Frampton will lose … badly!

He’s getting more everything… He’s world class but still developing.

Fight Aficionado

I haven’t seem Frampton in awhile but last I did he had nice skills but not as much power as advertised. Sounds like he’s getting more pop now. True?

Santa Cruz wins easy, he’ll totally out class Frampton and beat the living crap out of him and KO him.

I’ve been following Carlos the Jackal’s career for sometime now, so it will be fun to watch him step-up and compete at the next level. Frampton vs. Santa Cruz should be a great fight, although Leo will have a tremendous reach advantage. I believe that CF’s short T-Rex arms will be his greatest liability vs. elite-level competition at 122lbs. But he does have good power for Super BW. So if he can continue to slip punches, get inside and land bombs, who knows.

that mexican was the drummer in la bamba.

Frampton has skills. Look at him to win by Tko on Santa Cruz.

Frampton v Santa Cruz for the WBC title. Boom Boom! :).

Frampton is a tough fighter. But this is a tough div. Frampton..Cruz..Rigondeaux..all great solid fighters.

Posted April 5, 2014 9:14 am

it was impressive but im worried frampton is going down the nathan cleverly route – cleverley just did the same thing march forward take a few shots and just overpower a guy he never honed his skills – but the problem is when you get to the elite level where the opponent is quicker and hits harder and 8 week training camp isn’t going to get rid of those bad habits – Frampton won’t be standing straight in front of santa cruz with his left arm pawing out waiting to wing in a big right hand because he won’t be able to get away with it. frampton should be working on his boxing skills not trying to blast out infereior opposition as he wont get away with it at top level

Frampton is the Mandatory for Santa Cruz title now, it’s not about offers, if they can’t do a deal it goes to purse bids.

Posted April 5, 2014 8:03 am

Poor Frampton, now his promoter will tell him “We offered Santa Cruz the fight and he declined” … which will actually mean Santa Cruz will get offered peanuts and say go to hell. Poor Frampton, his promoter will waste his talent by feeding him eastern european bums for the next 2 years. Just wait and see. The story will always be the same … “we offered so and so the fight and they turned it down.” … which will always mean those fighters were never made proper, serious offers. I like Carl, what a shame he left Eddie Hearn, Carl may never get a world title shot.

Quick Jab

He would KTFO Quigg any day too.

Quick Jab

I think he would take Rigo out too,Carl’s a very smart fighter unlike the Flash and his patience would find him landing on Rigo, Rigo’s negativity will lose him the fight or it might make him actually fight and not just pot shot.

Quick Jab

Well done son, finished him much sooner than I thought, Santa Cruz is next to get KTFO.

Posted April 5, 2014 5:52 am

if you’re no.2 in a division and you think you have no chance of beating the champion, you still have to fight for the title. that’s your job.
what does not being ready mean?

Posted April 5, 2014 4:32 am

knuckle butty

Frampton proper chinned that mo fo! What a night of boxing 4-5 KO’s in a row brilliant!!

Yes, you’re always an @-h0le! But you often discriminate, and I know this because I see you doing it all the time. This fight was an eliminator match for the WBC title, idiot. So why are you even taking about anyone avoiding Rigo — who holds the WBO and WBA? The next logical and realistic step was for the winner of this fight (Frampton) to challenge Santa Cruz for the WBC title. The winner of that fight should face Rigo for all the marbles. And that’s what’s known as a boxing lesson, son!

Here it is in black and white for a liberal clown subscriber HBO Harold Lerderman / Larry Merchant / Manny Pacquiao Nut-Hugging modern Day clown.

Barry McGuigan offers Rigo 99% of the purse because Frampton is all that?

Or, you and Bawwy chase Leo “Sayer” Cruz and pretend you’re the champ and know what the games all about.

Posted April 5, 2014 1:56 am

I don’t discriminate!

Win Medals, Lonsdales, Golden Gloves, World Ams, Olympic Gold, World Titles (WBC).

Tell promoters to go fcuk themselves and what YOU’LL PAY THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chase them accolades down, Own them, Defend them … against equals .

….. or go rob old ladies for a living!

Carlos the Jackal is a solid up and coming fighter and potential title holder at 122lbs. IMO… he’s underrated by most.

Hey HHLondon: Are you always such an @-h0le?

Posted April 4, 2014 11:34 pm

He had not interest in continuing after he’d felt that left hand, the guy was there for a pay day and hoping he could catch him with a lucky shot, poor show but frampton looked as good as he could given the opponent

Daas, Plastik Paddy’s are all over the gaff.

Posted April 4, 2014 10:22 pm

Forget the count and the ref, an old man with 7 losses was no test for Frampton.

Frampton vs Rigondeaux

Posted April 4, 2014 9:57 pm

Somerset, that flood water must have clogged your brain you muggy apologist. The ref counted til 9 and then waved it off at 10. Even if he listened to the counter (which is false because the ref synced with him), he didn’t rise until it was waved off at 10 (raising at 9 is a amateur). Does Cazares even speak English? Did the ref’s hand signals not provide enough info? Face facts, he bottled it you Herbert.

Posted April 4, 2014 9:41 pm

Cazares was listening to the counter who started at 2 – not looking at the ref’s hands. Unfortunate

Well said Leonard Frampton has already proven that he is not a one trick pony against kiko he had to take it as well as give it. Frampton v Santa Cruz really good match up where ever it takes place
