Pov looked sharp and quick.
Rahman looked slow but power.
Rahman needs to last 7 rounds, where Pov
starts to run out of gas, but Rahman has not
been known to have stamina either. So, toss

Tszyu doesn’t seem to have tons of experience as a pad man and it wasn’t a crackling workout.. Don’t stop and demonstrate the combinations for him like he’s a sub novice. Call out the combos you want by the numbers, keep the session flowing, and forget the crowd’s there.. Use words like “smoother, sharper, harder, more accurate, relax and throw.” This looked like a mid level trainer who had never worked with a fighter of this caliber before. Povetkin looks soft, slow, pudgy, and lacking in fire, energy, and enthusiasm for a fighter of his accomplishments. Tszyu has to light a fire under him like Atlas did in his Chagaev fight. It looks like AP wants to take a break so he can go out on the patio for a snooze.

Rahman looks slow – Povetkin looks good. Povetkin needs to fight better competition.

Pulev vs Ustinov looks far more interesting

Not a good fight. Rahman only showed up for a paycheck against Wlad and looked horrible in that fight. Did nothing special after that. Povetkin is no Klitschko, but if he learnt his lesson against Huck (do not come in underprepared), he should win confortably. Probably Rahmans strategy will be avoid the fight and look for that 1 single KO punch. Probably his only chance. Don’t think this will be a good fight

Alexander Povetkin vs. Hasim Rahman, a fight that is very mixede in oppinions on sereral levels in and out side the ring but the fight is on and I look forward for this fight in what I wish this fight will turn out to become a slug-fest war between Rahman and Povetkin and they are both heavyweight power punchers so the chanse could be there but that depends a lot on Rahman and his mode and spirit. Rahman have defeated strong opponents in the past and I hope in this fight that Rahman will show his “A-Game” and not allowing to give Povetkin room for attacking.

I like what I hear about the training session reports with Hasim Rahman. Rahman needs to be in best condition possible if he wan’ts to stand a serius chanse against Alexanbder Povetkin becuse he is ready for a fight.
