Martinez should have no issues with this bout, hes a spirited and talented fighter…. That said he is gonna have to find some better comp if he wants to buff up his legacy, it has been a LONG time since Pavlik and Williams…He was impressive against Chavez and showed grit when he had to but Chavez Jr is going to be rememebered as strong yet lacking in discipline, sound defense with an average skillset… Macklins, Murrays and calling out WW’s have left Martinez upside a bit stagnant in my eyes… He might have to take some chances looking up the scale or pray that GGG’s name gets bigger… Face it Martinez wants to get paid he only has a few years left in the game I can’t blame him…

Boxie…He or someone on his team read your suggestion and acted on it,unlikely and highly improbable……You are an amateur, what could they gain by listening to you…..But saying that I am going to give you a chance to retaliate …..Martin Murray will beat Sergio Martinez…look forward to your comments…

Can’t c Sergio losing this 1, however. I do have a feeling his time is coming. He’s no spring chicken anymore. I like him and can c him being dethroned soon. Won’t b this fight though. GGG or Geale

boxtradamus = ignoramus: your act is becoming boring now. i just read straight past your comments onto the real ones. i think most other people do too. lol.

Boxtradamus, Brian Clough would kick yo ass, you wouldn’t know what had hit you.

“Last time you were wrong with your prediction (canelo v.s. trout).”-NO I wasn’t. I took Canelo by ROBBERY and I was CORRECT yet again.

Posted April 26, 2013 10:29 pm

Nopporn-Go take a recognition class. That wasn’t ME. That was one of MY Name Groupies that took Murray. I took Martinez by stoppage and I will be CORRECT.

Mario Kempes 1978

By the way, this is nothing to do with Boxing, Martinez beat Chavez, beat him up, better Boxer.Martinez v Murray, Martinez will win, he is fighting at home, better Boxer, usually has to fight away, so good luck to him, should be a good fight.

Navarez fought SUPER defensive against Donaire and lost a WIDE decision… I was going for Donaire and gave Rigondeaux no shot but I was DEAD wrong…. Rigondeaux badly outclassed Donaire, he looked like Mayweather in there to be honest setting traps and landing blistering counters…. Donaires tail was between his legs for alot of that fight and he did everything but get a hysterectomy after the fight shoulder surgery, excuses, discussing weight ect…. I am a Big Donaire fan but Rigondeaux has gotta get his props he was the ring General by plenty he had Donaires head whipping around…

Mario Kempes 1978

I know what jogged my memory, Argentina v Peru in the 1978 World cup, apparently it was a set up, Argentina won 6-0.

Mario Kempes 1978

He drew against Felix Sturm, after Macklin, or before, can’t remember, and Sturm lost against the Australian boxer geale.

Boxtradamus, No excuse! Last time you were wrong with your prediction (canelo v.s. trout). This time you will be wrong again. You are NOT the greatest fight prophet ever born.

BTW, Who is Murray anyway?

Mario Kempes 1978

Boxing in Argentina, news to me, I remember the World cup though, that was great.

The Low Blow !

FA has the beat

Fight Aficionado

Prediction: 1. Murray will get KOed. 2. He’ll spend the rest of the weekend banging hot Argentinean babes without a rubber. 3. Bring home the clap and whatever British wife or GF will smash him with a frying pan. 4. Profit.

Ben Hill

What a crazy career for Martin Murray! guitar bass player for red hot chili peppers, actor into the big lebowski and now fighting for a world boxing title!

“My name groupies at it again.”-Says MY Name Groupie. LMFAO!! I am the GREATEST Fight Prophet ever born!!!!

Posted April 26, 2013 6:15 pm

“Saying Rigo had to fight “defensively” against Donaire is like saying “you gotta land punches to win”….it goes without saying, that was a CAPTAIN OBVIOUS moment.”-NO it wasn’t. Not everybody can WIN by Fighting Defensively against Donaire but I KNEW that Rigo COULD. That’s why I gave THAT advice to Rigo and NOT to Arce, Mathebula, or Vasquez Jr….. MY advice to THEM would have been to NOT take the Fight.

Posted April 26, 2013 6:13 pm

“you ego is so strong, not good pal”-No its not. I have no ego…. MY confidence is VERY strong though and it cannot be deflated.

Posted April 26, 2013 6:10 pm

Rich-before I gave MY advice Rigo was telling everyone that he was going to open UP and let his hands go ALOT on Donaire…. I SAID that the decision to DO that would be POOR and suggested that he Fight very Defensively. HE or someone on his team obviously read MY post and implemented MY game plan and it WORKED….Now Rigo is lauging on his way to the BANK.

Posted April 26, 2013 6:08 pm

I see a possible upset coming. Martinez has look incresingly vulnerable in recent fights and Murray is no slouch. I love Martinez, but this is not an easy fight.

Posted April 26, 2013 3:19 pm

Boxtradamus – Saying Rigo had to fight “defensively” against Donaire is like saying “you gotta land punches to win”….it goes without saying, that was a CAPTAIN OBVIOUS moment. Any fool can tell you that to beat Donaire, you gotta NOT get hit. Duhhhh!!!

Posted April 26, 2013 2:51 pm

Boxtradamus, you ego is so strong, not good pal. Nobody can with 100% accuracy a boxing match, and I was a boxer and am a boxing judge. For this fight I do not see it as easy for “Maravilla” as many people would think, but still he’s the logical favorite

Posted April 26, 2013 2:37 pm

Boxie, these boxers who you nievly think hang on to your every word then act on your suggestions don’t even know you exist and if they did they would find you laughable..

Posted April 26, 2013 2:09 pm

YOU remember WRONG. One of MY Name Groupies picked Rios like an AMATEUR. YOU thought Iit was ME SO he made a fool out of YOU. I made no pick in that Fight..when you get some recognition SKILLS you’ll realize that… the Donaire Fight I SAID that IF Rigo Boxed Defensively he would WIN and I was CORRECT. …Thats why you have to keep UP with Boxing. Donaire has one of the WORST Defensive coaches in the Sport…he also got out Boxed 5 rounds out of 12 vs Narvaez. SO it was EASY to see that Rigo would WIN IF he took MY advice. ….I am the GREATEST Fight Prophet ever born!!!

Brazilian Boxing Fan

Boxtradamus, you are not a fight prophet… I remember that you picked Rios to beat Alvarado in their second fight… and you also picked Donaire to beat Rigondeaux…

Very good atmosphere in the weigh in. Murray seems confident. He’s going to face a master of the ring on his own turf. Nothing to lose and everything to win. Sergio is an exceedingly difficult rival under any circumtamces, but one that will engage and exchange with the challenger. That gives Murray a slim chance, sure, Sergio will trade but it will most likely be at the distance and timing of his chosing. I say Sergio by stoppage between the 9 and the 11.

Posted April 26, 2013 12:18 pm

HAHAHAHHAHA!! Sergio wants to be a Fight Prophet like ME. I am TRULY FLATTERED.
