And Jimmy Lennon Jr. announced that great fight.

Coming into his fight with Paulie, Cotto was 6-0 in title fights with 6 KOs. Paulie really was taking on a beast.

WTF is “jaja?” Just asking.

Posted June 22, 2013 9:22 am

““There are detours that he hasn’t had to take. I was a talented prospect at one time too. You know what I was rewarded with my first title fight? Miguel Cotto. You know what his reward was for his first world title fight? Some guy Rodriguez, who I can’t even remember his name. OK? There’s a difference. We end up on detours because of the people that have our backs.”

Those are facts. Interesting thing is that Broner has the same record, 26-0, that Cotto did when he fought Paulie.

Ernie – try telling us the flaw you think poor Paulie will expose, will wait.

Posted June 22, 2013 4:15 am

It’s me: had I seen your other post, I wouldn’t have called you on your ish, jaja. We’re good.

It’s Me, Ernie: Don’t worry, I actually wasn’t expecting someone of your intellectual shortcomings to understand. It’s actually hard to respond to something like what you wrote because it completely lacks logic, and the goal is to instill logic into someone who obviously didn’t have the mental capacity to come up with a good thought in the first place. Keep being envious, you’re dismissed.

It’s Me, Ernie

Trying to follow you Q, but that’s a mess you typed…

Falcon: less than 24 hours away. You’ll either be right or wrong in the end, just like everyone else with everything else. So I’m guessing IF Broner blast through Paulie, or beats him clearly.. you will change your tune? That’s the only option actually with what you’ve written, if it’s sincere what you wrote. If you sincerely think that Paulie is underrated (I think he is) and that Broner is overrated (I think he may be when it comes to him and FMJ’s legendary skillset and footwork throughout his prime and 5 divisions) but I don’t think he’s as overrated as you seem to think…. and you’ll have no choice but to accept that and admit it after tomorrow, depending on what happens, I’m not throwing out any predictions, but you just said that Paulie is so underrated and Broner is so overrated that it will be a 9-3 undeniable PM win… so if Paulie is say stopped in 6 or 7…. you’ll automatically be considered a Broner believer IMO… so you’ll need to change your name.

CORRECTAMUNDO: That’s an easy call with a 90% probability. You have a beating in a UD or a stoppage for Broner. That’s boring. Tell us why this will happen. Tell us if Paulie can cause Broner problems in spots and how he may be able to do that. Tell me some actual weaknesses please… jabs… hooks… uppercuts… do one fighter do something that usually causes the other trouble, or that have been seen to possibly be something that could cause the other trouble? Can you please give much more to your go with the flow of 99% of the people pick, because you’re really boring me now with this. It’s really boring… but it’s been kind of dull and boring and weird reading your gloating about a pick that every casual fan pulls out their a**. give me more please.

Posted June 21, 2013 11:26 pm

It’s Me, Ernie: “I hope he exposes Broner…” who do you hope one fighter “exposes” another fighter? what will happen in the bout will happen… if Paulie “exposes” Broner it would be from what was already in both fighters, so the only way you could “hope” Paulie “exposes” Broner, is by having in mind exactly what you think is there to be exposed… and most fighters have that SOMETHING, that can be “exposed” ..those flaws. What do you hope Paulie exposes that you already think about Broner? You’re saying if Paulie wins or does good he’s exposing Broner? Exposed as being what? But if he destroys Paulie, then what? If you’re hoping Paulie exposes Broner… and Paulie gets destroyed, then what do you then say? that Paulie couldn’t expose the flaws in Broner? well… that’s why they say styles make fights is it not? So if you don’t actually have anything in mind to be exposed, then you’re just online being jealous of people who don’t know your mom is alive (if she’s alive). What is this exposed you speak of?

Broner a bigger puncher then Cotto sorry buddy your dead wrong. Cotto carried power to 154 broner would not be able to do that. lets see if he can even bring it to 147 before we say he is that big a puncher. at 130 and 135 yeah ,welter it remains to be seen. in my opinion Paulie can win this fight and has beaten better opponents then broner has ever faced

Posted June 21, 2013 10:45 pm

Broner is the first puncher Malignaggi has ever faced… Hatton, Khan, and even Cotto couldn’t really bring the heat… This kid can bring it.

Next up for Paulie is Lucas Matthysse… Just kidding… in case you were planning on buying life insurance on Paulie.

el matador

Paulie is funny he clowned broner even broner looked amused oh well to bad Paulie isgetting ktfo.

Posted June 21, 2013 2:39 pm

You can already tell Malignaggi is beaten. He’s more worried about the Jessica stuff and Broner’s record than he is of finding a way to beat him. He knows deep down that all his home town fans will be in attendance, and that he will receive a beating. There’s absolutely nothing that Malignaggi can do to win this. I can’t find anything that will change the outcome. Broner stops Malignaggi before the 11th round.

Give me a break…Are saying that because Broner caught the eye of a great manager who is shaping his career that he (broner) is any less talented? No matter how much of a hype job you think broner is, Broner still has to fight these guys that are put in front of him. Paulie is the weakest fighter(IMO) at WW that holds a belt. And Paulie is talking trash about Broner being given the easy route… Paulie are you saying your an easy fight? lmao!!! By the way if Paulie had better management who could have done the same for him, would he be complaining?

Posted June 21, 2013 1:14 pm

Falcon – ” but will always fight tooth n nail with the best..” but will ultimately loose like his gonna loose on Saturday. There’s a good reason Broner chose Paulie his the weakest WW ” champion”

Posted June 21, 2013 12:37 pm

If boxing was good, then Paulie wouldn’t have a belt.

Posted June 21, 2013 12:33 pm

Paulie is 100% right about broner he represents everything that’s wrong with boxing he has been handed everything, he’s a clown built up like a building instead of building his own like REAL fighters!

Posted June 21, 2013 12:21 pm

Paulie underrated..Broner overrated..Paulie planted seed of doubt in Broners head about going the distance..and pace of a real fight when he brought up their conversation in the locer room b4 Ponce DeLeon fight….very revealing,Broner looked like the class clown that got clowned..he also seems 2 distracted in constantly bringing that womans name up and how important it is 2 put on a good fight 4 her..immaturity will be exposed..Paulie 9_3 in rounds and has AB stumbling like an exausted drunk at the end..i kmo i”m in vast minority but sticking with the pic..evan possible Haymon influenced judges wont be able 2 deny Paulie..couldnt have picked a better opponent 2 energize his career..not the best..but will always fight tooth n nail with the best..Go Paulie!

Broner by FACE lumping UD or late stoppage.

Posted June 21, 2013 12:00 pm

I’ve got a feeling that this really is going to be a great fight….

MNboxingFAN – Sean

They both make some valid points. Paulie didn’t get the breaks this kid is getting, but Broner is correct that he’s better than Paulie or the fans are giving him credit for. (Die hard boxing fans know Broner is for real though.) I’m a fan of Paulie and hope he can put on a show, but the fact is if Paulie can’t land his jab on this kid… and I don’t think he will… than he’ll be a world of hurt… and the fight might go 12 rounds… but it’ll be a long 12 for Paulie in front of his hometown fans and knowing he’ll be in a for unanimous decision loss. I’m pulling for Paulie though. Regardless of who wins I’m just hoping it’s a great fight to watch and that it’s not a holding/running/foul fest.

It’s Me, Ernie

It’s pretty bad when Paulie isn’t the biggest clown in the bout. It’s a long shot, but I hope he exposes Broner…
