McCall KTFO’d Lewis with ONE punch, got outboxed by Bruno later, hahaha. A man with a drug habit and a man unfit to box who had a breakdown in the ring in the return with Lewis……Still, he FLATTENED Lewis first time with ONE right hand and sent him to La-La Land too like Rahman did, Loollllllllllll!Posted June 1, 2014 8:27 am
Hasim Rahman. Beaten and whupped many times in his career. Knocked FLYING out of the ring by Maskaev and KO’d TWICE by the Russian, but FLATTENED Lewis and sent him to La-La Land with ONE punch, hahahahahaha!Posted June 1, 2014 8:20 am

I don’t understand why the IBF changes the division of profits to Klitschkos advantage. The organization should do everything possible to motivate his next opponent. Otherwise, it will just again be another one-sided, boring fight.Posted May 31, 2014 5:37 pm
What “Mongerlovic” said should have been the end of the conversation/debate about wlad.
Lennox Lewis was LEVELLED and TKO’d twice by single shots from McCall and Rahman. Wlad’s problems in the past were more attributable to conditioning and stamia.Posted May 31, 2014 9:45 am

The Klitschkos fought MANY times outside of Germany… They each fought in many countries including many times in the United States as professional fighters.
How many countries have Mayweather and Ward fought in as professionals?????Posted May 31, 2014 3:13 am

SREDMOND, Wlad is 38 years of age, older than Floyd, with 65 bouts behind him, is STILL the premier Heavyweight in the game in THE flagship division AND is the longtime champion in a ten year unbeaten stretch. Most HW champs are finished at his age. Wlad is a great Champion whether people wish to acknowledge it or not. Klitschko deserves more kudos than many belittlers give him, especially after coming back from defeats that would have wrecked other men. Michael Grant never recovered from the wreckage of the Lewis defeat and he was touted at the same time the Klitschkos were. It’s not Wlad’s fault no one can seriously threaten him. He’s kind of very, very good in an understated way…Posted May 30, 2014 2:37 pm

wach will be fighting looks like in february. they were trying to get a chisora vs wach fight or a jennings vs wach fight. it almost was jennings vs wach on the bute pascal card. that would have MADE that card!!! lookin forward to see what that beast does. he can flatten people. Dino, Wlad statistical dominance is impressive but there is a reason he is really on the backburner of boxing despite being HW Champ for years and having most of the belts..The mans opponents and the division itself are pretty damn bad… His run against Chagaev, Byrd, Chambers, Brock and Ibragimov was solid yet there is just TOO much padding in that resume for all questions to be answered, add to that his TKO losses to 3 underdogs ONE a complete bum and there are reasons Wladdy is suspect…Mayweather has multiple HOF level boxers on his docket and while Ray Leonard had an unusual number of ATG matchups he also expired earlier and could not adhere to the craft the way Floyd has at 37… At 34 Terry Norris was embarrassing the HELL out of Ray Leonard who was more physically suited to 154 than Mayweather ever was YET Mayweather fought a prime Canelo and looked like 1 million bucks doing it… Fact is Floyd is the LEGIT p4p number one fighter in the sport 4 or 5 years after the point where SRL was pretty much living off past glory… Again Ray has the superior WW tenure but FMJ is a BEAST and ATG freight train that has not yet been stopped…Posted May 30, 2014 1:34 pm
Bears, are you REALLY trying to sell Sam Peter as something special? “he is a warrior” HAHAHAHAHAHA! Peter was a flash in the pan who was chronically out of shape and undertrained, he was the predecessor to Klit opponents like Arreola and Odladnier Solis… Peter was done in his early 30’s this man was not fooling anyone and his under commitment to his craft caught up to the chubby Peter quickly… You want to sell him as Great in order to buff up Klits resume, you are the same fool that will position a Peter as a better career fighter than Cotto who Mayweather beat… You simply DON’T know boxing and your bias is SO toxic when combined with your limited intellect that your arguments quickly go off the rails and become ridiculous..Posted May 30, 2014 1:29 pm
SREDMOND, Wlad doesn’t compare to Ali for charisma, rivalries or thrilling fights, true…just like Floyd doesn’t compare to Sugar Ray Leonard for the same reasons…Wlad Klitschko is an ATG Top 10 HW all the same, unbeaten in 10 years, has nearly all the belts and he’s racking up the numbers…By the way, Ali sure got some dodgy decisions back in the 70’s too!!Posted May 30, 2014 1:28 pm
Bears, the Klits did NOT seize control they won their titles from guys who did not really run anything meanwhile the Klits were around when the bosses of the 90’s were still active yet they could not knock off any of these OLD men..Vitali came back and beat Peter in what? 2008? fought Danny Williams for a vacant title? Wladdy was getting demoed by Corrie Sanders and Lamon Brewster… Again Wlad is a Champion but these are AWFUL times for the division and the fact that he could not compete with his brother really killed a piece of his legacy, the HW title is not meant to be shared…Posted May 30, 2014 1:25 pm

