Fury needs to shut up about the Klitschkos. Hell why not fight wilder.

Posted January 25, 2014 4:08 pm

keep the hw circus rolling.

Posted January 25, 2014 11:25 am

Hope Fury gets sparked real soon and we can put an end to this side show / circus act whatever it is, the sooner the better.

Mike Dino

I stopped reading after “Heavyweight sensation Tyson Fury”. What has happened to this once great website?

Posted January 25, 2014 5:28 am

Jenning is fighting an undefeated Pole tomorrow… He should challenge some of the ranked fighters after that one.

Posted January 25, 2014 4:11 am

i think haye would have f’ed up fury. haye is a huge waste of talent. haye coming to heavyweight was awesome then he just did not have the warrior desire. man haye has huge potential and $ potential. i dont think any heavy has dissaponted me more in the last few years. haye should be active as heck knockin a bunch cats tfo! he is the best of the uk heavy scene beyond a shadow of a doubt

Posted January 25, 2014 4:11 am

it seems like there is a lot more options for fury. i would like a fury vs helenius match. where did helenius go? is he done or what? i mean there is a bunch of namers even arreola. or david rodriguez even. how come jennings and wilder cant land a namer? jennings scrap with tuApapoo was cool

Posted January 25, 2014 4:08 am

Haye was going be unreal money… Fury was going to be set for life… However he’s not going to make that fighting guys like Browne, Wilder, Pulev, or Takam… Thus, an opponent like Basile… Yeah Basile… So exciting.

Posted January 25, 2014 4:05 am

he would have made alot more money with a chisora rematch. Browne was called out and accepted. Why did fury avoid browne. Wilder will never fight fury. This is a crap fight. Nearly as bad as wlad vs leapia…….nearly

“fury has been fighting since 2006 and still has not stepped up.” – An undefeated Chisora who later fought for a title, former cruiser champ Cunningham who beat Adamek alone are among the best comp any heavyweight contender is facing. Fury stepped up years ago and in case you forgot had Haye lined up.

“What happened to all the boisterous challengers to Browne, Wilder, Perez, and everyone else. They answered his challenges affirmatively” – Wrong. Wilder STFU as soon as Fury called him out in December, Perez was busy with two HBO fights in 3 months and Browne is probably on deck next. While Basille is a tuneup after a long layoff for Fury, he’s still better than any opponent Wilder’s faced in his career.

Posted January 25, 2014 3:38 am

Fury should drag Wilder into a ring and fight him even if it’s for free. Wilder wants to fight Christy Martine, I guess that’s what’s expected for him since he likes to beat up and strangle women……..Fury/Wilder fight would be a good tuneup for Fury, easy knock out……….

Posted January 25, 2014 3:07 am

my little neighbors obese 12 year old daughter was available. guess she missed multiple calls…..

Posted January 25, 2014 3:06 am

Fury wayyy overrated.

Posted January 25, 2014 1:27 am

clearly just a tune up fight before some bigger ones down the road, probably the right thing to do having not fought for a long time by his standards, don’t expect this one to last long unless fury carries him as I saw the fight with Gimenez and it was dreadful

Posted January 25, 2014 12:17 am

Fury will whip Basile.

Posted January 24, 2014 11:34 pm

what wilder does is no excuse for fury and unless fury wants to be ridiculed like wilder he should not take steps back. fury should be ridiculed worse because he has moved up farther than wilder in comp and he talks a big game like haye but he is just talk and just lookin for a payday and a poor showing just like haye. if fury does that he will be the second crook since haye and destroy peoples perception o the uk heavy scene. but sadly it does seem fury is goin the way of davey haye

Posted January 24, 2014 8:42 pm

It’s a ridiculous fight. It doesn’t give Fury anything. It’s a marching in place fight until he can get a Klitschko fight.

What happened to all the boisterous challengers to Browne, Wilder, Perez, and everyone else. They answered his challenges affirmatively but Fury was just spouting off. He was interested in fighting Basile.

Lots of beer and pizza money. No effort.

im still watchin tyson and wishing him well but i think hughie might accomplish more or be something. too early to tell

Posted January 24, 2014 6:27 pm

tyson fury was signed to fight haye. he was prepared to step it up! tysons already beatin that relevant boxer chisora you speak of! tysons the best that little island called england has got at the moment! perez is hard but to little to compete with todays giants! towers got beatin by a slow ogre called browne, havnt seen enough of joshua to comment on but could be the real deal in a year or two!

Posted January 24, 2014 6:18 pm

To Team Fury fans: As the article says, Hughie Fury will be on the undercard at the copper box in London on Feb. 15th. Hughie will also be fighting again only 2 weeks later at the City Sports Academy Centre in Bristol. Looks like Tyson’s young cousin is planning to stay very busy in 2014. No opponents for Hughie in either bout have been announced yet.

Posted January 24, 2014 6:07 pm

hope to see an active fury in 2014.

Posted January 24, 2014 5:42 pm

now your talking some sense!! im not under estimating nobody, but people who have talked like that to my face normally get there @ss grounded and pounded!… thats for real!!!

Posted January 24, 2014 5:13 pm

u would be stompin or gettin shot or gettin your own a$$ stomped possibly as well ya never know who your dealin with and theres always someone who has your number. when you talk like a total dumba$$ expect to get called on it here

Posted January 24, 2014 4:46 pm

both bad gatekeepers.

Posted January 24, 2014 4:18 pm

phuk head? hahaha! those are some scary words!! yawn!…… i see theres alot of tuff talkers on here, key board warriors i call yous! in real life if someone said that to me i would be stomping there f!!ken head in!!

