks you out… Lewis was causing Vitali all kinds of trouble and was entitled to the fruits of the damage he wrought upon Klitschko who JUST won his last fight based on guess what??? A CUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No one has ever had to apologize for legally wounding his opponent and Lewis does not have to start, it sucks that Vitali never fought a REALLY terrific foe to beat and he and his brother never duked it out, but a 6 round TKO loss will never substitute for a win if it had Vitali would not STILL call Lewis out every so often.. He knows he missed a chance at defining himself…

Posted December 25, 2012 6:50 am

Are guys REALLY still trying to build Vitali off of his loss to Lewis in 6 rounds? Who cares about that PUNY lead EXCEPT his starving fans who search thru the garbage like a bunch of scavengers looking for ANYTHING to make him sound like he won the fight and had some sort of claim on an ATG’s or HOF level fighters scalp… Lennox Lewis ACTUALL was defeated 2x in his career and Vitali Klitschko did not participate in the momentary glory of besting him get that thru your heads… You will VAINLY have try and promote Samuel Peter as a historic win which it is ABSOLUTELY NOT….. Sam Peter was a hard hitting, yet limited fighter if that is the BEST man that Vitali beat (it is) then that only further illustrates the lack of signature wins on his resume… I encourage Vitali to hang them up, fighting another Charr or some skilllesss lackey is not going to prove anything… But if he sticks around David Haye is the logical choice…

Posted December 25, 2012 6:46 am

Couldn’t have said it better. Vitali is an all time great. Look, Haye only wants Vitali because he KNOWS Vitali is the best, but old, but still, the best KNOWN Champion out there other his great Brother Champion Wladimir Klitschko.

Posted December 25, 2012 6:09 am

Vitali has beaten many undefeated challengers and world champions… He destroyed Heavyweight Champion Sam Peter (30-1) with NO tune-up fights, after being out of the ring for 4 years, and at the age of 37.. It is doubtful anyone else could have done that.. No one, including Lennox Lewis, has been able to outbox Vitali, or get a points lead on him, in Vitali’s entire career.. He’s never been knocked down.. Vitali officially lost 2 fights, but only because he was injured.. This is the sport of boxing and he’s never been out-boxed..

Now, as far as his brother Wladimir is concerned, he’s a great fighter.. But 3 guys who knocked Wladimir down a total of eight (8) times and knocked WK out twice were knocked out by Vitali … Granted, Wladimir was beaten before he hooked up with Emanuel Steward.

spedmond in your racism you cannot accept vitali greatness it kills you . t hat a white man is the the heavyweight champ. . and a very good one at that . You say how long its takes vitali to take out his opponets yet he has the second highest ko ratio behind only rocky marciano .its because he doesnt rush in he picks his shots picks his angles he uses his reach he dominates opponets much in the same manner that floyd mayweather does and you have no problem what so ever in that . Vitali is not the hardest punching heavyweight ever. But he is a complete package sure he has aged and he has lost much of his skills . when floyd mayweather total out boxers his opponets your boxing sense becomes real kean then and you dont talk about kos then. you know floyd hasnt lost that many rds and vitali ha s lost even less Now I m not getting in to that pd4 pd thing . . But you remind me of the the old white guys in the gym just a different color who used to say how rocky marciano would ko big mouth Ali it made me sad .because I knew it wasnt true . .and even if it was rocky wasnt around any more . so guess what ali not around any more and vitali is getting real old and if he has any more rein at all it will be short. his time is over but guess what his brother aint finished yet and your going to have to deal with it and all of your smart typing and bringing up past fighters cant do any thing about it at all .

If Haye doesn’t deserve Vitali, then nobody in the division deserves Vitali and he should retire with his career defining fight being his TKO defeat to Lewis.

Haye dont deserve Vitali, If it happened Id still back Vitali to put Haye thru pain and win easy on points. Honestly some brits here need to get off that pre maddona’s ball bag

This writer like many Vitali fans strives to preserve and illusion and use puffery to overstate Vitalis impact on the division… Let me clarify, Vitali is a SINGLE beltholder who made multiple defenses against a caliber of opponent that tops out at around B level at HW and averages in the C+ range…. They hang his hat on mantras like “never down and never behind” which would NOT need to be mainstays if he had defeated some really big time fighters… The chance that Haye could make him look bad for a second would totally destroy this construct and thats not what they want.. Vitali is NOT even the top HW of this era yet his loyalist supporters will substitute his brothers testimony and him beating relative scrubs like Purrity and Sanders and proof he would conquer all absent Wlad doing the bulk of the work against relevant HW’s of the era, Bryd, Chambers, Brock, Chagaev, Ibragimov and even the ugly win against Haye. Some are not fooled!

Klits wins are fine but the reality is the quality of his opponents leaves ALOT to be desired, he is 41 and is certainly entitled to retirement but if he is going to stay around facing handpicked, weak, unknown opponents then he is going to be raked over the coals for it and credit mitigated or withheld….

