Little Floyd cries for his father, and Broner’s dad runs into the ring and brushes little floyd’s head.

Idiot Ernie. Go kill yourself. Do us all a favor.

12 boring rounds….Fraud will run to a decision with Canelo chasing him all nite. Sad for fans to fork out that kind of money to see a track meet, pop and tag match for 12 rounds. BOYCOTT PPV!

What your probably going to see is Floyd working the jab after 3 rounds. but before he does that watch, he start off with lazy jabs ment for you to duck it, why it’s to make you believe you can box with him, he smart, he don’t want you to put the pressure on all night, but most find put too late that this is the way to beat him, it’s basely your only chance. So if red head is smart he will stay with his plan and don’t try to duck his slow jab
Just block it and keep moving forward, in order to reach Floyd you need to eat some jab coming and catch Floyd on the 3 exchange, you decide to box him he speed up his jab and confuse you all night with the right. Hand and hold you, exchange and after he throw the right hand and get crossed, step back before he hold and hook him, exchang from the beginning, or he will keep you at the end of his jab all night. Do red head have the balls to take a jab and punch to give his own exchange. That depend if he grown to be mature fighter a experienced fighter and fight his fight not floyd. Should be a good fight.

Love that freckled 12 incher papi. You can call me Canelo’s cinnamon bunny and Im looking for my carrot.

Alvarez needs 2 hurt Floyd early 2 b any chance, other wise a lesson in boxing 4 the last 6 rounds is on the cards…possibly even a TKO 4 Mayeather.

Tark, you are an OLD man whose senses have LONG faded… Yes Mayweather is gonna take Canelo apart in relatively easy fashion.. You have spanked your ancient pole watching too much film of him beating Lopez, Mosley on a losing streak, and Gomez… He was NOT dominant over Trout I don’t care what the scores say and could not put him away when hurt… I like Canelo and I think he is a very talented young boxer, But Floyd Mayweather is a LIVING LEGEND who still has enough going to really do a number on Canelo… SPEED KILLS, EVERY fighter that was so called gonna keep up with him LOST and Canelos handspeed would be NOTHING special at WW vs a guy who’s hands have been amongst the fastest… Tell your nurse to DVR the bout for you so that when you need the inevitable nap, you can rewind and witness the impending carnage, and outclassing thats gonna take place… Canelo is gonna swell and bleed…

If mayweather really wants to go for a stoppage if things are going well I think he will try harder for the TKO. If canelo proves be to tough to get a TKO then he will just outbox him. What are the odds in vegas for Mayweather by KO, that could make some extra bucks. The sleeper pay out may be a draw, sometimes odds for a draw could be 30 to 1. Thanks why they call it gambling.

Mayweather doesn’t need to KO Canelo to get a stoppage, he just has to land enough and hard enough for the cornor to call off the fight or the ref to stop the punishment. Did u see tito trinidad come running in the ring scared when hopkins dropped him. Cornors protect fighters and Canelo is young and if takes a lot of punishment look for the cornor to call the fight.

Another MAyweather SNOOZE fest! Mayweather by decision as fat boy will tire out and he is OUTCLASSED!

IF Floyd WINS this by stoppage that would SHOCK ME and that’s very difficult to DO. Floyd isn’t going for the knockout here unless Canelo somehow pisses him OFF. This is a 12 rd decision by Mayweather.

Posted September 12, 2013 5:12 pm

Sredmond is living in Zu Zu Land… “Floyd is going to shred Chanelo… Chop him up… Paint him… Smoke him… Knock him out.”

Who has Floyd done all that to? Canelo is the worst boxer he’s ever faced?

Canelo isn’t going to sit there like Mosley and Guerrero, and let Floyd shoot right hands at his leisure at wide open faces… and when he throws it will have the impact of a super welterweight puncher, not a lightweight non-puncher.

Squared-Circle Real Talk (a.k.a. The Lion King of Beat Street)

All you guys picking FMJ to win by stoppage are delusional. There’s NO WAY in H3LL that he wins this fight by KO/TKO. If he wins, it be by decision — and probably by very close, controversial decision.