to see what the talk about sam oeter was all u have to do is listen to emanuel steward and everyone else. go back and watch the tape. peter smashed on the scene! it was until he went through the klitschko meat grinde that he was ruined and demoralized. when u fight wlad twice and vitaly once u have gone through a literal human meat grinder. peter is a warrior and that can not be taken from him neither can all his ko’s. in terms of brawler peter is on the list if best heavyweight brawlers like Forman lyle and shavers for sure. he fits right in there and i do not think he is the worst of those three. pre meat grinder i would put my on peter over them guys. foreman might beat him but he would get walloped in the process and possibly loose himselfPosted May 30, 2014 1:22 pm

Sam Peter is a really sad case, the guy was NOT that good who did he beat? you gonna tell me James Toney? who was a blown up MW fighter? Chagaev who had been stopped a couple times before Peter? Chris Byrd was a good fighter but not fit to fight SHW’s he dropped down to 175 to finish his career taking a beating… He had no pop at the weight and did not have Holyfields toughness.. Ike Ibeabuchi laid him out… C’mon man trying to set Wlad up to be remembered like Ali is making me piss my pants with laughter… Mormeck, HORRID fight with Haye, HORRID fight Povetkin, OLD Tony Thompson, NON WORLD CLASS like Wach and Pianeta, an OLD WASHED UP Crusier like Mormeck… Again Wlad is a HOFER and he has a terrific right hand but he will never be in conversation with Greats like Lewis, Ali or Foreman… He lacks the defining fights, defining opponents and is like a sedative when he boxes at times… Sorry guys :(Posted May 30, 2014 1:16 pm
Bears, the Klits were around for 8 years before they claimed the era that does not speak well of them.. During the 90’s when Lewis, Holy, Tyson and Bowe were around they were not making waves… Wlad was still getting knocked out in what 2004? Vitali was getting busted up by a portly (fat) old Lewis in what 2003? The Klits NEVER took over the HW division they just benefited from the Old Guard moving on… Wlad would NEVER had been a fit opponent for Lewis until 2005 or 2006 NOT when you are getting stopped by Corrie Sanders and Brewster a few fights apart up until 2004, then having Sam Peter bouncing you off the canvas until you finally decided not to stay down for a fightPosted May 30, 2014 1:10 pm

Chris Byrd, David Haye and Sam Peter are roughly the equivalent of Jimmy Young, Ken Norton and George Foreman back in the 70’s…Byrd is better than Young, Norton and Haye more or less on the same level and Foreman is better than Peter. Wlad is an ATG Top 10 HW for sure.Posted May 30, 2014 1:05 pm
Bears, I think you meant “lone” not “loan” HAHAHAHAHAHA! “LONE” means by yourself, acting solo “Loan” is what happens when your mother give you $$$ to make your child support payments with the expectation that you will return the funds. yeah your sorry you ohuk head thanks for apologizing and showing your weakness. lolPosted May 30, 2014 1:03 pm
Bears, you are a little TOO angry about this fight if you felt that Vitali had a strong legacy you would be whining about the beating he took from Lewis and make no mistake it was the WORST of his career… Who else put 60 stitches in that mans grill/? Lewis had harder nights with Rahman, McCall and Mercer…Again I know this hurts but these are cold hard facts! Mercer went the full 10 with Lewis, even Holyfield went 24 with Lennox and Vitali could not do more than a 6 piece homey! Don’t be angry just be honest and admit that the BEST fighter that Vitali actually beat was the lowly Samuel Peter…Posted May 30, 2014 1:02 pm
SORRY Bears that’s NOT a “Fact” that’s the info that was provided via “Compubox” which is NOT some sort of scientific tool its based on the eyes of other men.. That said Compubox data means little to people who have been watching boxing for decades and remember when bouts did not even have that murky “mumbo jumbo” you act like these are field goal statistics which are CLEAR “shots attempted, shots made” 2 or 3 pointer… REALITY is that Compubox cannot account for the damage that is wrought by a punch THATS why that tool is not part of official scoring… Vitali LOST CHUMP!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!Posted May 30, 2014 12:58 pm
SREDMOND, I’ll tell you one thing… You’re comedy gold and NOT to be taken too seriously, lol!Posted May 30, 2014 12:55 pm
The Klits opponents have no real shot at the HOF based on the fact most have NEVER even been HW Champions LOL! nor did they have impressive runs at a level of comp that makes the discussion relevant… Guys said “David Haye” how many HW fights did Haye have? He had a very solid career at Cruiser and a short run at the top for HW his career has been cut short by injuries so lets get real… Adamek did LESS than Haye at HW so he has NO shot… Chris Byrd is a damn good fighter but a HOF HW? There are NO epic contests or rivalries to generate real discussion Joe Frazier fought 3 bouts with Ali and got in with Foreman to his detriment this current slew of HW’s is not producing compelling matchups or a serious climb up the ladder, when Arreola vs Stiverne 2 is the “big deal” then you know the division is in trouble.Posted May 30, 2014 12:53 pm
FACT is vitaly OUTLANDED lennox every round and 66% of the time did it with use of only one eye! cyclops style SUCKA!!! IMPRESSIVE!!!