Posted December 24, 2012 6:18 pm

If he fights on, then he is on borrowed time. He may not have any questionable wins but how many credible wins does he have? Not many. And 2 fights lost on injury?! Ok I’ll give you the Byrd one but I think you’ll find that out of shape Lewis caused the injury in that fight with the use of his right hand and made Vitali look like the victim of a vicious knife attack. That’s no injury, that’s a straight up ass whooping from an old, out of shape, all time great.

Posted December 24, 2012 6:13 pm

Robot, Vitalis jab is not murderous and historically despite the number of guys he has stopped he is NOT a murderous one punch fighter…On GOOD nights it takes him 8-10 rounds to stop guys he is hitting at will and totally in control… Against Chisora he was moving back getting little on his shots and Derrick was hardly marked after the fight…You are assigning some silly level of damage to Vitali in order to add to his (Vitalis) subpar performance and detract from Hayes superior performance a flatblast KO….. Same with Lewis you guys pretend Lewis was dead in the ring MEANWHILE he never left his feet and he was slamming shots into Vitalis head and face till the bout ended.. But to hear you Klit maniacs tell the story, Lewis was draped across the ropes and Vitali was freeswining while barely sweating….. More Aesops Fables from you kooks!

Vitali is not on borrowed time . he is 41 and he can retire right now doesnt owe anything to anybody, had no questionable wins , does not need to prove or avenge anything anymore. 2 fights lost only on injury. Greatest KO ratio. Never been down. That’s good in my books.

Posted December 24, 2012 6:07 pm

Vitalis performance against Chisora was relatively WEAK it was not one of his exceptional nights FAR from it…Postfight NO ONE was saying Vitali “turned Chisora to mush” all the phony accolades in the world cannot paint the portrait of Vitali brutalizing Chisora for 12 rounds…Klits got a points win which he had be be VERY uncomfortable to acheive… David Haye was the man that put Vitalis lights out… This is why the Klits are often scoffed at because NONE of their accomplishements are good enough for their fans absent severe hyperbole… And their losses always have to be glossed over by special rules or circumstances… Some of us are simply mocking you fools and pointing out the obvious….

Mormeck, Thompson, Sanders and Purrity had ALL been stopped prior to facing a Klit was their punch resistance destroyed or is this ONLY something that happens when get hit by a Klit and where is the proof??? Vitali did not even hurt Chisora, David Haye sure as hell did…

And turning him into mush? Really?! Chisora walked him down all night long yet the only time he hit the canvas that night came at the post fight press conference when he walked straight onto the hardest right hand in the room and got knocked unconscious for a few seconds before being savagely attacked with a camera tripod.

He had no reason to face him – |Vitali gave him that reason by offering him a shot if he beat him. Unfortunately Haye then gave Vitali a reason to go back on his word by obliterating Vitalis hardest opponent in years within 5 rounds.

The very point of this article is that Haye is losing money and looking ridiculous by not fighting. If he can make it rain, why doesnt he- instead he is begging 41 y.o. Vitali for a fight. He is no freaking Mayweather by any stretch of imagination. Mayweather is a champion by the way, haye … well… nobody, really.

Haye is pound for pound the hardest hitting puncher on the planet and Vitali knows this. Haye would take out every single opponent Vitali has faced in his current reign as heavyweight champion and that makes him more credible than anyone, never mind the fact he’s an ex cruiserweight world champion and heavyweight beltholder.

Posted December 24, 2012 5:48 pm

The biggest pound per pound potty mouth in boxing I’d say. ALL his fights in HW except for Wladimirs when he simply would not engage and ran, were crap fights against no – threats. He is a vulture of heavyweight division. Feasting on Vitali’s leftovers counts for nothing. My 6-y.o. can KO Chisora now.

Have you heard of Alexandr Karelin? He won 3 Olympic golds in HW wrestling . Never lost ONE point in like 15 years. Then he became a politician. And he only got silver in his forth and last olympics, by losing one point to an american who I don’t think was even that good. That’s what father time and distractions will do to the very best, and this guy was the most decorated athlete ever. Is Klitschko exempt ? No he is not. I say now that he can’t withdraw from politics, he needs to hang them Haye is a nobody for Vitaly to prove anything to him and shouldn’t be given a second thought.

Hahaha, Sred, no argument is good for you, we have been at it before. Peter was KO-d every time after Wlad damaged him. You just watched Chisora – same fate, after Vitaly . Yes I believe in some instances the damage after Klitschko fights (and not ONLY Klitschko fights) is significant and fighters don’t fully recover. This is kind of common knowledge, Sred. If you are going to dispute the fact that punch resistance diminishes after absorbing large number of hard shots to the head (and that is what happens to Klitschko opponents often) you are insane. Well, you are insane anyway. I will not get into protracted argument as I have life outside of this forum, so Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you.

