Irishny, who did proksa fight?! Sylvester?!? He’s fought safely from Germany. Look at what Golovkin did to Lujaun Simon! You think Sylvester would beat Simon?!

I watched the fight with Proska against Sylvester on Youtube and this kid has some skills and confidence he definitely has. Will be a good fight between 2 guys definitely coming to win

Ummmm, who exactly has Golovkin fought to make people think hes so great?
His standard of competition is roughly the same as Proskas!

Everyone on here saying Proksa will win, clearly you are misinformed. Also, to the ones that say what has Golovkin done in his pro career, I simply ask you.. What has Proksa done? I also ask one more thing of you… be sure to come and eat your crow after Golovkin KOs this guy, beating him so bad that nobody saw this mismatch coming!

Roughed up and beaten by Hope? An accidental head butt followed by an intentinial one that changed the course of the fight is not getting roughed up and he was NOT beat by Hope that was a typical British hometown gift.

he was roughed up and beaten by Kerry Hope

That was surely Proksa’s weak performance and bad luck, but the decision was controversial.

I’m not convinced that Proksa will get KO’d.
But I am strongly convinced that the author of this article underestimates Proksa’s boxing talent.

Luko are you aware who Golovkin is you absolute nut job?

Posted August 6, 2012 9:15 am

Agreed. Proksa can take this on the cards. Marcus Richardson you are in over your head.

Proksa by UD. Proksa is the busier fighter. If he can weather the storms (that is, if he has a good chin) his punch output is much better than Golovkin’s and Proksa will win.

Boxing Fan

Proksa is a lot more talented than this article writer feels. They are both on the same level. So this should be a very competative match. Looking at the videos of both fighters, I can confidently say there is no mismatch here. Proksa is one flashy confident SOB.

Super G < GGG

Proksa will school Golovkin. Watch and learn. Proksa is faster and light years more talented than the bread and butter Golovkin. Golovkin has power and imo is pretty slow. Proksa has power and is fast and he’s a lot quicker. Speed kills. Watch and see. Proksa will kill Golovkin with angles, speed and power and show him punches the Kazakh never seen before in his life.

Proska gets beatdown hard!

Amateur careers translated across pretty well into the pros for Muhammed Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, Lennox Lewis, Wlad Klitschko, Oscar De La Hoya… heck, Andre Ward, Yuri Gamboa, Floyd Mayweather… man, I’m running out of breath here and I haven’t even opened Wikipedia yet.

I like Golovkin as a fighter he reminds mea bit of Kostya Tzyu, accurate, patient and very heavy handed. Always find his range at some point and when he does BANG!!! , I think Proska has good basic skills but trys to be too flashy and that will be his undoing, his defense while engaging is average. His chin will be tested. KO inside 6.

 Lol and what has Golovkin done to prove he’s world class? Please….his entire reputation rests on amateurs and we all know how well that translates to the pros. Proksa has done about as much as Golovkin and is younger to boot. In his last match, Proksa schooled and dominated Hope and proved the first fight was a bad night.

proska is a good fighter slick dangerous unorthodox southpaw i think he will look good not sure who wins this

What will it take for Golovkin be considered a top level middleweight, no win situation, once he KOs Proksa, it will be said that Hope beat him also, the only fight that will make haters into believers is e winner of Martinez/Chavez, and then, maybe not even then.

I am still wondering who Golovkin has beat that makes his championship run so special? His first title fight and defenses have been against hopeless opposition.

They treat robberies and gifts in there favor as big wins.

ESB should not allow Britards to write articles.

Golovkin hasnt fought quality opposition either….fuchigami is just a japanese champ who has 7 losses now; and that was golovkins last fight….i still favor Golovkin but Proksa is a live dog here in my opinion.
