Bill Patrice , wilder could have a hard right but that don take you a complete fighter and fighting absolutely no one don’t show us what he really has …. One thing I saw on him in last fight that really Is a bad sign coming from a guy who has. 30 ko’s was his struggle against a further puncher fat slow firtha … Wilder needs needs to step up and fight someone like areola or furyPosted December 31, 2013 4:45 am

WHAT?! Fury is overrated and under-talented. IF, and that is a mighty big IF, Fury fights anyone with real HW power/talent he will be exposed as just that, a total hype job. Hell, he is a fan of Gobby Bum and we all know how much of a hype-job that guys whole career was. Thank God that carnival is OVER! Just a matter of time before the Fury Circus is finally joining the Gobby Bums of the world. LOL!Posted December 30, 2013 3:12 pm

Lucas Browne’s power is nowhere near Wilder’s level. I truly ho0pe Wilder fights Chisora because if he ices him early it should silence people who think his power is hyped because of the opposition he facesPosted December 30, 2013 2:16 pm
What planet is Rob Smi…Sorry I meant Michael Collins on??? Wilder chickened out of fighting Fury once, and the only name to accept Fury’s recent challenge is Lucas Browne. Wilder is a fake and a fraud, as his resume of 30 zombies shows!Posted December 30, 2013 1:37 pm

Well jones I think there is another guy who hits as hard as wilder and that is lucas browne. Fury calls out wilder………..silence. Fury calls out browne………an immediate yeap lets get it on!!! 2014 wilder needs to step it up of leave the sport. Enough pretending. Fans are screaming for this guy to fight a live contender. KOing bums just means he can KO bums.Posted December 30, 2013 10:59 am

I think a vast proportion of boxing fans are massively underestimating or outright denying, just how freakishly hard Wilder punches. This is not a standard big man with knockout power carrying him. Jameel Mccline, Hasim Rahman, Monte Barrett, and a hist of other former top heavyweights have openly gone on record saying that Wilder’s power is astonishing. Liakhovich might have been totally shot, but just one of Wilder’s right hands sent him into an epileptic fit. That’s BIG BIG power. The last time a true destroyer was on the rise was Samuel Peter in 04/05 now the positive difference for Peter is that he was being matched at a MUCH higher level and was stopping good veterans and solid fighters. The difference is though that Peter wasn’t finishing people with one shot. There hasn’t been someone with this kind of one punch power for a long time. If he improves his technique and balance then every opponent he faces lives with the knowledge that they have NO option but to go the whole fight without taking a clean shot. I desperately want to see Wilder matched with Chisora, because a one punch stoppage of him would finally prove to people just how hard Wilder is hitting. Don’t be fooled by Haye dominating him in sparring. There are hardly any heavyweights as fast and talented as Haye around to neutralize him. Wilder needs only be patient if he fights Fury. Tyson’s a much better all round fighter at this point, but he’s too tough for his own good. At some stage he’s going to allow Wilder oppurtunities to land his own shots and when that happens I don’t think Fury can take them. Wilder should fight the next following opponents: Chisora/Banks/Peter/ (current frigne contender with proven chin/ Proven fringe contender with durability and skill/ Former champion with masive punch power and big name value)Posted December 30, 2013 8:46 am
Wilder looks the part…wont really no how good he is until tested, maybe 2014?Posted December 30, 2013 3:54 am

Ken Norton had a “weak” chin… Ali knew Norton had been KO’d by a 188-pound guy and he didn’t twitch a muscle.
That’s OK.. Ali couldn’t hit that hard.. As long as Norton stayed away from big bombers he was fine.. but he couldn’t always do that.
With Fury it’s problematic as to how much power he has.. He can punch hard — but he’s not a seasoned defender.. It’s a case of Deontay boxing his ass off and not leaving his chin out there.. If it goes the distance Deontay should win on speed — but he could use a couple 10 round fights under his belt because it makes all the difference in the split-second decisions you make in there.Posted December 29, 2013 11:59 pm
agree, but in my opinion Fury does have good defense and better movement…it's just when he starts showboating and dropping his left that he is susceptible… I think he is beyond that at this stage.Posted December 29, 2013 4:37 pm
right, most in the division would have went down from an open, flush shot like that (while going backwards nonetheless) it was just a matter of leverage. What was not a matter of leverage though is deontay getting stunned by a weak Firtha jab or Haye getting dropped by Lolenga Mock (a cruiser with an even lower ko% than Cunningham) not all knockdown's are created equal…Fury wasn't even dazed. If you watch the fight, Fury was more worried about his shorts after getting up than he was the actual punch…he was clear and aware.Posted December 29, 2013 4:35 pm
right, and actually Fury wore cunningham down with punches (detractors want to ignore the punch stats and work rate) What had cunningham faded and prime for that ko was the body shots tyson hit him with about 30 seconds before the knockdown…look at cunningham bleeding from his nose, holding his side and wincing during the count. lolPosted December 29, 2013 4:32 pm

