Carl McNickles Speaks After His Victory On Martinez vs Macklin Undercard

Grind 2 Def Entertainment is proud to congratulate lightweight boxer Carl “Chi-Town Assassin” McNickles (8-3
6 KOs) on getting a big victory by 6 round majority decision over tough New Jersey based fighter Danny McDermott (9-4-2, 4 KOs) on the undercard tonight of Martinez vs Macklin at Madison Square Garden in New York, New York on a boxing card promoted by Dibella Entertainment..

Carl McNickles said “I’m very happy about this win tonight on the undercard of a big boxing event like Martinez vs Macklin. I want to thank Dibella Entertainment for this opportunity and I want to thank all the fans who came out to the fight. Normally I fight at 135lbs but it’s been hard to get fights. This chance to fight at 140lbs on a big card like Martinez vs Macklin came up so I took this opportunity. Now that I got the win tonight I will definitely be staying at 135lbs which is a better weight class for me. Tonight I got into the ring on the big stage at Madison Square Garden and took care of business to get the victory. I want to thank Team McDermott for stepping up to the plate and accepting this fight after alot of other fighters ducked me.”

Macke Roberts said “I’m happy that Carl got the victory on a big boxing show at Madison Square Garden. Carl is a hard working fighter who trains hard and wants to be successful in boxing. After the victory tonight at Madison Square Garden, Carl will go back to the gym and continue to train hard to be the best lightweight fighter possible. Carl and I look forward to getting bigger and better fights at 135lbs.”

Carl NcNickles said “I want to thank my team, my fans & my family for all their support leading up to this fight. I’m ready to move on to bigger fights at 135lbs. Their are some good fights out there for me at 135lbs and I’m ready for those challenges.”