Posted December 24, 2012 5:15 pm

Anonymous you don’t want to judge Vitali and Haye on their LAST fight even though the fought a common opponent? Thats pretty illogical and Chisora though not skilled was tough as nails until he got blown out by David Haye… Who did Charr have to beat in order to face Vitali? by your logic Chisora who fought NAME fighters did not have to win officially (Helenius robbery) but suddenly Haye has to do what?? Chris Arreola NEVER beat a Top 10 guy in his life and he was able to face Vitali…. Adamek has not shown any stopping power at HW and he NEVER had a sliver of the HW title like Haye got YET he was able to face Vitali…. Why don’t you get honest and say you want Klits only facing handpicked opponents if he is going to continue…. Everytime he steps in the ring with another BUM or weak foe it only damages his legacy and solidifies the reality that he never defined himself with a HIGH quality win…

Posted December 24, 2012 5:13 pm

Haye had his chances to fight Vitali several times. The first time fight was made he ran off to fight the Featherfisted Giant Sloth Valuev. Then he had coulple more chances but always managed to it up – he really was just riding Klitschko name. Now he feels Vitali is old and so heavily in polotics he won’t be able to get in top shape anymore. So he wants it badly now, oh may be to be the first man to KD Vitaly… like the vulture smelling weakness perhaps? I say screw him, let him fight young bulls first.

Posted December 24, 2012 5:09 pm

Doctor, you still have NOT discussed the Klit opponents who are fighting themselves to the top???? NONE this special protocol for Haye is indicative of FEAR… You guys would die if he somehow planted Vitali on the canvas, I would favor Klits due to his size and ability to control distance when dealing with smaller foes but Hayes explosiveness is a danger in this equation..Did Mormeck fight to the top?? How about Charr???

Posted December 24, 2012 5:09 pm

Robot, you guys LOVE to pretend the Klits ruin every fighter thats BOGUS, Vitali did not do a damn thing to Dereck Chisora that Advil and a Good nights sleep could not cure…It was Vitali making excuses for not getting the TKO NOT Chisora who was winging blows at his head till the final bell rang… The ONLY person who may have compromised Chisoras “punch resistance” was David Haye who demonstrably seperated him from his senses, the mythical attributes you want to bestow upon Klits are simply that MYTHS…. Chisora was not hurt or even sheepish postfight, in fact he still had it in him to try and duke it out with Haye at the press conference…. You guys are terrified he might catchup to Klitschko.

Posted December 24, 2012 5:05 pm

Boxing is a business more than it is a sport. If you are a sporting purist go and watch the amateurs – it will be less frustrating as they all fight each other. The Klits have to fight their obliged mandatories and then can chose the other opponents. They will go where the money is aftyer weighing up the risk/reward. If Vitali wants to fight Haye, so what… it’s a business. Although I fear the risk reward may not be favourable to Vitali.

Posted December 24, 2012 5:04 pm

Why is Haye being ridiculed for calling out Vitali because he is 41??? Klits is still a HW Champion and he is actively competing until recently…The man has not lost since Lewis took a jackhammer to his face so who the hell is Haye supposed to call out? Vitali should retire because he was NOT afraid to mix it up with 27 year old Manuel Charr, why not 31 year old former Cruiser David Haye??? AHHHHHHHHHH The threat level is too high suddenly Vitali is off limits to ONLY challengers who have a threat level of 0??

Posted December 24, 2012 5:01 pm

David Haye is a greedy egomaniac who cannot stand the thought of losing, unless its in a title fight for fat millions. He needs to retire.

Posted December 24, 2012 5:00 pm

All those saying that Haye talked his way into a HW title fight must be touched. Fighters in the lower divisions don’t have to earn a shot so why should a unified cruiserweight Champ have to prove himself. Imagine how many fights wouldn’t have happened!! All the top fighters jump through lightweight, light welter and welter etc.

Posted December 24, 2012 4:59 pm

Vitaly shook Chisora”s brain so much now he has no punch resistance. Haye was feasting on Vitali’s leftovers, he knew Chis would go down much easier and Chisora is easy to hit. Not to detract from Haye’s work which was still impressive. Also, Chisora was going forward a lot more carelessly against a smaller fighter he thought he was going to bully. He opened up more. I think Chisora gets KD-ed or KO-ed every time now if he faces punchers.

Same like Sammy Peter had a very hard coconut until Wlad scrambled his brain in their first fight, did not KO him but took away punch resistance so then Peter was KO-d almost every time.
Cheers everybody

If it was anybody else calling out a boxer of 41 other than Vitali Haye would be ridiculed, and rightly so, this is just opportunism. Fight your way to the top and not by beating somebody beaten by Vitali. The thing is I’m ashamed to say should Haye beat Vitali then its an excellent opportunity for Wladimir to unify the belts and avenge a possible Vitali loss, after all he does owe one to Vitali. Rest assured it wont happen Vitali is just playing with Haye, ok with me.