Wilder is a f.c.u.k.i.n.g mess, and he has no chin.

Why does he do nothing – ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for 5 years, then suddenly be all like “I`m ready” the moment a Klitschko retires???????Posted December 29, 2013 3:46 am
Tacheon , if wilder fights wlad I can assure you it will be a ” boring ” fight to you because wlad will ko wilder in 1st round ! Wlad dosent let tall boxers inside ..Posted December 29, 2013 1:53 am
I think Wlad could KO Wilder with one hand like he did to Austin. Wlad can KO Wilder with his jab. Wilder is just what Wlad likes. An undefeated virgin with 30 fights. Wlad should cherry pick this guy before he gets more experienced fights under his belt. But even then, Wilder may have a china chin. I think he does, because he seems to be a sap for a left jab and left hook. And he does not like to be hit. Sergei landed a few on him and knocked Wilder off balance with a jab. Wilder is a contender pretender who has not fought anybody.Posted December 29, 2013 12:54 am
Wilder is a fraud. Why is he ranked #3 WBC when he has never fought a ranked fighter, not even nearly ranked. Fury has fought much better competition than Wilder. Fury will knock Wilder out, but I don’t think Wilder will fight him. Wilder refused to fight Chisora and he also refused to fight Thompson. Some Americans are claiming that Wilder is the greatest heavyweight of all time, well, when will he prove that? NEVER………..Wilder, the one who fights winos from the alley and the one who beats up women and strangles them………….
Fury is much better than Wilder’s women opponents and Wilder’s winos from the alley. Anyone could knock out Wilder’s bums………..Posted December 29, 2013 12:31 am
Wilder is getting better technically…
He’s been boxing pro over 5 years. But he had 50 times as many sparring rounds as he had fighting rounds. The only way you can get those rounds is to step up the comp. You need to know what a 10th and 11th round feels like. It’s harder to maintain your concentration for that long while still trying tricks your opponent hasn’t seen yet. Guys like Golovkin and Rigondeaux could go for 20 rounds and you still haven’t seen all the stuff they can throw at you.Posted December 28, 2013 8:49 pm
Fury is no joke… Certainly not to Steve Cunningham or Kevin Johnson.Posted December 28, 2013 8:26 pm
Wilder is not very good technically and I agree his balance is little shaky he still Kos Fury first round. wilder has punchers chance against Wlad who will punch hug because he is afraid of Wilders power. End result Wlad would run over Fury smashing him inside of 6 puting on great performance. against wilder boring fight Wlad would be cautious do to Wilder power he would still get. Wilder out of there but would be boring fight.Posted December 28, 2013 8:22 pm

Wilder should fight a Top-10 Heavyweight??? … Fury IS a Top-10 guy.
So is Wilder. The fight is a tough one for Fury because he will have to absorb some hard punches. But Tyson has 25 pounds and 2 inches on Deontay.. I think his bullying instincts are surfacing here.. He knew he would have to take hard shots from Cunningham, but also knew he was too big and strong for him.
Fury is praying “Skinny” proves just as droopy as USS… But that’s not likely.Posted December 28, 2013 4:59 pm

Both these guys are HW. Wilder is differently the bigger puncher. However, both have limited defense. If either one gets hit, it could be the end of the match. @Adrian state what you want but it doesn’t change the fact that Wlad lost 3 times, once by KO with the referee helping him to get to his corner and the other two by TKO. If the punch Rahman landed on Lewis landed on Wlad, it would have been good night for grabimir. Besides, Wlad has tasted the canvas couple of times against Peter and other even lesser boxers that I can’t recall their names. So please don’t compare Lewis’s chin to Wlad as might ridicule Vitali’s punching power given that he cracked Lewis a couple of times and couldn’t even come close to knocking him down.Posted December 28, 2013 9:49 am