FACT is that Klits did NOT “outbox Lewis in every round” he easily lost 2 rounds which still had Klits up 4-2 something I have no issue with because that’s NOT an impressive lead with 6 rounds to go and your face being chopped off the bones by hard punishment.. Bears and Dino think that Lewis actually lost a 12 round fight that ONLY went 6 rounds they probably also think that Lewis was KOed by Vitali but the TV cameras did not pick that up!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!Posted May 30, 2014 12:43 pm
why not put wladdy on ppv,you would really get your monies worth.Posted May 30, 2014 12:38 pm
Lewis did not NEED a rematch and truthfully the notion that guys get 5 shots at the HW Champ is a recent notion.. Vitali was a late replacement who did well but did not cut it when the smoke clear…Lewis was NOT close to beaten and Vitali learned that the hard way, guess Lewis put his head inside Vitalis mouth also and produced all 5 wounds in that manner? LAUGHABLE! Klits was the victim of clean blows, he was unaccustomed to being in the ring with another big guy who could BANG…Posted May 30, 2014 12:33 pm
wes, I understood your post. I rate Joe Frazier as a very good fighter…I think either Klitschko would be favored to beat him prime for prime.Posted May 30, 2014 12:28 pm
Wes, If “Lewis was a beaten fighter” then why did he NOT get beat? you GROSSLY overstate Vitalis effectiveness during the bout where were the KD’s and if Lewis was “beaten” then why was the fight not taken out of him? Remember you are declaring him a “beaten fighter after 2 rounds” because he WON the 3rd and produced that laceration with a CLEAN right hand in the first minute of the 3rd round… Basically your thesis is ridiculous LOLPosted May 30, 2014 12:24 pm
that cut made lewis come on. he was a beaten fighter before that cut, that was cause by the lace of the glove. and made worse by lewis digging his head on the wound. that cut didn’t happen lewis would have lost. that why lewis didn’t want to rematch. he knew that cut wasn’t going to happen a second time.Posted May 30, 2014 12:19 pm

