The Mad Scientist

Broner has finally met his match and most likely will be exceeded in the war of words department but that’s about it for now.

Paulie rolls to victory in this one.

Posted April 29, 2013 2:54 am

I laughed at Paulie’s summer teeth joke… Summa your teeth are gonna be over here. Summa your teeth are gonna be over there… Since when does little Paulie have the punch to dislodge Broner’s teeth??? This boy is in Fantana’s Fantasy Land.

Who packs more power? Broner or Malignaggi? Who boxes better, Paulie or Adrien? … Take your time. I know these are tough questions for some of you.

Amir Khan pines for the day he’ll have more Paulie’s to fight. He wishes he could clone Paulie and use about 6 of them for sparring partners.

Posted April 29, 2013 1:41 am

Broner very disrespectful when he talks about girlfriends at a press conference. No class. Liked Paulie’s summer teeth joke, some over here and some over there.
Be routing for Paulie but he doesn’t have a big punch.

Alot of you guys erroneously believe in some sort of social justice where the nice guy wins and the humble servile athlete dominates… WRONG this is sport and even Jesus buys his popcorn and watches the results… Broner and Mayweather are over the top and super brash but alas that is part of their edge, ridiculous confidence… Gavin Rees and Demarco seemed like much nicer guys than Broner but both were beaten like Dogs….Cotto is not much of a trash talker, Hatton was beloved by his fans who saw him as a Blue Collar everyman but talent is what it is and Broner and Mayweather have it… Obviously Floyds is ironclad and validated by YEARS of success, meanwhile Broner is the new kid on the block… We will see if he can still keep walking the talk

Posted April 28, 2013 6:57 pm

Broner is immature but again it has been proven it takes something extra to get on the publics radar… Problem is that these guys are NOT reckless and immature once the bell rings…I like this Malignaggi fight for Broner Paulie has faced MUCH bigger punchers than Broner so it will be interesting to see how his (Broners) speed fares against Malignaggi who has quick hands himself and is acclimated to life above 135… Barclays is around the corner so I will DEFINITELY attend and see if Broner can bring it to Malignaggi in the manner he says he will…

Fight Aficionado, I get the same stupid (you’re typing too fast ) crap after writing a valuable and insightful paragraph on a fight, and it all goes to waste. ESB needs to fix that immediately.

Posted April 28, 2013 11:22 am

if broner could use his boxing skills better, mentally outside the ring i would have the same respect for him outside the ring as i do inside the ring. i hate it when boxers try to bring boxing down to the level of profesional wrestling. i have no respect for dirty showboaters ,and thats for malgnaggi also maybe not the same not sunk as low , but same princaple applies

Posted April 28, 2013 7:56 am

I’m sorry, I mean he Broner fought De Marco, not Molina. I always get them mixed up

Posted April 28, 2013 6:00 am

This fight may be closer than many think. Yes, I know Paulie does not have the power to break grapes and he barely beat Cano. Now hear me out. First, Broner has only fought two real fighters, Molina and an old Ponce de Leon. He wiped out Molina but he barely escaped with his life against an old Ponce de Leon. I believe that exposes something about Broner. Broner’s style demands that he set his feet before he throws his punches. There is no worse style for Broner than a guy with quick feet, hands and high fight IO, that’s Paulie. It has the possibility of being a boxing lesson and points victory for Paulie unless Broner can take away the jab.

The Prince

Everybody wants Paulie as a stepping stone. Give Paulie credit. He’s racking in the cash; both as a commentator and a high priced gatekeeper.

Posted April 28, 2013 12:22 am

Broener needs to keep his cool. Paulie has gotten into his head already!

Posted April 27, 2013 5:25 pm

De Marco gets insulted if he doesn’t take shots . He has little or NO defense. Paulie is a good boxer and knows how to slip punches. Problem is that Paulie can’t break an egg. Hard to believe that Paulie can go 12 rounds without getting tagged by Broner although Paulie has a good chin. Paulie was doing an interview and if Broner had any manners or class he would not have interferred, but then again Broner has made it clear thst he reishes being obnoxious.

“he was shaking, he was shaking” no, he wasn’t, punk.

Fights afficiando they tend to get upset when you post the truth and not agreeing with their lame ass writer

Fight Aficionado

I’ve not posted at ESB in 22 hours yet ESB’s lame ass software says I’m posting too quickly. Fix that FFS. Sick of wasting my time composing a post only to have it disappear. Bye.

I like Paulie heart and skill. But he just doesnt have enough pop in his fists to keep the young blood up off him. Going w broener ud or late stoppage. But im a fan of both fighters. Broener should be fighting at 140lbs though.

Neil (Pomy)

I would love Malignaggi to win …. but it is hard to bet against Broner in this one.

If Paulie could pack a punch? That’s a pretty big IF isn’t it?

AB…., “HA HA HA, I hate to abuse prepubescent adolescents, but I’m just going to have to do it the night of June 22ent. Paulie did sign the contract. He’s behind is mine now.”

Posted April 27, 2013 12:56 pm

Broner is a clown man, and I agree with Sean if Paulie packed a punch he’d probly stop broner

Broner says Paulie was shaking and didn’t want to talk? Looked like Paulie was laughing at your punk ass Broner and ready to throw down whenever. Like I said… if Paulie had power? Lights out for this kid Broner. Sadly though… Broner will probably get the decision unless Paulie has the perfect night of boxing. Hey anything can happen and I’ll be cheering for Paulie!

