Great fight, Szpilka will KO Jennings in the later rounds, can’t wait to see it.

I was impressed with Jennings boxing skills. We can find out how skilled as he ventures in to the top tier.I don,t believe this fight is of top tier, but we shall find out.

“I like Jennings vs Stiverne next — or Jennings vs Wilder.” – Presuming Jennings wins I’d like either of those matches. There’s a fair number of guys predicting a Szpilka win though. Either way this is going to be an entertaining rumble. The winner should be considered on the fast track and inserted as the WBC’s No 2 to fight for the vacant title. Not Arreola or Wilder.

This is not Perez-Abdusalamov… You could have thrown Chris Arreola in there with Perez or Abdusalamov and gotten the same uncoordinated milling… Jenning is a student of the game, very well trained, and very disciplined.

I like Jennings vs Stiverne next — or Jennings vs Wilder.

While this is happening Wilder should be fighting Glazkov.

Turbo hamster got it on the money. If mike mollo gives you a run, how great are you? The pin is getting smacked.

If that Pollock lands flush on Jennings its good night! He don’t have a chin!

Szpilka should win that, he’s more experienced than BJ, can punch harder.

Moonshine, Jennings cannot be class C when he’s already beaten several B class opponents. However since Wilder hasn’t yet beaten a single B level opponent he’s C level at this time.

If Mollo troubles you, then that is a big warning sign. I`ll take Jennings here.

good fight. I’d favor Szpilka based on him having more experience vs better fighters and showing he can overcome when plan A fails. Jennings does have good technique though and a heck of a reach.

I belive Jennings is not as good as some think. But Szpilka is far from a polished fighter, leaky defence and can hit the canvas. But because of these flaws it makes for a great fight, and the winner moves up to bigger things. This is a great crossroad fight for both guys, but I dont belive Jennings or Szpilka will be a major force in the div. down the road. But much credit for both of them meeting at this time, and it should be a great fight..hard one to call overall.Prehaps I would give Jennings a slight edge…but no way a sure thing.

Bryant Jennings is Class “C”, at best.

“It’s very interesting that many of the heavyweight young guns in fact do fight each other except for Wilder” – Agreed. I never understood why Wilder got hype while Jennings has not. It’s GBP hype and the glossy KO ratio. Anyone can KTFO drunken bums and pool boys.

Bryant Jennings (17-0, 9 KOs) vs Artur Szpilka (16-0, 12 KOs) is a nice HBO bout. Seems they’re back in the heavyweight biz now that there are some valid US fighters to televise. As I’ve been saying for years Jennings is the top US heavyweight contender, not Wilder or Mitchell or Arreola. If he beats Szpilka he should be fighting Stieverne for the vacant WBC strap. But the WBCriminals will probably throw Wilder in there even though he’s done nothing to earn it.

jennings is going down

Jennings easy!

Posted December 16, 2013 3:21 pm

big head

i got jennings wining this one szpilka is no joke he can punch so he got a puncher chance but overall jennings is the better boxer and he can punch as well so i see jennings winning by knocked out but it wont surprised me if he gets hurt or knock down in this fight tho

An ideal matchup, boxer vs slugger and both undefeated.

the voice of reason

Whoooaaaah! what a fight! this is what its all about! This is gonna be every bit as exciting as perez/abdusalamov no doubt about it. I really rate both fighters and respect to them both for putting it on the line here. This is a VERY interesting fight. Szpilka just came off two knockouts of the very tough mike mollo, and jennings looked pretty awesome braeking up bowie tupou recently. Cant call a winner here, and i wont be rooting for either guy cos i like them both. May the best man win. Cant wait!

def gonna watch this. like both dudes. gotta favor jennings by early to mid stoppage

Posted December 16, 2013 12:36 pm

Yeah I think this will be a pretty good fight. I will favor Jennings though. If Szpilka had trouble with Mollo then he is gonna have some major issues with Jennings.
