25.01.07 – Attention Boxing Fans: Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing’s sensational “Punchin’ at the Paradise II” show from the Paradise Theater in Bronx, New York, will be televised via tape delay in two parts on the HDNet network. Part one will be broadcast on January 26. Part two is scheduled for February 2. Both begin at 9:30 pm..

While the exact bout lineup is yet to be determined, “Punchin’” features a terrific main event pitting USBA Junior Middleweight champion Terrance “The Heat” Cauthen (32-3, 9 KOs) defending against New York’s former champion Raul Frank (27-5-3, 13 KOs). The fight, scheduled for 12 rounds, is also an eliminator for the IBF’s #2 world ranking.

The undercard is a celebration of tough New Yorkers, including a six-round featherweight scrap between the Bronx, via Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic’s Pasquel Rouse (19-11-3, 11 KOs) and Pennsylvania’s once-beaten Eric Hunter (5-1, 3 KOs), as well as undefeated “Baby from the Bronx”, Maureen Shea (8-0, 4 KOs) in a women’s six-round super featherweight showcase against tough Watertown, New York, native Elizabeth Villareal (2-1-1). Rockland, New York, resident Denys Lozado (2-1) will face New Brunswick, New Jersey’s Mike Ciccone (1-2) in a light heavyweight four rounder against .

Other local products making appearances will be the Bronx own undefeated light heavyweight Joel Castillo (4-0, 3 KOs) vs. New Jersey’s William Gill (6-13, 5 KOs) over six; transplanted New Yorker Suszannah Warner (6-3, 1 KO) against tough Puerto Rican Nancy Bonilla (2-4, 1 KO); a heavyweight double pro debut between New York City’s Vaughn Parham and Maryland’s Travis Wates, and a six-round welterweight duel between Cleveland veteran John Lipscomb (2-7) and Plainview, New York’s undefeated Tommy Rainone (3-0).
