Floyd Mayweather exposed (Why he ducked Manny Pacquiao).Posted February 8, 2014 7:09 pm
Pacquiao doesn’t back off if he hurts you… When Hatton was hurt Pacquiao closed on him like a monster. Pacquiao had Marquez down 3 times in one round and needed another 30 seconds. He was going hard for the kill—but didn’t get it against an ATG fighter.
However Pacquiao started at flyweight—so his power disappeared when he got to 147… He can’t really hold 147 so he comes in at 145… That’s into the ring… He’s could knock Bradley out if he catches him perfect—but that isn’t likely. Bradley is a good defender—but not a super great defender. The same goes for Pacquiao—his defense is good not great.
Pacquiao has advantages in punching power… maybe a hair in speed… and he’s probably still a little ahead of Tim in boxing skill… ring smarts… and overall experience.
Tim has an edge is in age… chin… and he’s the fresher fighter; not as ring worn. I like the matchup.Posted February 8, 2014 5:14 pm
Bradley did all boxing fans a favour! Indeed Pacquiao acts as if he’s sparring. I figure that once he gets Bradley hurt, he’ll still back off. Religion!Posted February 8, 2014 4:19 pm

Manny Pacquiao has now stated that he will NOT be the Mr. Nice Guy he’s been of late, which means serious trouble for Timothy Bradley and any future opposition. A man of the streets can leave the streets, but the streets will never leave him. Manny will now resort to the mentality he had as a young man roaming the streets for survival. A cat that’s cornered against a wall will fight back with extraordinary strength, reflexes and vision. This will be Manny Pacquiao on April 12 when he faces Timothy Bradley at the MGM Grand. I recall watching one of the Rocky movies when Apollo Creed yells at Rocky saying “There is no tomorrow, There is no tomorrow, There is no tomorrow, There is no tomorrow.” For both Manny and Timothy, there is no tomorrow. Only one will continue leave the ring as champion. Manny Pacquiao will be that one. Timothy Bradley has questioned Manny’s Killer Instinct of all things. He dared to think that the greatest offensive fighter of all time has lost his inner ability to destroy and dismantle any opponent. What happens when you throw a water balloon at a wasp nest? Disaster, confusion and non stop attacks. Manny will not stop and punish Bradley for as long as this fight lasts, which should be from 4-9 rounds. Timothy need only be reminded of the Manny’s reign of terror as he broke bones, bodies and PPV records. He massacred Oscar, Cotto, Mosely, Margarito, Larios, Barrera, Morales, Hatton and others. The beatings we’re inhuman. Why do you think Floyd Mayweather refuses to fight Manny? He watched Manny almost send his opponents to the morgue. We must be reminded that boxing is a sport. People don’t understand the monster that Manny Pacquiao can become inside the boxing ring. He’s been criticized for not knocking guys out. They say he’s become soft, and there may be some truth to Manny’s compassion, but the true reason is that Manny loves life and refuses to take any life inside the ring. he will not permanently hurt anyone. he has love for his fellow human being, and he will go soft on opposition only to save their lives. Remember Margarito, Hatton, Diaz. These were fighters on their way out. Thank Manny Pacquiao for his compassion. Timothy Bradley best not call out Manny’s Killer instinct. Things could get seriously painful for him. Manny is the best.Posted February 7, 2014 9:22 pm
Right Ray I dont think its Manny but Arum who tells him what to say in the press. But its very naive and srrogant to overlook Bradley he is a tough SOB, Ruslan hit him with some sht and he didnt stop. So what makes Manny think he is just going to go in there and dominate him if he couldn’t do it before. He is talking about Floyd and who he is fighting next like Bradley is not even there? He is in for a rude awakening for sure. Hell what was the last undefeated fighter Manny even beat?Posted February 7, 2014 7:03 pm

Against Bradley, Pac can afford to be aggressive…but not overly aggressive, the right punch can knock ANYONE out, even if it’s not that hard. Although Bradley is not known for his power, Pacquiao (or anyone) would be a fool to think he can’t be hurt in there, there were moments when Bradley had Provodnikov backing up and Ruslan’s face was pretty banged up. Bradley also dropped Peterson and had Abregu stumbling around the ring.Posted February 7, 2014 5:24 pm

Great sporting events like the Super Bowl, NBA Championship, US Open and the World Series create excitement throughout the world. Sports is what many of us live for. Our childhood heroes are created for the most part through sports. Today, one man stands as above all our sports heroes. His name, Manny Pacquiao. Manny began his professional boxing career as a 16 year old. Raised in poverty and living from minute to minute could have made any person give up and quit life. Manny Pacquiao , as he does in his boxing career, fought his way out. He would not let life’s obstacles deter him from helping his mother and family get a better life. These were the cards he was dealt, and he accepted them. Back alley brawls for pennies, selling bread, sleeping on the streets, under bridges and with no education, Manny Pacquiao is a miracle. One has only to look at Manny Pacquiao’s story to see hope, strength perseverance and success. Forward to today, Manny is all over the television networks. He is the talk of the world, and not just the sporting world. His publicized rematch with Timothy Bradley is epic. The world has been somewhat depressed since the robbery of Manny’s welterweight boxing title taken by the hands blind boxing judges. The outcry of boxing fans and people in general still lingers in our hearts. A bad dream that won’t go away. April 12 is a day that is permanently marked on our calendars. A day of redemption , vindication and truth. Manny Pacquiao will make a monumental entrance to the boxing ring that will set off a thunderous applause and standing ovation that will set off car alarms for months. It’s rumored that there will be a home coming parade for him once he arrives. The fighting congressman, Pride of The Philippines, Biggest Little Man, King Of Courage and the Peoples Champion all describe Manny Pacquiao. I’m feeling a bit sorry for Timothy Bradley because no one gives him any credit. He is a good fighter with a tarnished record. He does deserve this rematch, but it’s going to end badly for him. Timothy has nothing to offer. He will be fighting an emotional man that will become unbeatable on that night. Don’t miss this fight or you will miss greatness like never seen before. Trust me, this night will be special. Manny is the bestPosted February 7, 2014 3:19 pm