You’re in total denial when you hold on to some perception that runs counter to reality even after having been enlightened. There are tapes that show Vitali holding on to Lewis for his dear life in the final moments of the sixth round after being clobbered by a beautiful right hand yet some people are able to see that differently. Vitali’s eye was about to pop out from the pounding and the doctor saved him.Posted May 30, 2014 12:07 pm
wes, prime Klitschko, either one of them, beats prime Frazier…Posted May 30, 2014 12:07 pm
BEARS, yes, I think Vitali outlanded LL in near enough EVERY round. I think Klit takes him in the rematch barring cuts again of course. Lewis had a big edge in experience in their fight but Klitschko was gaining confidence and experience from every big fight too…Posted May 30, 2014 12:05 pm
also if tunney, schmeling, sharkey, baer, braddock, charles, walcott, maricano, patterson and johansson fought in the klitschko era they also wouldn’t be hofer or champion.Posted May 30, 2014 12:04 pm
maybe if frazier fought in the klitschko era, not only he be not a hofer not a champion either.Posted May 30, 2014 11:50 am
and not only that DINO lennox was loosing every phase of the game. compubox he was clean sheeted. he literally got outlanded EVERY round of the fight and that kind of boxing domination never happened to lennox any other time. this happened because of vitalys domination and control of range and having better mastery over the range and ring generalship. it was lennox who took on tthe role of the “little guy” and had to close the gap and hold and hit for 90% of what he was able to land. there was even a big argument with the hbo announcers about his holding and hitting. lennox reduced in so many ways and in so many phases it was remarkable and no wonder why lennox wanted no part of a rematch. all of lennoxs strengths were actually vitalys especially use of the range but vitaly was better at those strengths and owned lennox at his own gamePosted May 30, 2014 11:40 am
BEARS, you’re right. Lennox waited until the WBC told he HAD to face Vitali again or be stripped..then he retired. I thought Lewis would rematch Klitschko. LL a great champ, but these are the facts. Both Klits boxed on older than Lewis. Cuts were an inconclusive ending to this fight when Vitali was winning. Cuts always spoil a fight, especially this one.Posted May 30, 2014 11:33 am
*eating you alivePosted May 30, 2014 11:28 am
vitaly was fine in the fight. nobody criticizes vitaly for what happened vs lewis and nobody thinks much of cuts. did ya notice haw hbo did a close up of vitaly after round 2 and he had no dMage to his face then within 15 seconds of round 3 he was slashed open? nuff said. again nobody thinks highly of a cut its not indicative o anything. the only remarkable thing is vitaly fought 66% of the fight only being able to see from one eye and outlanded lennox EVERY ROUND! the crowd must have thought so too as it boo’ed lennox and cheered vitaly.Posted May 30, 2014 11:13 am
Vitaly and my momma retired me!Posted May 30, 2014 11:11 am
Bears, Vitali would not need the WBC, Steward or a filthy inbred Redneck like you to stickup for him if he had JUST been good enough to ACTUALLY win the fight against Lewis! he won 45 or 46 bouts against lessor guys but he was impotent against Lennox the Lion when the smoke cleared and like his CHUMP fans settled for a “Moral Victory” ie applause and pats on the back when the Undisputed Championship was the REAL prize! the announcement “The Winner and STILL HW Champion of the World Lennox Lewis”Posted May 30, 2014 10:59 am
SREDMOND, Lewis catching Vitali with a punch does NOT mean’decking’ him in any way, shape or form, at least not to any reasonable person. Please tidy up YOUR terminology if you want to make clear points. Both Klitschkos were/are HWChamps in their own right and Wlad is running up great numbers, ya dig?!? Sure, you know Wlad’s dominance alright and it seems to be breaking your heart, lol!!Posted May 30, 2014 10:57 am
Bears, YOU are the guy who did not watch the fight! in your world Lewis was just getting hit without landing a single punch in return, he was on his back, he was KOed YET NONE of that happened.. It was see saw for a few rounds, Vitali clearly won the 2nd round and then Lewis was coming on in the 5th and 6th Compubox means NADA except to blind novices like you who accept the word of a TV bean counter they NEVER met….I don’t need Compubox to see that Lewis was landing the more effective and damaging blows the 5 wounds he artfully etched into Vitalis face are testament to his superior power, and grit when the fight got into the trenches! The arm punching Ukranian fought hard and wanted to win but he was NOT good enough even against an Old, Sloppy Lewis…. You still wanna see a rematch after all this time???HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!Posted May 30, 2014 10:56 am
Bears, if “Vitali outboxed Lewis every round” then what were the scores of rounds 7-12???? AHHHHHHH there were no scores because Lewis had won the 6th round VERY clearly almost taking off Klits head with those uppercuts and the cumulative damage of the prior rounds forced a compassionate Ring Dr to spare the Ukranian people from having to listen to a ruler with only ONE eyeball telling them how they are gonna have more bread and vodka under his regime….HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!Posted May 30, 2014 10:51 am
Sure Bears! Vitali did so well that he LOST and he absorbed a ton of punishment in the process.. You continually describe a fight that NEVER happened and your narrative makes no sense in light of the fact your man was in the shower and getting stitched up after the 6th round… If Vitali was SOOOO dominant how on Gods Green earth did he lose and fail to be physically available to fight the latter 6 rounds of the bout?? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!Posted May 30, 2014 10:49 am
you have watch out for sretardmon. he is a afro american racist. he comes to every klitschKO thread to to bash the klitschkos…… what could possibly be the point? they are white, and sretardmon is BITTER. lolPosted May 30, 2014 10:32 am
lennox was not coming on in the last round. he was outlanded in round 6 and got dog walked from one side if the ring to the other LITERALLY.
meaning vitaly drove lennox with punches from one side of the ring to the other just imposing his will. ring generalship and aggression to vitaly round 6.
how is anyone “coming on” who is getting outlanded and dogwalked? you do not know what you are talking about.
“but lennox landed a mean upper cut” who gives a phuk about one shot? the guy got outlanded every round and had to hold and hit and work off the clinch to score ANYTHING. he looked like utter a$$ and got retired a biatch. even emanuel told him to rematch vitaly. he tried todight anyone not named vitaly. wbc said we will strip u. lennox said then i retire. world said your a biatch and vitaly hS your number and boo’ed you.
i mean the dude got outlanded every round and nearly knocked out inside 2 rounds vitaly just let him survive. shape and conditioning was no factor yet inside 2 rounds. lennox just got OUTBOXED in every phased of the fight. just facts. at NO TIME was lennox “coming on” he got outlanded EVERY ROUND and dogwalked round 6. LOL
do these people watch tape? or are they like retardmon and just read wikipedia official records?Posted May 30, 2014 10:30 am
Dino, you are LOST in terminology but that’s fine “decked” refers to either getting punched in the face or actually hitting “the deck” that said Lewis DECKED Vitali and busted his face wide open and just to be greedy he left him with a total of 5 lacerations assuring Vitali 60 stitches and Lewis the WINPosted May 30, 2014 10:15 am
SREDMOND, thanks. You were 100% WRONG in claiming Lennox decked Vitali with a right hand though. Both Klitschkos were/are HW Champs to be reckoned with and Lennox knows that! Wlad and Vitali both boxed on older and Wlad is breaking numbers records, ya dig?!?Posted May 30, 2014 9:49 am
Dino you are 100% correct it was Rahman and McCall who stopped Lewis NOT Vitali…And there was nothing “lucky” about that shot Lewis had been blasting guys with that right hand for over a decadePosted May 30, 2014 9:42 am
SREDMOND, Lennox Lewis didn’t deck Vitali at all. He cut him and lucky for him too! You must be getting confused. It was Lewis though who DID get KTFO’d twice with one punch by McCall and Rahman!Posted May 30, 2014 9:26 am
Lewis being down a couple of rounds is TOTALLY unremarkable in the annals of boxing history! we have seen a guy down FAR more only to comeback and score 12 round KO’s…Klit fans are irritated because their men have rarely been in the ring with the type of foes who are not gonna wilt or have the size and firepower to turn a bout with ONE shot..Vitalis night was soured by the 3rd round when Lewis decked him with that right hand and made Klits have to fight from an uncomfortable position (bleeding all over the place) Klit fans love to envision an orderly destruction of a compliant opponent (Adamek) as opposed to the violent and disrespectful return fire of a bonafide ATG who still had thunder in his fists… Vitalis lack of crunching power proved his undoing, his arm shots irritated Lewis but did not create real damage nor stop him, instead Lennox heavier hands opened Vitali like a guy getting a triple bypass in the 1960’s…Posted May 30, 2014 9:17 am
Vitali FAILED he had the PERFECT scenario to buff up his resume by facing an OLD Champ on his way out, who had been recently KOed… This notion of “a good effort” automatically brands the boxer who is happy with that distinction “good effort” as the inferior fighter… Champions want WINS and nothing else!! Maidana gets lauded for “A good effort” because he outperformed LOW expectations but he did not win, the SAME is true of Vitali who gave Lewis a good scrap for 6 rounds but simply did not get the job done, nor could he finish the fight… So what is Klits gonna be remembered for? “A Good effort” and that’s simply not the stuff of legend especially when you had an old, sloppy version of the champ in the ring and you end up looking like you took a shotgun blast direct to the face…Young Lions like Holmes took Ali, Young Lions like Tyson took Holmes, against Vitali, the Old Lion showed he was not giving up his position easily.Posted May 30, 2014 9:09 am
Its WAY too early to say “Stevenson is running from Kovalev” boxing has a business component and reality is that Kovalev has NO fans that can make some real paper… Stevenson is 36 and needs to make hay while he can, if both keep winning a clash is inevitable next year at the latest both fought more than 2x this past year…Posted May 30, 2014 9:05 am
Just dropping the facts guys Wlad has a really nice statistical career but a quick look behind the numbers shows very little depth as it pertains to quality of competition and thus the story stalls…Truth is the Klits started in the mid 90’s and had many years to get a solid name on their dockets, even an old faded Lewis proved to be too much for Vitali in his last fight, the same Lewis who had gotten clipped by Rahman a couple of fights prior… Sadly the Klits thrived during a HORRID era for HW boxing and that’s just how its gonna be remembered HORRID…To actually agree with K2 on one point OF COURSE Wlad should make more money than his foes and way more at that, these other guys are relative NOBODIES and cannot bring in the cash this is boxing not a discussion with your brother…Posted May 30, 2014 9:02 am
Interesting that only ” certain ” people object to the ” split ” ! A fight , is like any other money making deal . If you’re the BEST and on top , you command the most money . When someone want’s to challenge that and BECOME the best , he has to pay the price , understood ? What possible objection , could anyone have , as to how much money the CHAMPION commands for his fight ! What is the price limit for IMMORTALITY ? You get to be champion , you can demand more money . Frankly , I look at it as another way to prove his dominance , meet his demands and earn a shot at immortality , or stay where you are and remain a nobody ! In any case it is completely immaterial ; because the only people that complain , are the same ones , who would find ANYTHING to complain about Wlad , anyway .Posted May 30, 2014 8:20 am
Experienced Vitaly or Wladimir in their prime both beat any Tyson and any Holyfield. Iron Mike probably gets DQ’d too!!Posted May 30, 2014 6:07 am
A well written post below. Except off the stupid Jamaican part. But yes, Lennox was coming on strong. There is no such titanic Hw fight on the horizon right now. bears, you should read the post below, it will help with your decade of torture, anguish and denial.Posted May 30, 2014 5:14 am
You know, I`d like to have seen another Lennox-Vitali fight, and there’s not much doubt Lennox checked out because he didn`t need to be going in with this kind of monster again. That said, neither Klitschko has had to go in with another Klitschko either, so while I agree Vitali put an exclamation point at the end of Lewis career, Lewis isn`t a coward.
He’s a bit of a bull$h1tter, but most people with a bit o da Jamaican in dem are a little bit of a bull$h1tter.
This isn`t like Stevenson running from Kovalev though. Lewis did share a ring with the guy, and while Vitali was outppointing him, he wasn`t destroying him, and Lewis was the one looking stronger in the last round.
That uppercut was just…well…….it was nasty…..it was thrown nasty and taken like a hero…but the man doing the throwing in that last round was LEwis, and the man holding was Vitali.Posted May 30, 2014 4:37 am