Posted September 12, 2013 4:41 pm

Mayweather is gonna stop this kid I have a feeling….This bout is an anti-climax we are gonna see the BEST FMJ we have seen in years.. He is sharp, having fought earlier in the year taking a short rest then resuming training… Floyd NEVER overlooks opponents like lessor fighters… Nutcases like Hidalgo claim the GREAT Marquez barely trained for Floyd (UNREAL)…. In any event, FMJ is not gonna wanna let a BIG kid like Canelo bang him up so he’s gonna exploit the speed advantage early, chop him up and put him in a position to be pulled out by round 9…. Canelo is YOUNG, STRONG and POWERFUL but his transitions from offense to defense are too slow… He did well against Trout but I would not be a BIT surprised to see Trout win a rematch (Canelo was not dominant on the World level absent a KD where he could not finish Trout nor really punish him the rest of the round)…. Floyds gonna put on a show that sickens his detractors, complete with smirks, arrogance, showboating and head snapping right hands….Get read “Cabron’s” Sept 14th is coming

I’m hoping for. The Canelo vs Floyd media machine has done a great job of putting out the word on this Media Made Mega Fight. The truth is that most big fights don’t ever live up to the hype. This one will be no different. Canelo and Floyd are both counter punchers. Both guys don’t really like to take chances. Both know that this is the biggest fight of their lives, and the loser will forever have to live with a loss. The reality is that Floyd Mayweather is head and toes above this young 23 year old. Floyd has fought the best of his time albeit old and small, but he has gained valuable experience. He’s an Olympian, and he comes from a family that has a lot of boxing knowledge. Canelo can’t stylistically beat an experienced, quality boxer that fights the same style. Canelo’s only advantage is power. He’s not a smooth agile fighter. Floyd will be able to see Canelos punches coming from miles away. That favorite left hook he counts on is too wide. Canelo doesn’t throw many punches per round. He tries backing up at times, but he’s not a natural moving boxer that can change directions effortlessly. He needs to be planted firmly to throw his strong punches. This fight is being sold on the new young lions vs the old lion. USA vs Mexico. The innocent red headed, freckled faced, light skin Mexican kid with the Hollywood looks, vs the filthy rich, conceded, no one is better than me villain. In the end, both guys will keep their distance, and Floyd’s speed should be able to handle Canelo fairly easy. Canelo’s only real chance is for Floyd to get caught in an exchange, as well as age catching up to him. If the catch weight catches up with Canelo, you’ll see a stoppage between rounds 10-12 otherwise, it will be a UD for Floyd Mayweather. Remember, always bet with your head not your heart. Floyd has clear advantages all the way around. I really hope I’m wrong, and would love to see Canelo KO Floyd, but it’s going to take a lot for Canelo to win. It may take a miracle, and that’s what

What zimmerman does , says or thinks has nothing to do with boxing or relations between any of the races. Quit wasting time on moot discussions

More predictions? Boy, this better be a great fight. With all the hype it’s gotten, I expect to see real fireworks right over the ring for a full twelve rounds.

Posted September 12, 2013 11:57 am

Im not saying by knock out and I don’t think anybody else is either. We are saying that because of Canelos stamina issues. With those issues Floyd can dish out enough punishment for the corner to stop the fight late. No need to damage Canelo at this early of an age.

I find it laughable that anyone is picking Floyd by k/O… He hasn’t showed k/O power for years, let alone at 54. He couldn’t hurt guerrero, a natural feather/ light weight, who had no defense! Canello has a good chin, and nearly as good of defense as Floyd, he aint getting k/o’d!

Posted September 12, 2013 10:44 am

Taking Floyd by late round stoppage, about the 10th round. I am taking Matthysse by mid round stoppage about the 8th round. But that fight, both fighters will take there lumps and bruises.

I know I’m gonna get some stick for this but I think the fighter who has the skills, and that if he was trained right, with the right game plan, who could upset the Mayweather gravy train, is Amir Khan! He obviously runs the risk of getting knoocked out but if he could aviod that I think he could outbox Floyd.

Yeah I’m picking Mayweather. I actually think he’s got better over time. I watche his fight against Cotto again the other day. What struck me that didnt at the time was his output. He was constandly pot shotting Cotto. A lot of people talk abot the way to beat Floyd and talk about a phsical fighter, but we’ve had that. Hatton was the ultimate bully in the ring and I actually though Hatton was gonna win that fight. But the way Floyd handled him was amazing. For me the only way Floyd looses is if he fights a fighter with a massive output. A Joe Calzaghe at welterweight. The nearest kind of fighter to this is Pacman but I cant see that fight happeneing now. Just out of interest who do people think gave Floyd his hardest times? and do people see similar strengths in those fighter that gave Floyd a hrad to to what Canelo has?

Here is a prediction. At least 10 more articles to be published before fight night 14Sep2013 that have Mayweather or Alvarez in the heading.

Posted September 12, 2013 2:32 am

Until a few hours ago, I forgot about another bout which had two undefeated champions meeting (for the “Fight of the Century”), and few then had thought that Joe Frazier would be capable of defeating Muhammad Ali, so perhaps Canelo does have more of a chance than I’ve so far believed possible.