spedmond I had never saw chisora before tyson Fury fought him but after I saw a 21yr tyson fury beat him like that it wasn impressed by Chisora at all. I didnt think that much of fury at the time . Fury was a big guy trying to learn his trade . who made at lot of mistakes .I just thought less of chisora . I didnt think chisora was much of a opponet for vitali. Say what you want about that fight but chisora lost that one also pretty big .Now chisora goes into the fight with haye lossing more then a couple fights in a row and gets koed. So that doent impress me . when chisora was koed . because I judge haye on the wlad fight . Same way that david price koed harris or harrison 3 times fasteer then david haye did does that mean david price a killer 3 times more dangerous then haye not to me now price might become a threat to klitchko but he has to prove it by beating some contenders same way Im saying let David Haye get back in line for a championship fight by beating a few contenders not just by talking his way into it

Posted December 24, 2012 3:49 pm

I just love the way that when Chisora fought Vitali all the klitsuckers hailed him as a worthy challenger and yet now Haye demolished Chisora he is a bum. I guess if Chisora is a bum and yet the most credible opponent out there for Vitali at the time, then it goes to prove what we all knew anyway – that the current HW division is an absolute joke. There is no one decent out there for either klit to fight. Testament to this is the very fact that Haye is being discussed. Haye wouldnt even have been able to land a title shot at all in the Lewis/Tyson/Holyfield era when there were actually some credible opponents out there.

NO ONE needs be special, or half as explosive to fight a Klit…. Mormeck, Charr, Thompson, Wach ALL fodder and guys who provided minimal resistance… You guys fear Vitali getting caught on the chin, just be honest and lets move on…

Forget Wach – he eats steroids for breakfast. Chisora is very underrated – before Haye, he was out of shape for Fury, actually beat Helenius in a hometown decision, and gave Vitali his hardest fight in years. Haye then obliterated him in 5 rounds, leading all the ‘Hayeters’ so label Chisora a bum.

I hate to call a fighter who tries a loser but chisora is that just that he has lost 4 fights in a row and . it no excuse how he lost 4 fights in a row a 21yr tyson fury beat chisora first does that make fury a world beater I say not . and no one is calling for wach to get a title shot with wlad because he lost to wladimer as handly as david haye did both lost about 10 rds . the only thing I can say about watch performance is that he didnt stop trying againts wladimere I cant say that about dqavid haye

How many of the Klits opponents have given a BALLS out effort in the ring??? Most sit there getting jabbed to death and barely opening up so David Hayes performance certainly stunk but where was Wlad teeing off like he did against Wach who was stationary, slow and unable to respond if he wanted to??? Wlad was cautious vs Haye because he knew those counters might comeback FAST… If Haye is such a horrid choice then why is the the BIGGEST check out there for Vitali?? Everyone on this thread would watch, to see what happens or see if Haye got knocked out….Like I said before the bar for facing the Klits is LOW, they have beat a SLEW of no hopers and the crushing KO of Derrick Chisora has made Haye the hottest pick to fight a Klit… FACT

They all lost pretty lopside fights ..No one is screamiing and crying for any one of the other contenders to get another title shot at either klitchko right away. As a matter of fact Haye made a lot more money and showed alot less courage then any of the other contenders. He fought like crap and did nothing to warrrant another title fight right away .If he went out and fought a close decision or was knocked out in a figt he was ttrying to win . then the haye lovers would have a point a leg to stand . but what does haye do retires beat a guy who lost 3 now 4 fights in a row . then retires again as his foolish fans cry for this con man to get another title shot rigt away

I’ll give you a few reasons for Charr:
1) Not one credible victory on his record

5) zero chance of defeat (barring a freak accident) whilst still bringing in the $$$

All of the things that aren’t applicable to Haye.

I want ONE poster to drum up a list of reasons that Manuel Charr was so deserving of a fight against Vitali? Or Mormeck (a guy Haye knocked out) deserved a fight against Wlad…Haye is a former HW Champion, something NONE of these other goons can boast even if he did get the belt off Valuev…. Haye smashed the last guy that made Vitali earn his money and kept Klits on his heels the whole fight….The narrative is there, the money is there, the grudge is there… ONLY thing not there seemingly is Klits desire to shut this guy up with a crushing KO…. Vitali is 6″8 250, he is going to be 30 pounds of muscle larger than Haye MINIMUM on fight night…. Whats all the debate about? No one aside from the loyalists in Germany want to see him in there with ANOTHER Charr type….These fights have no meaning and they garner no historical credit beyond aside from padding his resume with a few more anonymous boxers…

Posted December 24, 2012 11:39 am

Reality is that ALOT of Klit fans do NOT like Vitalis chances against Haye after watching their performances against Chisora who proved he had a HARD chin until David Haye flattened him with relative ease…The chance arises for Vitali to end his career against a FAR smaller, name opponent and guys are treating Haye like he is made of Plutonium…I hear discussions of Vitalis infirmities, his age ect…. Fact is that he has NOT lost in 10 or so years and he would be fighting a guy smaller and older than his last opponent Charr… Difference is that Haye has FAST hands, he is athletic and he can hit…. I would favor Vitali due to his massive size and willingness to fight cautious but Haye certainly would have a shot at causing some problems if he took chances… The truth is that if Klits fights again the ONLY logical opponent economically and legacy wise is David Haye… Another handpicked opponent will solidify a career of QUESTIONABLE quality…

Just to put the size difference into perspective, Haye weighed 210.5 to Wlads 242.5. That means Wladimir weighed 14.1% more than Haye – this is the equivalent of a 147 pounder fighting a 168 pounder. Now would Pacquiao have the balls to even step into the ring with Andre Ward? Haye is actually pound for pound one of the best boxers on the planet and doesn’t get the credit for it.

