I would prefer Froch to fight Bika or Stieglitz in a unification bout.

Groves is a year or so and 2 or 3 fights away from being ready for Froch and Ward. He should avoid both and up his comp. for now. Maybe after that he will be ready to take on the very top 2 or 3 and have a chance of winning. Groves might just have the right style to give both Froch and Ward problems. He is a good mover, which Froch doesnt like, and Ward has yet to meet a good mover, most of his comp has been stationary or come forward types.

Groves should target Bika, his footwork is crap, George would dance around him and beat the s*it out him,and the new.

It would be a good fight, I think the Cobra KO’s him eventually though, he knocked Groves over in sparring so…

Mick, I see where you’re coming from but Bika is a tough old nut and he would be no stroll for Groves. I dont think George is in any way ready for Froch but we’ll see…

Horribly written article. Based off opinion and not fact. Not only that, poorly structured English :(

But back to boxing, I think Groves is one or two fights away from showing he’s the real deal. He is learning and improving in every fight, using his skills to box getting in to land shots and then out to avoid them. Similar to training camp partner David Haye. He has come a long way since trading on the inside, where he can land exciting shots but taking many on the way.

If Froch takes the fight now he will win in a great domestic clash. But Froch has fought the best, and many times won. Groves needs a step up in competition before he can take this one.

George Groves is a very good, technically sound and brutal puncher, but he just isnt ready in any way for Froch with the guys that he has been in with. A way past it Glenn Johnson is the glosiest name on his resume. He should fight arthur abraham and steigletz then if victorious consider mixing it with Froch.

Froch is a tough S.O.B. and there’s no way he’ll vacate his title to avoid fighting a guy. This writer is way off. Absolutely a Froch hater.

Who ever wrote this article is utter clueless.

I like both Groves and Froch but I don’t see Groves winning this one. Froch really is way ahead of The Boy Groves. Now Groves v Kessler, that would be very interesting.

I guess Lucian Bute will not fight Froch again :D

George Groves would be a fool to take a fight with Froch at the moment ! He’s #1 mandatory contender for the WBC title & could handle Sakio Bika with ease, thus lining up a mega UK unification showdown in 2014 with a 50% split. “CA$H MONĀ£Y SPEAKES”!………………

Better than a 3rd fight with Kessler I suppose (for us British anyway),but groves is taylor made for Carl hell stand and trade at some point in the fight and get bombed out,I think stylistically DeGale would pose more of a challenge to Froch and I know I’ll be in the minoratey but I think DeGale could out box Carl if he had a really good night,as I suspected tho Eddie wants no part of ward or clev for Froch.

Froch will stop Groves late in the fight I think.

Are you serious man? A fight froch barely won vs Kessler? A limp jan? What are you smoking? Froch way too seasoned for groves but it will be a good tear up as always with the cobra involved against someone who comes to fight like groves will. Good while it lasts but froch will win by KO. Froch vs golovkin now that’s a fight I’d love to see

Who is Groves?

Great fight here. One of the few cases where the mandatory contender is a fighter who earned it. I won’t predict the winner till the fight actually is set though I’d lean towards Froch of course.