Pacs relentless. i just watched barrera vs prince naz. barrera had beaten erik and naz and then went to fight pac in like 02 or 3. pac beat him……pax res is nice and performance. on the history of boxing i dont know if there is anyone more relentless. really something special…. morales, barrera, and already beat bradley once! WOW!
We dont even have to speak in vague generalities like BOXTRADAMUS does when he talks about floyd and all the baldomir-esque champions floyd has faced and beaten!!!
I list those guys because nothing in floyds res can top it. plus the fights they have in common it seems pac has performed a lot beter in the majority of cases. not bad for a guy who has no skill and only a left huh TE TUMBO?????Posted February 7, 2014 6:10 am
iented. there has never been anyone like him. you just cant heap the same praise on floyd. floyds deffense and plus minus ratio is awesome but shouldnt it be? when you thrive on the washed up mosleys, past it post retired oscars, baldomirs, guerreros, ortiz, gatti, and you run and pot shot. if your gonna run and pot shot against the guys floyd fought at the times he fought them your gonna have decent plus minus ratio of your a good boxer with great legs. probably like david haye at cruiserweight. the more i watch tape of pac and floyd the more pac seems like something special. dude is fireworks have been watching pac film lately and i cant believe people like TE TUMBO say pac only has a left and no other weapons. utter garbage. these combos are ridiculous and cotto first drops from a pac right hook. then cotto gets DROPPED NASTY by that left. did floyd ever drop cotto? NOPE. pac beat the stuffing out of him and just ktfo hatton. just beat the snot outta oscar while oscar had the best card of any floyd opponent. there is only one guy floyd faired better against who was small and floyd outweighed and refused to weigh in on fight night as was probably the heaviest of his career.
i did not realize how CHALK FULL OF HIGHLIGHT REEL pac’s career is my GAWD!!!! the sheer relentlessness up pacman is just historically unprecedented. the more i watch tape of pac and floyd the more pac seems like something special. if pac gets back in touch with his BEAST MODE old tim B RAD better look out son!Posted February 7, 2014 5:41 am

Ghetto – funny you should mention the Provo fight because Bradley lost that one, as well as the 1st Pac fight. Provo didn’t stop Bradley but did make him slur his words for a month after the fight. This is my point. Bradley is a tough bastard but has been beaten up a couple of times now and this 2nd fight with Pac is one beating too far IMO. I’m no Pac fan boy by a long shot but he has some real determination when needed, and in this fight he has a point to prove. The only hope I have is that Bradley doesn’t get permanently damaged after the outcome of this one. Of course if Bradley wins, then Pac is finished and Bradley is the only viable opponent for Mayweather Jnr.Posted February 7, 2014 2:47 am
475,000 PPVs is OK for a boxer of Rios’s caliber who never fought at 147 before… That’s over 25 million dollars… They did another 15 million with the live gate and rebroadcasting rights.. They made a nice profit after 9 million spent for site, training, and promotional expenses. Pacquiao came out the best — and Arum only got a couple of million after everybody else was paid.
He could have really gotten flattened if the fight did worse… He will probably do all right with Pacquiao-Bradley II… Maybe about 1.3 MM, That’s almost 3 times what Rios pulled.Posted February 7, 2014 2:34 am

Pacquiao just needs to play a very high volume and high connect game like he did with Rios, Clottey, and De La Hoya. He’s faster and a better boxer and puncher than Bradley. He has every edge. He can’t lose if he picks up the pace substantially from the last fight where he was lazy as sin.
He can be aggressive in selective spots when he nails Bradley with a real good shot — but otherwise NO — he needs to move and box with the legs and angles he used in the DLH fight.
He’s not going to get a KO and he shouldn’t try. You just slow down your punches when you throw that hard.. You give your opponent big openings when you swing for the fences. That is exactly what Bradley wants you to do. Bradley wants Pac to be overly aggressive like he was in Marquez IV. He knows he’s a lot younger and faster than Marquez.
That JMM fight had the dumbest game plan in fistic history.
Pacquiao hadn’t lost to Marquez in 3 previous fights—so why completely change the strategy and jump in with a wild right hook — when Marquez had been sitting back for half the fight looking for one big shot — like that fabulous, unbelievable opening???Posted February 7, 2014 1:05 am