As regards experience maybe Fury has the edge because he’s been in the ring with considerably better opposition but that could all be annulled by his vulnerability to being easily hit and if Cunningham can put him on his ass Wilder will knock him out cold. It’s also worth noting Wilder has speed advantage similar to Steve’s though taller, irrespective of how crappy, he even has better footwork than fury.Posted December 28, 2013 3:46 am
Wlad dosent have a ” suspect ” chin…all his losses were not by a single punch they were either by exhoustion or accumulation of punches ( sanders fight) , he took haye’ s punch flush in his jaw and wasn’t even wobbled he also was hit hard by wach flush and took it well , to beat klitchko you need to be better then him ( now almost impossible) or if klitchko spends himself out like in a Brewster and purity fight wich he never does that kind of mistake again….Posted December 28, 2013 3:43 am

How does anyone know that Wilder’s right hand is powerful? From watching Wilder fight Sconiers? Wilder ducked Chisora and Tony Thompson, at least Fury beat Chisora. If Fury were to fight the bums Wilder has fought he would have a 100% knockout ratio also! Cunningham and Chisora are far above Sconiers and the rest of Wilder’s bums………..Wilder looked like a drunk while sparring Haye, who was a cruiserweight at one time and let’s not forget that Fury was preparing to fight Haye. Wilder would have no chance against Haye. Vladimir Klitschko beat Wilder from one side of the ring to the other, Vlad even knocked Wilder down with a jab while sparring for the Wach fight. I hope this fight happens, Fury will knock Wilder out!!! Wilder weights anywhere from 223 – 225 lbs., Fury is over 250 and is taller. Funny, Wilder was 6 feet 6 inches tall, but now he is 6 feet 7 inches tall?! How much more will Wilder grow?Posted December 28, 2013 1:51 am
Fury has the better names on his record but Wilder still Ko’s him within 6. Not a fan of Wilder’s easy record but he is too much for the feather fisted, china chinned, uncoordinated, self-uppercutting Englishman……..I mean Irishman…….I mean Gypsy………I mean retiree………I mean ex-retired fighter. However I also see Wilder going down for the count once he faces someone who will fight back after being hit, but it won’t be Fury.Posted December 28, 2013 1:42 am
Wilder will fight away, even without a passport, sparring with Haye, but couldn’t get in against Chisora, Andre Ward will not fight away, even with a passport, wants everything on his side, super six, fight at home, everything comfortable, wont fight away.Posted December 28, 2013 1:04 am
I really hope this fight happens. Fury has trained very hard for months now and maybe he’s even developed a real punch. If so, Wilder is in trouble. The winner of this fight will be t h e legitimate contender. Let’s get this one on. We really do not need the Pulev’s and Povetkin’s fouling up the division. Too bad, by the way, that Mike Perez is so short!Posted December 28, 2013 1:03 am
Fury not very intelligent. Wilder and haye both destroy him.Posted December 28, 2013 12:45 am
Problem for Wilder is that he still cannot box. He just can`t, he is useless. He is a basic slugger who telegraphs his right hand and trips over his own feet because his balance is so poor, and his footwork bordering on inept.
When he fails to KO Fury in 2 rounds, he`ll end up getting overrun and beaten down for the next 10. I`m talking a Rodney King-whipping.Posted December 28, 2013 12:23 am
Squared-Circle Real Talk (The Lion King of Beat Street)
Wilder hasn’t yet proved that he deserves a fight with a top 10 contender. He hasn’t even fought an opponent ranked in the top 25. It’s easy to look like a killer when you’re knocking out tin cans and club fighters. But I’d bet a large sum of money that Wilder has a glass jaw just like Mitchell. And until we see him get chin-checked by a legit Super HW contender, I’m gonna continue to believe his chin is made out of China.
Haye didn’t have the courage to fight Fury. Let’s see if Wilder has the sack to step up to the plate.Posted December 28, 2013 12:21 am
Neither Wilder or Fury have proven that they’re legitimate contenders yet so I feel they should fight each other. That said, I think Wilder wins if they do fight…if Cunningham can put Fury down, Wilder can put him out.Posted December 28, 2013 12:00 am