SREDMOND – you love to mong off that Wlad hasn`t beaten a world champ of HOF’er etc.
But really, think about it – you can`t beat a world champ (he has by the way) when you hold all the belts all the time.
And how do people get in the HOF – by winning titles.
So how is any HW going to get in the HOF from this era if the Klitschkos are stopping them ever getting titles.
What the KLitschkos have been doing is keeping the lawn mowed. The HW division is a perfectly manicured lawn, and the moment a challenger steps up, Wlad is there with the whipper snipper, and Vitali might go over with the hedgestrimmer.
You want to punish them for being TOO DOMINANT, and not letting weeds crop up who can fight eachother for spurious titles and get voted into the HOF because they are American.
This is called being a window-licker.
You should stop your crazy campaign of hate. Even Denzel would read your posts and go “Say what Malcolm X?”Posted May 30, 2014 2:52 am
Lewis was losing on all scorecards… Lewis was awarded an unjust decision over Vitali Klitschko.
Therefore, Lewis was booed out of the arena… Klitschko was cheered out of the arena… Lewis tried to resume his career without giving Vitali a rematch… Lewis was ordered to fight Vitali or give up the title… Lewis retired rather than risk fighting Vitali again… Vitali won back the Heavyweight Championship, and was never beaten for the rest of his career, fighting through age 41..
Vitali was never outboxed or outpunched throughout his 47-fight career. Vitali stopped 2 heavyweights who stopped his brother Wladimir. Vitali was never behind on points — and he was never knocked down in his entire career.Posted May 30, 2014 2:41 am

