paulie is the man. i am looking forward to him defending his belt and getting another shot at hatton. i really think he can and will beat ricky this time around(no disrespect to ricky, cause he is a great guy and fighter) i just think paulie never should have lost to him the first time. paulie just wasnt himself that night, but cant take nothing away from hatton he did his thing in there. anyway paulie good luck ill be watching and rooting for you.

E in Denver

Got to give Malinaggi his props. The guy has hung in there & built up a solid resume. Unlike some of the other fighters out of Brooklyn(Judah, Bowe, even Mike), Malinaggi doesn’t freeze, panic or fold under pressure. The guy wins on solid boxing & quickness.

night train

Paulie’s got the heart of a lion, and that’s what real boxing fans appreciate most. Yo Paulie…..

GO PAULIE ! I get sick of the bad mouthing of Paulie. He always gives a 100%, and got a solid beard. No he doesn’t have one punch knock out power so what he boxes to his strengths!

Woop Woop

Why is it that this guy always looks like he is one step away from slapping on some make up and starring in a Les Girls Revue.

i love paulie because more than anything the dude is obviously a huge huge huge fan of boxing he truely loves it. Put up a great fight to win the title he could keep the belt for a while

LennoxFan, Malignaggi has had four welterweight fights and he has won all of them–two by TKO. Paulie earned his present belt by way of a 9th round TKO over Senchenko who was undefeated prior to facing Malignaggi. No, Paulie isn’t known for his power, but he sure as hell displayed some when he won that belt. I’ll say it again: Paulie went overseas and took a title from a champion who nobody else wanted to bother with for two years. Now that Paulie has the title too many boxing fans are criticizing him, and potential opponents are taking him too lightly. One thing Paulie always has been and that’s a masterful boxer. And you never know, he may have substantially more power as a welterweight. Like I said: 2 TKOs in four fights. That’s damn good. I can’t wait to see him fight Cano.

LennoxFan, I completely agree. And he runs his mouth way too much. Can’t stand this fool! Hope Cano knocks his out and sends him into retirement for good!!!!!

Most of the guys on the list had something Malignaggi is missing…the ability to throw a stinking painful punch.