This writer is making up stuff. Fury was signed to fight Haye which was postponed and then cancelled. That’s why he ‘retired’. Nothing to do with Wilder.Posted December 27, 2013 11:12 pm
Rapid fire I see a lot different completion with Fury, Kevin Kingpin Johnson, Chisora, Cunningham, these guys fought for titles except Cunningham was a world champ. He might be little compared to some heavyweights but let him hit one of you square on the chinny chin-chin! Look for Fury to pull off a win late stoppage or unanimously. He’s sloppy but a much better big man than you think!Posted December 27, 2013 11:12 pm
If fury doesn’t make a mistake than he’ll probly get wilder out within 3 rds, no skill on wilders end only size, strength, pretty good speed, NO defensePosted December 27, 2013 11:10 pm

Scott Gillfraud strikes again. The headline is for Fury but somehow the content aims to troll on Pulev for some reason. Just to remind you that Pulev won convincingly on all cards a clrear UD in the TT fight. Hadn't the fight been for the mandatory IBF slot Pulev would have knocked TT out. To troll on the best heavy not named Klitchko just to hype up Deontay is bs. Wilder hasn't fought anyone in the top 50 and still you think he stands a chance against Fury? Fury, as bad as he is will walk throug Wilder in 2 rounds. The reason is the obvious one – Wilder's ching is the worst that one could have.
To give you a comparison: Fury was KD by USS Chuningham, however USS is a former CW champion and he is on a world level and yet Fury got up and knocked him out. Alternatively, Wilder was KTFO from an unknown russian CW in the freaking amatures while wearing headger on.
This article belongs to Trollingnews24. Scott you have messed it up again.Posted December 27, 2013 10:58 pm

…nice of you though to credit Fury for wanting to fight Haye and assuming he would beat Pulev (which he would have). Here is a quote from your "golden boy": Deontay Wilder (on Tyson Fury): “It only leaves Tyson Fury now…he’s been handling business, he keeps winning, and so now the best English heavyweight is Tyson Fury.”Posted December 27, 2013 10:02 pm
here we go with that old Cunningham logic again…Cunningham has faster hands than Wilder and is a two time world champion and has faced better opposition than Wilder probably ever will (he did to Huck what no one else has been able to do) So ANYONE would have hit the canvas from a full on, open shot to the face like that from Cunningham (while going backwards no less) a simple matter of physics…thing is, Fury was not even phased…when he got up from the canvas he was more worried about his shorts than he was the punch. He was clear and aware. Now Wilder on the other hand was recently stunned by a weak jab from an out of shape Firtha…that is something team Wilder should be concerned about.Posted December 27, 2013 9:57 pm
you're getting it wrong, Fury was already talking the retirement jive BEFORE Deontay "challenged" him…but after that haye elevator ride everybody knew that team Fury was not ready for a fight with anyone until the dust settled and he could return to a full training run yet again…so the Wilder challenge (as fill in for haye) was bogus. Oh, and Wilder ran from Chisora with a lame domestic excuse but we saw him in England helping haye train for Fury shortly thereafter…then when team Chisora sent Wilder an open challenge team wilder said Chisora must wait! lol!!! …something seems a bit offPosted December 27, 2013 9:55 pm
TYSON FURY IS A CLOWN. ALL TALK I BELIEVE HE’LL COME UP WITH AN EXCUSE TO AVOID WILDER. ONE THING FOR SURE HES A GOOD S**T TALKER. LIL STEVE CUNNINGHAM DROP HIM LIKE A TON OF BRICKS. WILDER HASN’T PROVE HIMSELF NEITHER SO IT WOULD BE A GOOD MATCH UP.Posted December 27, 2013 9:34 pm

