Las Vegas, Sunday, May 6, 2012 legendary boxing Icon, Emanuel Steward is returning to Las Vegas to conduct a boxing clinic at, The Palms Casino located at 4321 W. Flamingo Rd.
Steward has been in boxing for over the past fifty plus years, he himself was a former U.S. National Golden Gloves Champion. In 1996 he was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame, as manager/trainer. He has trained/managed more than 44 World Champions, his work continues today. Presently Steward is training World Heavyweight Champion, Wladimir Klitschko and Jr. Middle Weight World Champion, K9 Bundradge, Adonis Stevenson, Andy Lee and top prospect Tony Harrison in addition to being HBO’s Expert Boxing Analyst.

”I began these clinics because I want to share my years of experience in around the ring, in addition to my proven winning methods,” Steward says. “I have seen the good and the bad. I have learned valuable lessons, which I want to pass along to those truly interested in the sport.” Says Steward.
Steward’s clinics have become a must-attend event for amateur and professional boxers, trainers, conditioning coaches, officials, MMA enthusiasts, and boxing fans.
In The Sport of Boxing there is no standardized requirements or certifications for one to become a boxing trainer, manger, or cut man. “The liability factor is great when it comes to the safety of the fighter, this is a serious safety problem in boxing, these clinics are designed to address these issues. This boxing clinic will provide knowledge and insight into what I have learned in the Sport of Boxing.” Says Steward
The clinic runs from 11:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Palms Casino located at 4321 W. Flamingo Rd. Las Vegas. Registration begins at 9:45 a.m. The clinic fee is $99 per person; amateur boxers and coaches receive a reduced fee of $30 with their *USA Boxing Passbook (*Must show passbook at registration.)

• Conditioning
• Balance/Footwork
• Hand Wrapping
• Diet/Nutrition

Also available will be a $225 VIP front row seat, which includes a meet-and-greet with Steward. As an added bonus, clinic participants will have an opportunity to discuss the Cotto vs Mayweather fight.
A portion of the proceeds benefits the Kronk Gym Foundation (http://www.kronkgymfoundation.org), which provides boxing training and mentorship for underprivileged youth. This non-profit organization is committed to making a difference in the well-being of youth through character-building, education and recreation. Many of the youth in this program become world champions, but even more become world champion citizens.
