Broner has a lot on his mind but it’s not Paulie. It’s getting arrested, appearing in court, and the STDs he got licking that nasty stripper’s cooch at a nightclub. Bet his GF he fake proposed to in the ring was thrilled to see that.

im really prayin to see another isida kirkland moment with paulie koin broner, but honestly broner by ko 8-9th rd

Posted May 13, 2013 5:35 pm

Paulie is actually a good commentator, don’t know why he shouldn’t just stay there.

Posted May 13, 2013 5:14 pm

Paulie is a pretty smart fighter. If he does’nt stay in front of Broner, like most have done thus far, us the jab along with lateral movement he could make it tough for Broner. Broner is very sharp and power and pretty hard to hit clean. In other words, Paulie has a tougher go of it thatn Broner.

32-4-7kos I don’t think Broner is losing any sleep over this match. Broner has another easy fight at hand. It is time to step to the next level, with the type of artillery skills he has. It is time to progress to the next level of competition.

BTW, Hissymundo, Mayweather greatly weakened Ortiz’s jaws when he sucker-punch KOd Ortiz. Now Lopez has broken it. Ortiz will never be the same again. That’s one reason why Paulie is taking on the strong up and comer Broner–not flakey, downhiller Ortiz.

“Malignaggi can’t beat Garcia, Matthysse, Peterson, Khan, Ortiz, Josesito Lopez, Maidana, Alexander, Judah, Trout, Cotto, Berto, or Guerrero.”

Hissymundo, Garcia, Matthysse, Peterson, and Khan fight as jr. welterweights. Khan is still working on regaining his credibility as a jr. welterweight. Cotto is fighting as a jr. middleweight now. He won’t go back down to 147. Ortiz is a flake who beat Berto. Guerrero is the guy who beat the guy the flake beat. Guerrero needs to fight Ortiz as a welterweight, then we’ll see what’s what. The only way Guerrero could beat Paulie is by marathon holding, hitting after the bell, and with rabbit–punches–same way he beat Berto and Aydin. Paulie will out-box him any day of the week. Lopez also beat the flake Ortiz which really says a lot about Ortiz’s caliber. Paulie would also beat Lopez. Trout? Trout is a bonafide jr. middle who comes into fights at 170 lbs. Get real. Make realistic comparisons.

Your list-rationale is BS. Paulie is a welterweight champion NOW. Out of all the names you mentioned the only other current welterweight champ is, oh look! NOBODY!

Malignaggi got a ‘gift’ against Pablo Cano in his LAST fight. Not 3 years ago when Broner fought Ponce De Leon!!

No one knows how Broner will look at 147 pounds… The assumption that he’s just gonna run ruffshod is exactly that.. An assumption

I think paulie is a slick boxer. Unfortunately broner is slick n can pop. I like broner by ud.

No one has done it yet? You might wanna take a look at Ponce De Leon vs Broner buddy. Give me your score afterwards.

Truth Teller-NICE handle!! I’m FLATTERED. ..But Broner carrying his power UP isn’t the main Factor. Carrying his SKILLS and Boxing IQ is the Factor. Broner will stop Paulie with accumulation. Still counts as a KO in the record books.

Malignaggi can’t beat Garcia, Matthysse, Peterson, Khan, Ortiz, Josesito Lopez, Maidana, Alexander, Judah, Trout, Cotto, Berto, or Guerrero. SO Floyd has MANY options before he gets to Malignaggi. Malignaggi’s not even on Floyd’s radar. He’s about to be a #0 P4P NON CHAMP and Floyd doesn’t face that caliber of opponent anymore. SO he should go after Bradley or Pacquiao. They take Fights vs #0 P4P NON CHAMPS. Floyd doesn’t.

Never thought I would be rooting for Malignaggi….but I will be … too bad he will be losing this fight. No way he wins a decision against an up and coming puncher like Broner. Broner is marketable and Malignaggi is not….the marketable guy almost always gets the nod in a close fight…even though I don’t think this fight will be that close. I think the real question in this fight is will Broner carry his power to 147 and can he KO a tough guy like Paulie who an undefeated Cotto couldn’t even finish.

Hildago, Mayweather would have a hard time saling a Malinaggi fight Since he’s already beat two of the fighters that beat Malignaggi in convincing fashion. If he gets by Broner he maybe able to sale it though. That just isn’t going to happen though.

If Mallenaggi can get by Broner, he’s a shoe in for a Mayweather fight. I doubt that’ll happen though.

This is a good fight for Broner. He can test the waters at this higher weight class and continue to improve his already awesome skill set against Malignaggi — a slick fighter who has been in with the best. I have little doubt Broner wins this one, how convincingly is the only question.

“Malignaggi is easy pickings at WW.” That’s probably what Senchenko was thinking before he fought Paulie. And I’m still waiting for a knowledgable answer: Why hasn’t Mayweather fought Paulie? If he beats Broner Mayweather will be knocking on his door.

Posted May 12, 2013 10:21 pm

I’d love it if Paulie beat Broner. Oh would that put out a lot of know-it-all lights! Unlikely though. But I do like Paulie’s confidence.

Broner is a fraud. he got beat by Ponce de Leon and got the gift decision. Malinaggi will box circles around him

Broner is not a fighter, he’s more of a boxer. Paulie is one of the best boxers today. Paulie may not win, but he won’t get his ass beat either. It will be close and Paulie may pull off a close decision.

DeMarco was a disgrace, little Gavin Rees gave Broner more of a fight! But I do hope Malignaggi gives Broner a tough fight!

Posted May 12, 2013 9:31 pm

Paulie wins this fight by UD…BROOOOOOKLYN!!!!!!

Posted May 12, 2013 9:20 pm

Ok, Broner just has to beat Malignaggi and he’s most likely reached his goal
of getting a high paying bout with Floyd.

Posted May 12, 2013 8:46 pm

I don’t understand why Paulie is saying this knowing he is in for an ass kicking!

Posted May 12, 2013 8:24 pm

Tomato Can

Malignaggi is easy pickings at WW. Broner should win this as easy as Cotto, Hatton, and Khan before him. That being said, Broner isn’t a finished product, and if he is, he’ll get exposed (for a lack of better words) sooner or later, due to some flaws, like closing his eyes while punching, and leaving his mouth wide open at the same time. Someone will catch him doing this, and it will be a sight to see.

Posted May 12, 2013 8:16 pm

Malignaggi has an as kicking coming, and I can’t wait. This fool still continues to run his mouth, and no one cares. Malignaggi, please go away for good once you receive this beating.

Posted May 12, 2013 8:05 pm

Malignaggi will be able to hit Broner often. Unfortunately, wouldn’t mean much!

Posted May 12, 2013 7:17 pm

Floyd mustve been easy work for Guerrero TOO then.