This puncdit says.., “Thompson faded to the point where he was just holding onto Pulev in the 2nd half of the fight and yet still almost beat him.”
That’s fantasy stuff.. TT knew he couldn’t win and was stalling. He didn’t want to get KO’d and never tried. Much like his Wlad II fight.Posted December 27, 2013 7:36 pm
Wilder has lots of c rated fighters on his resume, because the Klitschkos have been too tall of a mountain for him to climb at the stage he is/was. I believe thats the ONLY real reason why he was brought along so slowly. Props to Fury for stepping up if the fight does happen, but he would have been better off getting out pointed by pulev for less money, cuz wilth Wilders power and Furys lack of speed Furys toast. man I hope this fight happens!!!!!!!!Posted December 27, 2013 7:22 pm
Fury has really suprised me at times with out of no where combinations and beating kevin Johnson suprised me even thou Kevin’s very non offensive.
Wilder does have the power to ko fury, without question wilder punches harder than fury, fury also has show his chin isnt the greatest.
Fury gets up and can box.
Wilder isnt the best boxer and his balance is crude and we dont know if wilder has a great chin himsself.
Everthing has to be taking into consideration, im leaning towards a wilder ko, but I wouldn’t bet a significant amount of money on the fight, theres to many question Mark’s at this point.Posted December 27, 2013 7:19 pm
@Puncher Fury’s resume isn’t very impressive either..Chisora and Cunningham… Really dude. They’re both C+ fighters at best.Posted December 27, 2013 7:16 pm
Wilder might beat Fury, but I find the DW huggers funny.
Who the hell has DW beat besides washed up Liak & Harrison?
If Fury gets by the initial windmilling, he could stop DW.Posted December 27, 2013 7:15 pm
Lol one of the biggest mouths in boxing going up against one of the biggest punchers! Night night fury, sleep tight. LolPosted December 27, 2013 7:11 pm
DONT FORGET WILDER HAS NOTHING BUT BUMS ON HIS RESUME!! AND WORE OUT EX-CHAMPSPosted December 27, 2013 7:04 pm
Wilder will beat Fury……Posted December 27, 2013 7:03 pm
Lol Fury almost got sank by the USS Cunningham. Now little tug boat Fury wants to take on an Aircraft carrier. fury has courage, heart, and is pretty damn funny at the press conferences but that want help Wilder will sink Fury early little tug smashed first round.Posted December 27, 2013 7:02 pm
Fury won’t be able to go the distance IMO..plus a win against blown up LHW Steve Cunningham isn’t necessarily a credible win. On that note they are both at the same stage in their careers(unproven). Make it happen Wilder by 6 round KOPosted December 27, 2013 7:01 pm
No no no…… the author misspoke. SS Cunningham can throw SOME BOMBS!! You cant say “little” when it comes to SC @210+ pounds throwing an over hand right. SS KNOWS how to throw a good shot, and as clean as that punch was, it would have dropped quite a few top 20 HWs.Posted December 27, 2013 7:00 pm
th shadow al haymon will never match his guy against a live man.Posted December 27, 2013 6:58 pm
Anyone who thought Fury really meant he was retiring from boxing takes things too literally…come on. Tyson is well known for being a bit excitable! I’d love to see Fury v Wilder next year. Winner gets a title shot. People who give Fury no chance against Deontay Wilder make me laugh though! Wilder’s best wins are against Harrison and Liakhovich. It’s very much a 50-50 fight going in…Posted December 27, 2013 6:44 pm
Lol end of Fury Wilder will KO Fury in the first round and it want mean a thing. Wilder needs better competition if he wants to take his career to the next level KOimg a journey man means nothing.Posted December 27, 2013 6:36 pm
Deontay Wilder v Tyson Fury, now that would be a good match up for 2014! It wouldn’t go any further than halfway whoever won, and whoever delivers some big clean shots first wins.Posted December 27, 2013 6:35 pm
No way Fury wins against Wilder in my opinion, however, IF he did people would be forced to take Fury seriously. I don’t think Fury would beat Stiverne or Arreola either.Posted December 27, 2013 5:52 pm
if wilder can ko him why not take the fight and ko him?Posted December 27, 2013 5:47 pm
fury will ko wilder. wilder cant even knock out the girl he got arrested for hitting.Posted December 27, 2013 5:46 pm
Fury needs to stop. First he retires and says he will never boxing again. Now he is saying he wants the monster knockout artist of the heavyweight division. No way jose. He’s using deontay’s name to stay relevant. Plus if they fight he gets knockout out in 2 or 3 rounds. Definitely does not go the distance! He justhas not chance and no skills to beat deontay.Posted December 27, 2013 5:40 pm