Broner is one of the best most talented fighter in the last 10 years. He has so much potential. Having said that, he needs to tone things down or sooner or later someone is going to do something bad to him inside or outside the ring. Why on earth would this young man want to follow in similar footsteps as Floyd Mayweather? Egotistical, disrespectful, money hungry, reckless. Someone needs to slap him a few times and turn himself around. If this is who he really is, than he needs serious help. If he does this for publicity, he needs to go in the opposite direction. Look at Floyd Mayweather. He’s one of the best fighters, but he has lost so much respect from people in general. When you think about Floyd, you think about more bad than good, and he will always be looked at that way because of who he portrays himself to be. Broner is one of my favorite fighters to watch, but he better turn it around quickly or he’s going to be hated by millions as his mentor Floyd Mayweather is. A good name is better than all riches.

What a classless jerk. Broner just had to interrupt that reporters interview like an grade school student. Actually grade level students have better manners… they’ll raise their hands when they want to speak. Paulie might be an easy win, but he won’t be getting KO’d early. There is a reason Paulie’s still around. The kid is intelligent in the ring and makes fighters look bad. If Paulie had power he could beat Broner easy, but seeing as he’s so light fisted… Broner by Decision… and I hate saying that because I like Paulie… but Broner’s got this. Unforunately.

Posted April 27, 2013 12:02 pm

I hope Paulie shuts him up in the ring.

Posted April 27, 2013 11:12 am

one hitter

maybe they could say broner beat bums but antonio demarco was no bum and pauly has fought way better fighters then broner beat i hope malignaggie gets the win

Broner is the incredible Plastic Man! He will never be e real man only a shadow and clone. He is not even his own man. Floyd is real and he is the Best not this big mouth replicant who gets knocked out in sparring!

Posted April 27, 2013 9:54 am

“What near brawl? All I saw were two homothugs arguing about who’s clothes look the best and pretending not to have an erection for the other. Save it for the ring girls.” Ooohhhhh, you’re so tuff! Either one of the guys would wipe the floor with your face.

Some 3 fight former amateur named Herol Spencer or something knocked Broner spark out in sparring recently. Spencer tried to play it down, said that they hadn’t sparred recently. However, apparently some trainer or someone involved in the game said he was actually in the gym when the alleged sparring incident took place, completely contradicting Spencer’s account of events. Why would Spencer lie about not sparring Broner if he didn’t have something to hide. At least Floyd didn’t try to hide it when he got knocked out by that skinny white boy in sparring, and Floyd had more reason to as well because the guy who knocked him out was a lightweight.

Broner has even less personality, charisma and charm that his baboon-eyed idol Floyd does, and Floyd has less of the aforementioned than a Belgian mannequin. He’s also twice as unfunny than Floyd too, and Floyd is about as funny as a horse kick to the bollocks.

Tomato Can

Broner will get his jaw broke at some point.

Tomato Can

Broner, will get his jaw broke at some. Maybe not by PM , but it will happen, he go into exchanges with his mouth wide open. He’s got talent and he gifted but he’s doesn’t seem to be all that bright, to me. Maybe he’ll prove me wrong, but I don’t think he’ll get to his full potential as a fighter. Something seems to be missing.

Posted April 27, 2013 9:13 am

Brones is going the way of the Ali’s and Mayweathers of the boxing world. It better suits his personallity, he will have most of you sitting in the seats buying his PPV’s to see him get beat. Just what he wants, you guy the mention him being scare I have to repeat this time and time again. At his level there is no room for fear, if you are a scared boxer quit, or end up beat up. Broner is another bad attitude in boxing that the fan will have to deal with for awhile, get use to it. I dout if Pauli will have a chance in this fight, but Pauli believes he can win even when all the cards are stacked against him. That’s who boxers are and fight is what boxers do.

Posted April 27, 2013 9:03 am

Hey boner, lay-off the the thug show, you do not fit the part. I hope Paulie beats you out of boxing

Posted April 27, 2013 8:52 am

Done and Dusted

To be intimidated by a guy that looks one step away from cross dressing shows Broner has nothing. Malignaggi will win this in a canter.

broner is gonna lose this malignaggi aint the hardest puncher but is stronger n fast n will shock

Posted April 27, 2013 8:12 am

Paulie looked shook

Posted April 27, 2013 7:39 am

Just have the feeling that Malignaggi is going to win

Posted April 27, 2013 7:25 am

From what I saw Broner appeared to be the more intimidated fighter. As soon as Paulie got in Broner’s face Broner and his posse walked away. I would love to see Paulie give Broner a boxing lesson.

Posted April 27, 2013 7:14 am

I agree, Broner was unable to look Guerrero in the eye. He was also the one that looked agitating after talking with Paulie. Body language tells all. Paulie was having fun.

Posted April 27, 2013 6:49 am

I didn’t appreciate Paulie until a couple of years ago. He’s great value and will be in the game for a long time as a commentator. Hope he beats Broner, but can’t see it. Broner needs to develop a real personality.

Posted April 27, 2013 6:47 am

Broner classy as allways.

Broner will win this fight, and he will do it easy.

Broner is funny what I remember is when Robert guerero whent up to him and broner was so scared he couldn’t even look at guerero he was so scared. Go to Youtube is there

This wasn’t no brawl. These two clowns were just clowning on each other. Hope they make for a good fight.

Posted April 27, 2013 4:48 am

the good thing about this is there will be plenty bad blood come fight time yeehaa.

Posted April 27, 2013 4:45 am

I agree Broner is a degenerate piece of shiv.

Posted April 27, 2013 4:39 am

I really like Paulie a lot more than I did when he first came onto the scene, and although I’d like to see more supertalents, a la Mayweather in boxing, I hope Paulie wins this one. Broner seemed a little bit too comfortable to stay behind his man there, and he looked the more shaken afterwards.
