Cant see Murray hanging that long with Sergio…he might do good for a few rounds but it will end there….

Posted April 24, 2013 7:21 am

Who is Murray? He cant survive.

Posted April 24, 2013 12:54 am

Hidalgo… It means there are 3 interesting fights at middleweight that aren’t getting made. I would love to see 1 or 2 of them.

I will KO Murray in 7

Posted April 23, 2013 9:11 pm

Funny but Martinez went through he’ll with Macklin. Macklin was actually winning till he ran out of gas

“Canelo and Trout unified… Donaire and Rigondeaux unified” What does this mean, Tark?

Posted April 23, 2013 8:35 pm

Murry is gonna get hurt. Martinez will demonstrate how to beat your aponent. Not go through hell trying ala Floyd.

Posted April 23, 2013 7:58 pm

I think Murray is good enough to see the final bell if he plays it smart, will he win, pobably not in which case he’s better of going out on his shield, no point being the only guy who looked like he was in a fight in the post fight press conference..

Martinez is THE MAN!! Get it champ.

Posted April 23, 2013 5:20 pm

Sergio has certainly earned the accolades he’s received. While I’d love to see him fight GGG — what an interesting clash of styles that fight would be — I wonder how much Sergio has left after all the “cruiserweight” blows he took from Chavez Jr. Those blows were the thudding, career-shortening type, and after that fight Sergio is likely feeling every bit of 37 years old.

I just want to see, Martinez, Golovkin, and Quillin fight each other… Canelo and Trout unified… Donaire and Rigondeaux unified… These fights can be made if there’s a will. So if there are great fights out there? Make ’em. Even if it is a lot less risky for each of these World Champions to fight guys they know they can beat standing on their heads. The problem is the fans know it too. But of course fights aren’t made for the benefit of the fans. They’re made to milk a world title for as long as it can possibly be milked. Get chicken fat on it if you have to.

I hope Martinez wins as there has been talk of him facing IBF and WBA champion Daniel Geale.Yes Geale never lost the WBA title he took from Sturm in the ring, the WBA striped him after just 2 months. The winner of a Geale-Martnez or Geale-Murray [should Murray win]would be he undisputed middleweight champion. I like Golovkin, but he didn’t win his title in the ring. Golovkin’s time is coming.

Sergio is a complete wanker, he will never be regarded as a p4p great coss he isn’t as likeable as the rest of the guys in the ranking, sure he is a really slick boxer, but he isn’t fighting GGG or Kid chocolate or even any of the other elite in his own weight class. Imo he would get iced by GGG he got clocked by JR in his last fight and was close to be putting out.

I think Sergio would probly stop golovkin, against Andre ward though he’ll maybe win 3 rounds not taking nothing from maravilla either but Andre cleared up a WHOLE division something that no one does anymore

To be top P4P Sergio needs to beat Golovkin and then take on Ward. Beat those two and he will be considered joint with Mayweather by most.

I was just kidding, Denise, it was a bad joke and I apologize. I do not think he is better-looking than me, but I hope he beats Murray.

Denise, do not even mind that guy, I guess he was just in a bad day. Forgive him. I believe Martinez will beat Murray, but I sure hope he does not underestimate the guy.

It will be like the 14th of June 1982 all over again, Argie scum surrendering to the might of Britain.

Posted April 23, 2013 11:48 am

I think you will find Sergio (as much as I admire you as a boxer) that aint going to happen ;)

Posted April 23, 2013 11:27 am

Like Bernard Hopkins, Sergio Martinez is fanatical about his lifestyle, diet, and maintenance training regimen. Every boxer thinks they can fight to the age of Hopkins, Martinez, Vitali, and Marquez but it’s not true… When you go on long vacations without a maintenance workout program, when you party hardy, booze it up, snack it up, gallivant at night with a rat pack of friends, chasing tail, snorting coke, smoking dope, tossing shots, throwing money around like there’s no end to it, it’s a great lifestyle, but when you’re 36 or 37 some 2nd rater is going to hammer you. The punishment you take in your last few fights will mock you for the rest of your life.
