Abraham vs. Froch: Arthur Abraham Training Camp Video

Arthur has arrived in ice-cold Helsinki. Team Abraham flew in from Berlin on late Sunday night to continue the preparation for Saturday´s Super Six World Boxing Classic showdown with Carl Froch. The vacant WBC Super-Middleweight Title will also be on the line. “It is great to be back in Finland,” King Arthur said. “It is very cold up here but I like it. We have prepared for the cold weather. I will defeat Froch and accomplish my goal of winning a world title in a second weight class.”

Earlier on Sunday, EU Heavyweight Champion Robert Helenius had arrived in Helsinki. The Nordic Nightmare will take on Attila Levin in the co-featured main at Hartwall Areena on Saturday night..

Helenius ready for Levin

Robert Helenius (13-0, 8 KOs) gave the Finnish media a first-hand look at his punching power when he held an open work-out session in Helsinki on Monday afternoon. The “Nordic Nightmare” will take on Attila Levin (34-3, 27 KOs) on Saturday night at Hartwall Areena. After skipping the official press conference last month, Levin once again did not show up today. This time, however, he had a very good excuse – he became father of a baby girl on Sunday night. “I am sorry that I cannot attend today´s press training,“ he said in a statement. “I was eager to meet Robert Helenius. For obvious reasons, he has to wait a few more days. I will travel to Finland later this week to complete what will be the best week of my life. I will knock Robert Helenius out and win the EU Heavyweight Title for my baby girl.”

Helenius wished his opponent well. “That is great news for him. On behalf of everybody at Team Sauerland, we wish the Levin family well. I will be prepared for an even stronger opponent now – I am sure the birth of his girl will give him another confidence booster. But I have a job to do on Saturday night and I will show no mercy in the ring.”

Legendary German coach Ulli Wegner, who worked the pads with his fighter during today´s session, was full of praise for Helenius´ development. “Over the last year he has gained a lot of confidence and experience,” Wegner lauded. “I have promised the Finnish fans to turn him into a world champion and we are on a very good way. The fight against Levin, an experienced an tough boxer, will be a big test, but I am sure that Robert will make his Finnish fans very happy on Saturday night.”