Mike Tyson, made it to 45-1? By Wlads 45th bout he had been knocked out 3x and had lost to NO ONE who compares to Holy who handed Tyson 2 losses before he faced Lewis.. One of them a DQ, Ray Mercer will NEVER AND HAS NEVER gotten Wlad the cred at 41 that Lewis did by adding Tyson’s scalp to a cache that includes HOFERS like Vitali and Holy to his credit ONLY Holy finished the bouts Tyson and Vitali both could not hear the bell and Vitali only went 6 rounds shortest of the 3 fighters.. Just facts kids!Posted May 30, 2014 12:24 am
HaHaHa Byrd would beat a washed up Holy 9 out of 10 times in his prime Chris Byrd could not handle Holyfied DREAM on… Evander was Undisputed and 4x HW Champ, meanwhile Byrd ended his career getting KOed at Cruiser or 175… The careers of Byrd and Holyfield who I both respect are not equal, one man was a very good undersized HW the other man was Undisputes HW Champion and Undisputed Cruiserweight Champ…Byrds beating an over the hill Holy is already in context..Sorry guys but I am RIGHT..Posted May 30, 2014 12:16 am
Yep Redmond Holy had just got done giving Rahman a beating, the same dude that later scorched Lewis, the fight before Byrd. Byrd would beat Holy 9 out of 10 times, wrong style for Holy, just like Iggy and any other quick skilled boxer. Holy went on to fight for 9 more years after Byrd. mike was more accomplished? who did he beat? plus its irrelevant in your premise/argument assigning scalp value to tyson for holy and lennox because of a “win streak”. has nothing to do with what mike accomplished in the 80s.
what did tyson accomplish anyway? he beat an old holmes? i think mercer beat lennox. mercer is a warrior. even ko’ed ufc heavy champ tim sylvia. but mercer can stand on his own boxing.
but im curious what did tyson “accomplish” in your books?Posted May 29, 2014 8:53 pm
Laj, EVERYONE knows that Holy was Past it when he fought Bryd then went on a nice losing streak.. Ya think 24 rounds with Lewis took something outta him? Not to mention the draw he was gifted with is considered one of the WORST decisions in history! No question wlad does not want to trade if he does not have to.The problem is that by taking on the role of boxer instead of just puncher he has not been a fan favorite. He is the hardest hitting heavy out there however.stiverne is shorter but he also is one of the hardest hitters ,which makes this contest, very interesting.Posted May 29, 2014 7:53 pm