At the end of the day, he was unified cruiserweight champion of the world, fought the best at his natural weight and managed to win and defend a heavyweight belt for a few fights when in reality he is basically a cruiserweight who doesn’t bother to cut to 200pounds. Despite his performance against Wlad, he’s still more credible than anyone else the Klits have faced recently and you have to give him credit for his performance against Chisora who only became ‘a bum’ after Haye disposed of him, not when Vitali had his hardest fight since Lewis against him.

Posted December 24, 2012 11:08 am

Why should Haye care about fighting the biggest fight of his life, a fight where he’d make more money in that one night than what he’s made in his entire career? A fight against the biggest and most dangerous man since Lennox Lewis? I CANT POSSIBLY IMAGINE WHY!!! Though some of this article makes good points, the fact IS Haye has always been after making easy money for the least possible risk. At heavyweight he’s been a bigger joke than those 2 brothers. He lost to the weaker chinned one due to his ikkle toe. He wont get the fight with Vit because he DOES NOT deserve a title shot! What’s he done since losing to Wlad? Oh yeah fighting a Vitali leftover in a fight he said he would not take. Haye is a joke, and any fan who follows him joins him in that ranking. When Vit and Wlad retire the scene will be open for him to do something again, but he’ll just be the best of a bad bunch so who cares?

I mean no disrespect with my reply. Do people know Haye other than his British and/or Klitschko fans?

Posted December 24, 2012 10:32 am

…. who he faces. Vitali wins though.

Another ill-informed article from this kid. If Vitali fights on the chances are that it will be Haye.

Fight Scribe

I always get dubious when journos make calls on the careers of fighters. Journos and fighters are two different beasts, journos are underpinned by writing and analyzing and fighters are underpinned by heart that compels them to fight. Its so easy for a moronic journo to tell a fighter to not bother to fight someone but if fighters listened to everything journos wrote half the fights we see wouldn’t happened. Dude who wrote this article should stick to being a below average journo and let Haye concentrate on fighting because that’s what he does and all the journo does is write about the fact…and anyone can do that.

the brits don’t need Haye, we have Price, who would KO wlad now………………

Posted December 24, 2012 9:35 am

Just been browsing thru box-rec’s ratings. Arreola’s next opponent is a pretty good puncher and could stage an upset. He defeated Price and Helenius in the amateurs.
But I’m wondering why did box-rec just drop him 14 notches in the ratings?

Posted December 24, 2012 9:09 am

The highlight of Haye fans lives is coming here and making up excuses for why he deserves another fight. What else would they do if they weren’t here whining? Watch their man fight? Hard to do when he fights once a year. I agree – give Price a chance and let the brothers keep mowing down Brits.

And you’ve heard it here first lol! David Price is good enough NOW to beat either brother and this will happen if the fight is made. The only thing that will stop this is Prices team playing it safe risk wise.

I agree with this. If Haye would have done that the author suggests, he would’ve been criticized by other authors (or maybe even the same author). Bottom line is: Never listen to authors.

Haye is seriously gonna be starting to fall behind price and maybe even fury soon. In fact I’d give Price a better chance against Vitali. I think fans now want to see the klits in with fury and Price now, it became clear in haye vrs vlad that no one small no matter how much skill they have can compete with the brothers. Now it’s time to let the bigger guys in there and see how they cope with that challenge. Let’s see how they get on when it’s them giving away 3 inches in height and reach advantages.

Haye is only well known in Britain.

Posted December 24, 2012 8:27 am

Vitali has no “name” on his record except a TKO loss to Lennox Lewis and like it or not Haye is a two weight world champion who is known around the world because of his offensive big mouth so I believe if Vitali has anything left he will want to roll Haye out like a carpet and retire.

Posted December 24, 2012 8:22 am

Haye f’ed himself out of a Vitali fight. You don’t p!ss someone off and then expect to get 8 figures out of them. Haye has himself to blame for this fight not coming off. He already lost once to Wlad anyways, no one wants to see the toe fairy flop around again.

Posted December 24, 2012 8:12 am

Its a pity the good ol USA hasnt any good heavyweight fighters because bet your last dollar the USA klits fans would soon stop supporting the Klits !!!!!