Posted January 24, 2014 3:45 pm

and now tyson has no doubt angered the wbc so who knows how hard it will be for him to maneuver to an easier title fight. tyson has been like haye big talk and fighting bum fights. haye faced old washed up dude but at least we heard of them in ruiz and barret and his best pre klitschko opponent the well known beast of the east. im about to right fury off completely, thats all i know. the whole uk heavy seen has been destroyed. perez may be damaged goods and fell off in his last bout after mago. price fell off. dallas and towers never were, chisora is just there for a food beating or gate keeping. that joshua dude was a huge dissapointment. maybe huey should woop that joshua’s a$$. huey is about all the island has thats interestin me anymore and i bet he will go the way of tyson and be poorly guided and ruined by mismanagement

Posted January 24, 2014 3:31 pm

redz- walk away with two belts? what garbageman belt one and two. whatever thise belts are aint nobody trying or clamoring for them dumn phuk head! lol @ u and your dumb phuk head worthless belt talk

Posted January 24, 2014 3:11 pm

dude fury has been fighting since 2006 and still has not stepped up. i have been following the heavyweight seen in the uk for a long time. a few years ago it was deep and i thought for sure someone would rise as professionally decent. dallas, towers, price, perez, chisora, fury. its sad to say that chisora fought way better guys and stepped up long ago and i dont even think has been fighting that long. out of that while group chisora became the most professionally relevant. tyson is a huge dissapointment already. i hope huey does better and does not go the direction of tyson. whoever is guideing tyson and making his matchmaking is garbage and should be beaten up.

Posted January 24, 2014 3:09 pm

fair enough man, fury dont give a stuff about you either! your thoughts dont mean nothing in the bigger scheme of things! fury will beat this guy and walk away with two belts!

Posted January 24, 2014 3:07 pm

i dint care how rusty fury is he doesnt fight anyone. he is fighting people that huey fury should be fighting in fact huey should be fighting better fighters than this. fury wants to take one huge step up get wooped and get paid. im not that sold on fury ever since that little black dude dropped him then he got up and started holding and hitting to get a stoppage win. was it cunningham? either way huey seems to have more potential than tyson. tyson doesnt excite anyone

Posted January 24, 2014 3:00 pm

calm down people! this is just a rust killing exercise. remember, fury hasnt fought in a while!..

Posted January 24, 2014 2:41 pm

heavyweight sensation, just another couple of big useless bums.

Posted January 24, 2014 2:28 pm

K-2 Fan

” heavyweight sensation ….” ? Tyson Fury ? Who writes this crap ? No wonder the guy didn’t have the nerve to sign his name !

Posted January 24, 2014 1:36 pm

I think Browne would flatten Fury and Tyson knows it. I was all set to start betting against Fury as I thought they were to step up his competition. He’s not world class so there’s easy money to be made the first time he gets in with a decent heavyweight. But that’s not now with this never heard of Basile character. This fight means nothing.

Posted January 24, 2014 1:31 pm

heavyweight sensation? give me a break..just who does fury think he’s kidding.. wat about lucas browne? this is just an insult to boxing fans everywhere…

Posted January 24, 2014 1:15 pm

Calm down: He will step up again after this ‘return’ fight. He has been inactive for a year.

Posted January 24, 2014 1:09 pm

If he carries on like this, he’s going to be accused of following the Wilder school of matchmaking.

Posted January 24, 2014 11:57 am

Skippy the bush Kangaroo

I challenged Lucas Browne. He ducked me. I thnk he’s taking on Jason Donovan next.

Posted January 24, 2014 11:17 am

Did’nt realise the guy was that bad!!..

Dreadful opponent.

Posted January 24, 2014 11:01 am

Hahaha Fury is fighting a 39 year old, #95 in the world Argentinian who has lost 7 of his 8 fights by KO. So, as usual he gives a guy short notice, isn’t ranked within earshot of anything half decent, is old and chinny. Meanwhile Lucas Browne called him out after Fury challenged him and all we hear and see from that exchange is crickets and spinifex from the Fury camp. The mouth rolls on, along with his own self hype. A feather fisted giant with a chin of china and the coordination of a baby giraffe. I wonder if he knows that he is seen as the Jerry Lewis of the Heavyweight division but without the talent. Everyone is laughing at him.

boxing barlow

I did notice Haye talking about a potential fight with Vlad in the future, but there was no mention of a Fury fight.

Posted January 24, 2014 10:42 am

Gotta feel sorry for Fury. From a mega money fight with Haye to this. People on here slag him off but I for one think other fighters are running scared of him. Haye would have beat him for sure but who else a part from the K brothers is really head and shoulders above fury? That might highlight the sad state of the division but thats not Fury’s fault.

Posted January 24, 2014 10:40 am

I thought Tyson Fury would step in against someone a little better than this guy who is ok fighting in South America, but loses against decent international-class boxers. As long as Fury doesn’t get careless or showboat, he should win without drama in 3 or 4 rounds.

Posted January 24, 2014 10:35 am

Who cares

Wow…. Fury is really stepping up in class for this fight. This clown wants to be taken seriously but fights guys like this. What a f’n joke.

Posted January 24, 2014 9:45 am

“heavyweight sensation”? LOL!!!

Posted January 24, 2014 9:31 am

Argentinean yes, puncher no.

Posted January 24, 2014 9:22 am

28 knockouts out of 61 wins and they’re pumping this fight up calling Basile Puncher like he’s got power. Pretty lame opponent after all Tyson’s mouthing off. At this stage his “warm up” fights should be against better opposition.

Posted January 24, 2014 9:20 am

Atleast it keeps him busy, that’s about it really.

Posted January 24, 2014 9:05 am

That’s a step backwards. He needs it anyway as the rematch with Chisora will likely be alot closer than the first fight.