Wlad is the boss at heavyweight so he should get 80/20 if not more. Only reason the IBF has anything to say is Pulev is his mandatory. We don’t see the governing bodies dictating terms in any major fights except mandatories.Posted May 29, 2014 6:02 pm
Povetkins chubby azz is NOT a HOFER these HW’s of this era are held in such LOW regard absent Wlad and Vitali that its pretty comical! I remember when David Price was “The new Wlad” same with the LAME Helenius who got a gift decision out in his homeland against Chisora! Right now “Pulev” is the flavor of the year, Povetkin struggling against Marco Huck after fighting OVERCOOKED fighters like Rahman and Boswell certainly evokes no images of a HOFER and neither does avoiding the only credible chance at a HW title against Wlad for many years then failing miserably?? HOFER’s??? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! This era produced two HOFERS who produced thier legends with stats not quality names… That is ALL… Bears will tell the Lion King that Povetkin and Co are HOFERS low level intellects love to consort!Posted May 29, 2014 6:02 pm

Squared Circle, you are CRAZY trying to sell Ray Mercer as a HOFER and don’t forget he was what 41 when Wlad beat him? Mercer was a damn good fighter but nobodys HOFER, Pulev has NO shot he has not done a damn thing even though his career is not currently over he is not even a World Champion.. David Haye did NOT accomplish enough at HW to warrant a trip to the Hall are you freaking kidding me? you think he is gonna eclipse Evander who was Undisputed Cruiser and HW Champion? the only reason you are projecting Haye into the Hall is pure desperation you don’t even believe that… Povetkin? NOT a shot in the World the Boy has NEVER been a legitimate HW Champion in his life Chris Byrd is the only guy with a slight possibility he even he cannot make the grade, based on what? moving back down to LHW? the number of defenses? or Vitali quitting against him? Basically you want intelligent posters to suspend disbelief and say “wait 15 years and see who makes it” NONE of the aforementioned boxers have a real shot.. TWO of the guys you named never even won a legit World Championship and Haye and Byrd did not defend enough or beat anyone of enough significance to warrant induction…Now your blue collar mind is desperate and frothing with rage so you will say “Byrd beat Holyfield” SORRRRRRYYY he beat a SOOOOOOO past it version that its a joke so vacate the thought! Do you see how my chess game is TOO superior to your foolish thinking.. Fact remains that the ONLY Klit that was in the ring with a legit HOF fighter FAILED to get a victory instead preferring to beg for rematches and undergo facial reconstruction…HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!Posted May 29, 2014 5:51 pm
Squared Circle, of course you can have a good guess who is going to eventually be inducted into the HOF. Floyd and PAC obviously will one day, Tony Thompson and the Aussie guy he just fought will not, oh even he had Klit stumbling and panicking for a second. Actually, the number 1 contender is OBLIGATED to receive 25 percent of the purse, not 20.
Pulev is being cheated out of what he is owed- with the IBF’s blessing.
This is flat out disgusting and wrong.
It is against the IBF’s owb rules.
Look how Groves tried to get more than 15 percent of the purse against Froch, and was denied because he was only the 6th ranked contender.
The rules don’t bend for Groves, but they do the stanky leg for Wlad.
K fans must be proud.Posted May 29, 2014 5:14 pm