Posted December 24, 2012 7:10 am

If Haye fought Fury and beat him, he’d become almost surely the N1 WBC contender… a no brainer, except for Haye it seems. Vitali is working in politics, a more then full time job. He has been doing this for some time now, guys like Chisora and Charr he is wiling to fight as a ‘semi’ prepared pro, but not haye I think. So for Haye I only see one option and that’s becoming the N1 contender…

Posted December 24, 2012 4:31 am

Some Brits want to give Haye another title shot because he wasnt koed in the fight with wladimere klitchko . Well guess what I dont think there isnt a contender in any weight division who couldnt go the distance with the champ in their division. if f they fought a total safety first fight with the champ the way Haye did . Haye actually made a fool of himself in that bout . Did haye win more the 1 round in that fight ? did he try and win more then 1 rd in that fight? Even announcer Roy Jones who is no fan of either Klitchko was snicker ing at Haye towards the end of the fight .Some thing I never saw him do as a announcer before or after that fight. Haye would have gotten much more respect and would have proved much more worthy of another title shot if he fought a good brave fight even if he went out on his shield in the fight>But there is no way this pretender should be able to talk his way right back into another title shot without proving himself again.By taking on some legitiment contenders

easy pay day for haye but vit nearly quit against same man? the fury chisora fight he was well out of shape for that one.

Posted December 24, 2012 2:34 am

belive me david haye didnt fight chisora because vitali or his managment told him to . a guy like Haye does and gets what he wants he fought chisora because the guy lost 3 fights in a row chisora a guy a inexperienced 22 yr old tyson fury beat took to school a few yrs earlier and the guy hadnt won a fight since . it was a easy payday for haye . .and what haye knew would a bunch of fools rally cry for haye to step right back in to get a title shot again rather then fight his way back into title contention with some real contendershonestly if tyson fury beat chisora again would it prove any thing?haye is a con man and a farce

Posted December 24, 2012 2:31 am

Haye motto is he who fights for the title ande runs away gets to fight for it another day .

Posted December 24, 2012 2:17 am

He did jump thru the hoop by fighting chisora – who vitali has said he nearly quit against. basically haye wanted to leap in and his foot would have influenced that. it was swollen and injected – but it was not the reason he lost. Injuries feel worse at lower moments and he needed to be 100% not less

Posted December 24, 2012 1:55 am

it amazing even lennox lewis said it a few fights back that vitali had fought so well for so long but like every heavyweight champ before he lost to father time I really want to see him quit before a lesser fighter defeats him

This article belongs on boxing news 24. Long live the queen

Posted December 24, 2012 1:41 am

No wlad is no warrior fact is he has a suspect chin . so he fights to win fights from a distance hiding his chin which works very well for him . And I do understand its not exciting to watch but its very effective . With that said it was david hayes job not to let wlad fight this way. something the con man promised he would not let happen . Now I dont despise david haye for not being able to get inside and fight wlad . Not many have been able to this . Wlad is big strong and fast and knows how to use it . what I dont like about haye is he got 15million for the fight. lost about 10 of the 12 rds threw himself on the ground never tried to fight. after the fight he took off his slipper and was showed his toe as the reason he didnt fight . Before the fight I saw he was jumping up and down like a kangaroo and in the fight the guy was running away pretty fast . Then to add insult instead of taking the money and just going away .or fighting a few real contenders and try and undu some of disgraced he did to boxing and his fans the guy acts like he should just step back nto another title fight . and some people like you naneless belive this also

Posted December 24, 2012 1:38 am

at vitali’s age he wont last with haye, price or pulev. he is great but just too old now. fighting guys like charr says it all

Posted December 24, 2012 1:18 am

compared to fraizer vs ali it is also lamentable – however wlad is no warrior is he? I also understand foot injuries do reduce mobility – had he called it off that was that – had he said before – wlad would have stamped on it.

Posted December 24, 2012 1:14 am

nameless you talking about david hayes bad toe? did you see andra berto he fought like hell with both eyes closed against guerro .funny thing berto never stopped trying to win that fight

you trying to tell me its not cherry pickinhg supposed wlad or mayweather or even tyson fury beat a guy who lost 3 now 4 fights in a row you telling me it wouldnt be called cherry picking how can this guy keep fooling youall if chisora loses another fight they start calling for his licence to be revolked

Posted December 24, 2012 1:00 am

does this Haye ever stop being a coward ? HAye got a shot with the easier brother Wlad Haye refused to fight when he got the shot . Now he sees vitali is old haye finally has the courage to step in the ring with him .hey if vitali retires maybe haye can fight Ali he is still alive.

Posted December 24, 2012 12:52 am

how is it cherry picking? It was because he faced vitali and had a brawl and klits manager suggested it……… is that cherry picking

Posted December 24, 2012 12:49 am

chisora lost 4 fights in a row . cherry picking a easy fight doesnt make you a instant contendor . I dont know what this guy got on youall but beating a guy after he has lost 3 fights in a row doesnt demand a title shot right away

Posted December 24, 2012 12:43 am

Its NOT a rematch!! Tho I do want to see that also

Posted December 24, 2012 12:42 am

I dont belive it was hayes bad behavior that screwed him out of a rematch .Larry Holmes had bad behavior . Bernard Hopkins had bad behavior who had worse behavior then mike tyson ? but folks wanted to see them fight and becaus once they got in the ring they fought . haye talked big was paid big but forgot to fight . no one wants to see him in a rematch

What makes me “slime”? He did fight chisora for that purpose………….I do agree after rd 7 haye had to put his foot down but you know………..bad toe. A fit haye takes this.

