Hatton hits York? … That’s more than he did to Mayweather.

I am sure Ricky as always was being very Patriotic
He would not back Khan if he thought he would be embarrassed
But let’s face it, there is nobody left to give Mayweather a fight in his last 3 fight deals
Khan has a good a chance as anyone unless you are starting to go up the weights
And Floyd much like Sugar Ray don’t play that game
They go hungry
They get weak
They get give up things for me to get things

GOAT never
But the second best fighter of my Generation after Prime Roy Jones
He took on the tasks
Made it look easy

Hatton was great but lately he’s been banging the drum for Khan to fight Mayweather, which is just silly. Was Ricky on his 18th pint of beer when he said that or is he in line to get 10% or Amir’s potential pay day if the fight happens? Whatever the case, Ricky should know that Khan doesn’t deserve to share a ring with Floyd, Khan just wants a retirement pay day fight, simple as that. Everyone knows it.

boxing barlow

People slated Hatton for his tactics in the Pacman fight, but the reality is that Pacman has never lost on points. He’s only ever been knocked out and the best tactic Hatton could have had was to try and get a KO. It worked for Marquez. Everyone else who tried to box Manny just got a beat down.

I like Slater becasue he’s a fan like us and he’s very respectful of all guys who step into the ring. Whenever he interviews an old timer he always will refer to him as ‘Chamo’. I like that. Contrast Gillfoid – he’s very disrespectful.

Hatton is a braggart, a liar, and an excuse maker. Cortez let them fight inside and even the announcers were suprised at that. Floyd beat Hatton inside and outside. Nothing Hatton did worked except hitting Floyd in the back of the head while he was outside the ropes.

Ricky Hatton and Henry Wharton both loved dishing out a sickening thunderbolt of a left hook downstairs
Very often landing with a thump
that left the opponent scrunched in a ball
rolling around the ring gasping with their tongue hanging out

Hatton had his problems..and made bad decisions, but really a top bloke overall…and this is coming from a

Someone has previously mentioned that Slater is a teenager – I do respect that but it does show

Slater excessively uses hype and nick names to assist with his hype

there all legends today, its called HYPE.

Mr. Slater, as usual uses the word Legend so flippantly with Hatton its embarrassing.Ricky was a good fighter, certainly not brilliant and most definitely not a legend, Mr. Slater the way he writes has got to be under 40 and clearly doesn’t remember the great fights or fighters from the 70s, the guy is a novice when it comes to boxing.Has an awful lot to learn.