That kind of thing chaps SREDMONDS A$$Posted May 29, 2014 4:31 pm
What wlad is doing is no different from what mayweather has done with his opponents in terms of money. mayweather even thought he deserved all the money against pacman 3.5 years ago! Which of course he did not deserve that kind of cut. This is just one of the many pitfalls of not having one all encompassing conference like the ufc.
It enables guys like floyd to cherry pick, dodge the best matchups, and short change opponents, and call too many shots. The fans just want the fights the best fights. How much money floyd makes means nothing to me.Posted May 29, 2014 4:29 pm
This is not justified and seems to be based on greed. If that split is for a mandatory challenger then Wlad’s meddling could well have just upset the applecart and set the standard for all champions to attempt to renegotiate the split for all mandatory challenges. If it is for a voluntary defense then it doesn’t really matter what the IBF think – if the challenger accepts it then it is out of the sanctioning body’s hands. They could offer the challenger 5% if they wanted, the IBF still get their percentage regardless of the split.Posted May 29, 2014 4:28 pm
Even I KNOW SREDMOND is a WORTHLESS poster!Posted May 29, 2014 4:27 pm
If Wlad beats Stiverne, he will have just unified EVERY major HW belt after an unbeaten ten year run, so yeah, it would be a big deal. Even clueless people should be able to see that.Posted May 29, 2014 4:25 pm
History is gonna call wlad potentially the best ever. Thats what SMASHING records does. Wlad has fought plenty of name, fighters and champs now. pulev and stieverne only serve to add that list. so as he is breaking records he is doing it with guys we recognize as namers. Wlad defeating afro americans is not a must. Plus the afro american heavy weight boxer is almost non existent or irrelevant at this point. So I do not know what SREDMOND says when he says people do not know the guys wlad has fought.
That may be true in SREDMONDS project. Outside of the project though thats not the case. SREDMOND seems to indicate that wlad needs to slay afro americans to attain greatness. Nothing could be further from the truth.
It’s good it’s not SREDMOND and his hate determining greatness or how history looks at boxers. His list is all afro american. ask him about it sometime. LOL. dudes a fraud and an embarrassment. embarrassed like broner, mayweather, and adonis are NOW!!!!!! BOO YAH!!!!!Posted May 29, 2014 4:25 pm
Squared Circle you speak as if Stiverne and Pulev are some sort of massive challenges? Of course Wlad should prevail these fighters are not coming up the hard way unless you think that beating Arreola and Grandpa Thompson on points are big deals? They are sadly a couple of the best names around at this point, but this depleted ERA cannot be masked by the flavor of the month… Wlad can keep reeling off statistical wins but none of the these fights have a defining nature.. If he knocks off Pulev or Stivernes blocks history is gonna say? Who were they?Posted May 29, 2014 4:13 pm
Wlad does not strike me as a DUCKER because there is frankly NO ONE worth ducking in the HW division..The man has fought OVER 60 bouts and never beat a HOFER or strong World Champion in or close to his prime… Pulev, Stiverne they are all not big deals at HW and after feasting on the Mormecks, Wachs, and Pianeta’s of the World Klits should be well rested to beat on a Stiverne of Pulev…Posted May 29, 2014 4:05 pm

They try to find every angle to avoid him.
People claimed that Wlad had undue power, and I doubted them.
How in the hell does Pulev deserve less than 25 percent of the cut- which is MANDATORY by IBF guidelines?
Pulev doesn’t need to eat?
Wlad is disgusting with this lowball machination.
He wants Pulev to turn down the fight because of the low pay.
He wants nothing to do with Pulev.

JJ, this is just an incredibly boring era. I don’t think those eras were this boring surely? Maybe I am just nostalgic but this doesn’t match what I grew up watching in the 90’s. Much of the 20’s, 30’s, 40’s, 50’s, early 60’s and 80’s weren’t the best eras for heavyweight boxing, so if this one is terrible as someone below says, it isn’t on its own. It’s really no worse than many other times. Dempsey sat on the title for three years, the title swapped hands a lot in the 30’s until Louis who often met opponents of dubious quality, Marciano beat many old men/greats past their best, Patterson met some average boxers, Liston didn’t last long at the top, Ali gave most everyone a shot, deserving or not, which made for some one-sided spectacles, likewise Holmes etc. Wlad v Pulev for instance, if it takes place, is as good or better than the majority of the bouts in HW history…Posted May 29, 2014 1:08 pm
If Pulev accepts the 20% w out a fight it shows to me that he is not just in it for a payday, that he understands that becoming the champ brings all the money you need. Klitschko already has an arena in Germany booked for Sept 6 so I would expect the fight to he announced within the next couple weeks.Posted May 29, 2014 12:49 pm

Who actually cares what percentage Klit gets? Good luck to him. I think if the challengers got 5 percent they might show some ambition to try and win. They all look defeated before they go in there. I respect Vlad but he is reigning in a terrible era, no fault of his. And Don King will keep Stiverne away forever, he would get ko’d in a couple of rounds.Posted May 29, 2014 12:34 pm

Wlad seems to try to lure Don King’s Stiverne belt into his game and it’d be a preferred fight since there’s the missing title, but my gut feeling tells me Don King will to everything to milk that paper title, so after failed negotiations and “busy” Stiverne excuse I will not be surprised when Wlad-Pulev annonced in sept-oct 2014. Would definitely like to see both, no matter in which order, I’d like to see Wlad get his chin checked by either guy! :)Posted May 29, 2014 12:04 pm

Fair play, the champ should call the shots. You see Mayweather, Pac etc doing the same, why not Wlad.
Contenders in the past used to fight for free, literally – just to get a shot for championship, it’s a lottery, if you win, it’s a massive win, if you lose, you wasn’t good enough to be a champion yourself. At least this made contenders of the past motivated to win, today they go just for the money cheque.Posted May 29, 2014 11:53 am