Bad Business Move

When the Wlad/Haye fight got made, I could not wait to see it. Then, when it finally happened, it was one of the biggest letdowns of a fight I have ever painfully had to endure. When it comes to this fight, I struggle to give two ****s about Haye/Vitali getting made if I am being truthful.

Posted December 24, 2012 12:09 am

Bad Business Move

Haye has basically screwed himself out of the fight. If he had handled himself with some dignity he may have landed another big pay day. K2 is basically disgusted with his behavior over the past couple years. Haye is basically an idiot that cost himself a ton of money with his unprofessional behavior.

Posted December 24, 2012 12:06 am

Chisora spat in wlads face – he did nothing. Chisora got in hayes face – he did something. Its wlad who is known for his roid reduced balls.

Posted December 24, 2012 12:04 am

Beltless B itch

No one gives a s hit about Haye except Haye and his dumb a ss fans. He has no belts and no leverage. He has shown what he really is in the Wlad fight. No balls. No one wants to see that again.

Posted December 24, 2012 12:02 am

Why should he? because its a threat to K2 interests to face a skilled fighter for once?

Posted December 23, 2012 11:53 pm

Wlad was as tentative as ever – he didnt kick anyones arse.

Posted December 23, 2012 11:52 pm

Haye and his fans are delusional. They said the Klits would never fight Haye and when Wlad does, and gives him his 50-50 and then kicks Haye’s ass, they start the same $ hit over again and say Vitali is afraid of him, ducking him, blah, blah, blah. Ever get the idea the Klits and most of the rest of us are sick of this guy and don’t want to have anything to do with him anymore? Wlad beat him, end of story. Haye should go fight other people and come back in a few years.

Posted December 23, 2012 11:51 pm

I like sporting contests – no cash cows like WWE or a K2 “fight”

Posted December 23, 2012 11:47 pm

No i can accept that the champ is someone I dont like (as a boxer at least) but things like the charr fight, the JMM fight, the fact that results are bogus, ref’s are inconsistent – when did wlad get called in his illegal holding ever?, peds, bribed judges, bribed councils and bodies….basically its a mess. The best must fight the best after public negs and under proper testing………….champs get some allowances but not 95/5 splits and insane K2 contracts.

Posted December 23, 2012 11:45 pm

Was it as embarrassing as wlads clinching?

Posted December 23, 2012 11:42 pm

The performance Haye had vs Wlad – more so for somebody that runs his mouth like DH does – was EMBARRASSING. Many fighters can go the distance in survival mode.

In Lennox vs Vitali, the latter gave a good account of himself vs an ATG HW. He was winning before sustaining some bad cuts, else he most likely would have won the title that night.

So boxing is a joke to you b/c you don’t like the current HW champs… what a fan.

Posted December 23, 2012 11:34 pm

Projecting your own standards there. Basically boxing as a sport is becoming a joke and the K2 legacy is as much of this generations is………..they served themselves not the greater good. Haye was not beaten badly, he had a fat lip after the fight and that was about it. See Vit after Lewis for “beaten badly”.

Posted December 23, 2012 11:12 pm

how exactly does wlads 2012 show he cares for his fans or the sport? A midget, a guy who cant punch and a statue………..great for boxing? No!

Does david haye ever tell the truth? no! 1)The k wont face me. 2) Im going to ko wlad k. 3) I’m going to retire when i’m 30. 4) If the k won’t fight me i’m going to retire. 5) I lost the fight because I hurt my toe. 6) If you give me another crack at the title I will put in more effort this time. And on and on and on. he is a CON MAN.

Deny Haye and his dumb ass fans. Don’t pay him. Let them sit on message boards and talk about what “would happen” if he fought Vitali. Let them call Vitali “scared.” Let them call Klit opponents bums. Whatever they need to do to feel better about themselves.

I dont think Fury is a bum. He has got serious about it

Posted December 23, 2012 10:14 pm

Helenius and Fury are bums, Vitali is old and would lose. I guess Haye is just too special for HW boxing even though he has done nothing there. This guy is the biggest myth in boxing history.

Posted December 23, 2012 10:12 pm

It wont be in North America – dont worry. Wembley would be best but wont happen – in fact the whole fight wont happen. Too risky

Posted December 23, 2012 10:12 pm

We didnt see wlad doing much either really. Just jab jab grab and he did not get his promised KO. They both went safety first. Its not all on Haye. Its a clear pattern with Wlad to be safety first and dull

Posted December 23, 2012 10:11 pm

See his comments after wlad held him up after 12 rds with the unskilled chisora. Watch that and think………..he deeply fears haye is too fast and he is!! Haye Wins.

