just 3 words: volition, power and the heart of a fighter!

That’s 8, but okay.

Just exactly how many top 10 fighters
did the phony, WBA ” champion ” Hayes, beat to get HIS title shot ?
How did THAT happen ? Anyway, how
much worse can Charr do ?

No one makes a fuss, because the K-bros already have cleaned out the division and the ones that left are scared

Vitali is going to murder this poor lad. He can actully name the round if need be.

Charr defends like a cross between Muhammad Ali and Arthur Abraham… He hides behind his gloves inviting his opponent to throw a ton of punches, but he moves aggressively forward trying to impose his size, strength, and durability in wearing his opponent down. He wings a lot of body shots, and I expect him to land some of these on the aging VItali… I give Charr a 60% chance to go the distance—the biggest factor being VK’s age …. Charr will probably lose by a wide margin, but Vitali needs to be alert because he’s fighting a big strong guy who can throw hard. VK’d reflexes are moderately to seriously diminished due to his age. Lennox Lewis was out-to-lunch during a couple of his easier title defenses, and it was lights out. You can’t take any opponent lightly.

central authority will make boxing corrupt. the current 4 belts system is our last stand as consumers, because we can just ignore a chump regardless of his belt. now imagine there was only one belt and whoever held it must have been recognized as the champ. how many outright corrupt decisions would there be? Olympics would look better than this picture of horror.
and the fact that noone makes a fuss is the flipside of course. they have another three belts to go for… ooops. sorry those three belts are in the same jeopardy and noone makes a fuss either. how come? there are no contenders, that why.

I’ve been watching boxing almost as long as you — I’ve been watching since the early 70s. It’s likely Charr is a good kid, but it mystifies me that a fighter could suddenly be given a title shot without anyone in the Top-10 raising a fuss and saying he needs to fight/beat me first. Oops, I forgot, this is example/reason #493 as to why boxing so desperately needs a central authority.

VITALI OVER CHARR 12.25 PM 9/3/2012

Patrick2…Wach has done the same thing he never fought a top 10 guy in the division and is getting a title shot. Boxing has changed alot since I first started watching it in the late 60s. Charr seems like a good kid and I wish him well it would be nice for Syria if he pulled a upset(but it wont happen)after what those poor people are living with. He said hopefully in the future some of the arab countries will put money in there boxing programes that would be good if they can get on their feet and regroup themselfes. Myself I noticed watching the olympics over many years north africa and some middle east countries always had some pretty good boxers but you never heard from them after that. Like the year Povitkin won the gold for Russia Egypt had 5 medals in boxing.Abit strange maybe they go back to work in the family bussines or something I guess it could be a diffrent mind set.

The guy is able to sidestep/avoid the ENTIRE heavyweight Top-10 and he gets a title shot. How does this happen?
