Looks like another Andre Dirrell and Victor Ortiz. It seems ,he doesn’t like to fight.

I like GRJ, but he would get slept if the fought Gonzalez right now. He does not move his head when he punches. If he does not work on that, Gonzalez will find him.

Fight Aficionado

There was a time when Russell and Broner were considered equal prospects. It’s been a long three years, with Broner winning two trinkets and Russell lagging badly. I didn’t realize this was due to injuries. Hopefully his body will hold up and he can get back to work.

Yeah I read Mares is gonna take the immediate rematch. I believe he made that choice when they said that Russle could get the assignment. I think Mares doesn’t really like Russle for his comments. I do commend him for that immediate rematch and if it comes off I am still going to pick Mares to win by late round TKO

Just caught word, brother…Mares is going to use his immediate rematch clause to face Gonzalez once again in November.

Possibly on the undercard of the Broner/Maidana PPV

Gary will have to wait a little longer.

Yes this guy is talented but talent alone doesnt win you the big fights. He needs to stop calling people out and then making excuses as to why he cant fight them. He reminds me of a Chihuahua, constantly barking but the minute someone steps to him he backs of (Ponce).I suspect he has a glass chin, hence why he doesnt want to take the big fights

If Gary can keep his hands from breaking, he’ll be fine.

It’s those darn hands, brother…they’ve plagued him throughout his entire career.

It’s Me, Ernie

I hope his best days in the sport are ahead, that kid is loaded with talent…