Posted December 23, 2012 10:09 pm

He proved he can do better than vitali against chisora – that was in a ring

Posted December 23, 2012 10:07 pm

Hero Toe Zero

Got to love the comments about Vitali “knows” he would lose to Haye. Pretty sure Vitali is the last guy that is afraid of Haye considering he had a ringside view of the toe fairy’s p ussy performance July 2 of last year.

Posted December 23, 2012 10:06 pm

El Coyote

Haye and his idiotic fans are the kings of trash talk. That’s all they can do. It’s when he actually has to prove something in the ring where he runs into problems. Then he is useless. It’s always about what he “would do” against a K Bro but we already saw he can do nothing against a Klitschko.

Posted December 23, 2012 10:02 pm

At this point in his career, Vitali may very likely lose the fight and probaly knows it.
Haye on the other hand has not much to win when he fights bums like Fury, Helenius etc.

Posted December 23, 2012 10:00 pm

He did earn it, that sociopath of a manager the klits used said it – see the presser from Wlad Haye…………that fight happened – Haye won and did far better than Vit! You know it. You also know Vitali WANTS or WANTED this fight and was calling haye out himself…………get the fight on or boxing gets a little less credible – and that is getting hard these days.

Posted December 23, 2012 10:00 pm

Sense of Entitlement

Here’s an interesting concept – How about Haye EARN a fight with Vitali and THEN call him out? In other words, fight someone other than s hitty Chisora – who had lost 3 of 4. In fact, fight 3 or 4 times and look good and THEN call out Vitali. Everyone is tired of you, Haye, besides your fan club of idiot Brits.

Posted December 23, 2012 9:54 pm

I would like to see price or fury face wlad. No complaints here. Of course you have to get in a position not to be paid peanuts in the contract like chisora was

Posted December 23, 2012 9:44 pm

Brittards just want to see someone from the same place they are from fight. Otherwise, they don’t follow the game, really. Instead of supporting Price or Fury, who have no chance at ever beating a Klit but at least they would probably try, they cling to this Haye s hit when he already proved he can’t beat a Klit and does not want to. All he wants is money and to finish the fight without having his head caved in so he can go into acting or whatever.

Posted December 23, 2012 9:40 pm

How exactly is it worse than Wlad vs JMM??? An all time low in HW boxing

Posted December 23, 2012 9:38 pm

North Oakland “Ice City”

Trouble is, “fans” don’t want to see Haye fight again. ONLY Brittards do. And Haye vs Vitali IS NOT a good match-up. Haye already proves he has no balls against a Klit. He will just flop around again, collect his check and retire. And the joke is on all you idiots that keep supporting him.

Posted December 23, 2012 9:37 pm

He fought chisora as per klits managers request. After that fight was agreed they threw a contract at Haye which he obviously could not accept- they can then say “haye turned it down!” – totally misleading and unethical

Posted December 23, 2012 9:37 pm

Tony Thompson lost to Wlad. And then he fought about five times in a row and won them all to earn a second chance. Does Haye want to take this route? Nah. He just thinks he can retire, come back and fight one time and then go right to the front of the line. The balls on this guy. He deserves to be ignored.

Posted December 23, 2012 9:32 pm

oops belt!! Vit retires or faces haye – another charr fight is just another lame payday and bum for the CV.

Posted December 23, 2012 9:31 pm

deny boxing fans of a decent match-up for once at HW……….I’d like Andy Murray to play a bunch cherry picked players so he can defend his us title with ease……….tennis doesnt work like that. The best play the best! If you hold the best you have a status that clearly Vitali has lost. You know it! Haye takes this and vittles know it.

Posted December 23, 2012 9:30 pm

Haye’s a real treat alright. As Larry Merchant said during that fight, Haye claimed Klitschko fights were boring but he was just as BORING against Wlad as ANYONE. NO ONE cares about this part time, fake fighter, who is just chasing one last pay day. Maybe a few Brittards. Retire, moron, everyone is sick and tired of your act. Any BUM
on the street deserves a shot at EITHER Klitschko because this p rick already had his shot and shat the bed. This clown is a drama queen and already proved that he loses track of his balls when he gets in with a Klit. OK, offer him what he is worth based on his performance vs Wlad. Something like 95-5 or 90-10. Of course he won’t take it. So then tell him to go pound sand.

Posted December 23, 2012 9:18 pm

Deserve??? Why did charr “deserve”? Why did that little french guy “deserve”? Haye is a treat and K2 fans know it

Posted December 23, 2012 7:30 pm

He doesn’t need the money and doesn’t have any interest in boxing unless he can get a huge payday against Vitali. Haye fight 4 times in one year? What fighter fights 4 times a year once they start making the kind of money Haye has made the last few years? Haye should not even be discussed. He doesn’t deserve another Klitschko fight, ever.
