It’s a good thing I turned it off right before the 4 round “main event” lol. Just saved 15 minutes of my life.

Django Unskinned

Zou will be champion in 2 years, the silly question about beating taco wrapper is a new business inside boxing business. Give him 15 fights & he’ll gets better or unless Top rank gives him easy fight accordingly. IF manny pok-chop poochio wants to stays with arum thats bcos of $$$$$ and catch weight easy fights. Maybe some american bums would go to china, same as multi bums peregrinate to japan & philippine.

I expect you will see a long line of soft touches travelling to China to lose to Zou. Valenzuela, a gangly teenaged novice was only the first.
Someday, China might produce a decent professional boxer, but, clearly, Zou is not the one. They will make money off him as long as they can, but I don’t see him ever moving up. His defence is not great, he can’t hit, and he seemed to be out of gas in round 4. At 30 plus, this dog is too old to learn the new tricks he will need against better opposition.

Zou looked horrible. He throws punches with his chin in the air. He is very inaccurate. He does not throw straight punches. No jab. He has a lot of work and he is already 31. He looks very slow too. If you don’t have athletic ability, you don’t have power, you have bad technique, throw punches with you chin in the air and are already 31 I don’t see much of a future. BTW, did I mention you cant beat an 18 year old cherry picked opponent.

hype jobs

And Viloria was supposed to be a P4Per?

Zou Shimming is a bum. They put a guy in there who has won 2 out of 5 fights and Zou barely beat him. Zou is dudu.

boxing king

Shiming did not impress at all, all and he’s over 30 already he can’t get any better

Posted April 7, 2013 3:43 pm

Shiming has a long way to go…he fights like a girl!

Posted April 7, 2013 3:25 pm

Shiming will not be a factor at all, way way to many bad habits that will not be corrected, Arum will keep him in China, feed him hand picked opponents and make lots of money, he will be the Butter bean of Chinese boxing, a novelty act . The Estrada kid was great to watch, he came right out of no where and was very impressive, lets hope we see more of him,-peace

Public Enemy

that sacrificial Mexican non-fighter they threw in there with this Hyped up Chinese fighter was just sinful.. come on, my grandmother could’ve kicked that poor kids assssss…. can you imagine what would happen if they put this Chinese Hype Job up against the top real Boxers in his weight Class??? KnockedafkoutCold.. just a matter of time..

joe e.

Viloria psyched himself out of this fight long before it was even fought.

Posted April 7, 2013 10:40 am

Was I the only one who thought the Shiming was slapping with almost all his punches?

Posted April 7, 2013 9:51 am

Manny Steward RIP was the best commentary expert, he actually knew what he was talking about, unlike Foreman.

Posted April 7, 2013 5:25 am

Shoe Shining turns pro at 31? way too late I cant see him doing much in the pro’s he didn’t look like much at all.

Posted April 7, 2013 5:18 am

I was referring to Viloria.

Posted April 7, 2013 1:16 am

BTW great to have foreman back doing commentary. Please HBO bring George back and get rid of the worst announcer of all time Roy Jones Jr

Color is needs to do something about his stamina. He gets tired at the end of fights too often

The South will rise again

What a crappy card, Rocky looked average at best vs a very limited boxer. That Shimming dude is nothing special, the little amateur string bean was so limited and weak that my old ass could take in a boxing match. He was taking shots and just kept coming, didn’t looked bothered at all. Vilora looked so average against someone I never heard of, but props to that Estrada kid, he might be fun to watch against segura or tyson marquez in the near future.

Need to wipe my Tark again

Zou is already a multi-millionaire from his “amateur” career.

Need to wipe my Tark again

Viloria needs to take a rest, been taking too many shots to the head recently.

Fight Aficionado

I hear Zou Shiming got $300K for his 4 round debut. There’s sick wealth in China nowadays.

Posted April 6, 2013 5:11 pm

Zou is not for real. He has zero power and throws sloppy looping punches. He better be matched extremely carefully. His only chance if for arum to feed him bums and pile up wins and eventually one of the champions will be stripped and zou can fight a hand picked bum opponent and pick up a paper title. Any top 50 fighter would be too much for this guy.

Posted April 6, 2013 4:30 pm

I thought Viloria would take Estrada. It was a very close fight.

Posted April 6, 2013 12:00 pm

Ive made good money on Zou Shimming in the past as an amateur. I wish him well in the pro’s but he has left it late. Hopefully Macau can be a big boxing place in years to come.
